There doesn't seem to be any ricochet occurring against the target lootbug

just AoE damage from explosive rounds, as demonstrated by shooting next to the lootbug, where a ricochet round with fly by it harmlessly

to contrast, shooting just in front of the lootbug (but far enough away to not hit it with AoE damage) doesn't seem to hit the lootbug

So this is an old clip on Haz3 but it works just as well on haz5 I just don t feel like doing an escort just to record again, I ve only ever seen one engi other than me do this, you can save your whole team ammo on the second phase and if you tell your driller/scout before the missions they can run less restrictive builds. I still see some people saying this doesn't work because of the blast wave between phases that s why you set up at the start of the phase right after the blast,it even helps to have the bridge started at a range the blast won't reach like I have on this clip
