I'd say the best bet is the shortest mining expedition (200 morkite) with dark morkite beer. Gunner is a safe option as you can use your shield to have some breathing room in a clutch and also has great crowd control

the "Today's Special" is always a buff-beer. and you always pay barley bulbs for these

sometimes it might be a useluss buff though. for example the beer dark-morkite let you get more morkite. it doesn't realy help when you do any mission but a mining mission.

Even then I prefer to go through the entire cave during mining missions. Finding enough to end the mission early only really matter during Deep Dives

Otherwise it’s just a bit of extra XP

As mentioned you should probably Just Do It™️, that build is plenty serviceable even in solo and the regular deep dive doesn't require all that much in terms of gun setups

2 of us started with a breeder spawning a million flying jellies slowly killing us
in addition to a prospector walking right into my face as i was shooting a praetorian therefore activating it and spawning patrol and shredder bots on us
then we just killed the prospector (and breeder) and mission control's like "we're detecting something big coming your way"
panic collected some nitra as the dreadnought came
then the engi and scout started loading in and dropped in the middle of a dreadfight on a refinery mission

also got 2 bulks spawning during the rest of the mission after that initial insanity, and results were rather painful
