I think the end of a mission multiplies the amount of crafting materials or brewing ingredients you get based on how many players there are? I've had that happen too.

Sorry for the late response, I like to pair up Dash with either IW or Field Medic usually for actives, though I like using Hover Boots on Scout. Born Ready, Thorns and Vampire are my usual picks for passives, but I've been thinking of switching Thorns for Resupplier recently 
in any way, you should experiment and see what works best for you!

get blowthrough too, your grunt clear will be really great
also lightning quick reload in t5 can be pretty clutch, so i recommend that
if you feel like you are missing some shots while spamming, feel free to get recoil reduce instead of armor breakin
