So guys, I'm a new player, and I've got a couple of questions about some weird stuff I've encountered in the game.
FIRST: We were in the Weald, doing the Dreadnoughts mission (with the big eggs), when before fighting the first boss, we encountered a Big Cluster Bomb Glyphid. After we fought him, and blew him up, rather than leaving slag, he left a massive explosion of gold (about 800's worth) that jsut plastered the cave walls. Basically... Why did this happen??
Also, on a Defend the Drilldozer mission during the desert, we encountered a hidden gem (the kind that you dig the rock, than actually have to pick up to secure). Though, when we discovered it, it was not a gem, but rather this funny box with a white glowing pattern (And some weird NULL/ERROR value on the rewards screen). Basically, What is this?
Any help with these weird questions would be appreciated!!!

The first one is in your miner's manual, if you want to read more info, the guy you encountered has an entry in the bestiary. He's a rare spawn with a good reward
The second is an "Error Cube" that can be rarely found, you get some bonus XP/Credits at the end of the mission for finding it, but it's very mysterious what it is for

They, like error helixes, error cubes, and Gravity wells have a rare chance to generate. A good place to make a standoff against a wave since the grunts minimal buff to defense likely wont stop your superior firepower

If you have better gear, gotten better at the game itself, haz 4 is no problem but if you have basicly unupgraded gear and still get confused by half the things down in the cave, it might not be a good idea to directly join the hardest missions available before completing the haz 5 assignment

...yeah that's about right compared to my mineral reserves at 100 hours, although of course mineral gain isn't remotely linear since at some point you've gotten all the upgrades you want and stop spending them.
Is there a way to check total resources of each type earned over your career? That'd be fun to see
