Nightmarish mission I just experienced
double mutator, only mactera-type swarms, and I forgot I had a QOL mod installed that adds a wonderful new bit of endemic Hoxxes fauna, the Glyphid Acid Spitter Queen, which tormented me the entire mission with intelligence and firepower to easily surpass a lone dwarf. Terrible. would not recommend without coworkers.

They're machine events.
You're supposed to have a blank core, if you have one, you'll be able to infuse it in that white machine in the back. Blue cores gives weapon Overclocks which give buffs (along with debuffs for most overclocks) to your weapons, while the pink ones gives you cosmetic cores. However, you will need to craft them in the forge after infusing using credits and crafting minerals.
Since you have no cores at the moment, enjoy your extra XP for now.

A blister from the overclock blistering necrosis. It's an incredibly complex unstable overclock.
But the TL;DR is that it creates 1.5x weakpoints anywhere on a bug but will get a higher multiplier if it spawns on a better weakpoint (ex: it spawning on warden's bulb and getting the higher 3x multiplier). Has 50 hp (iirc) and does 80 poison dmg when it breaks. Weapons with blowthrough or pierce can hit both the blister and the bug/weakpoint it is on for 2 hits of damage.
