I would try to diversify your weapons, right now they both serve the exact same purpose.

main weapon is flamethrower, cooker can serve as main if I run out of ammo on flamethrower, also I like that I can pretty much one shot praetorians and oppressors by igniting and cooking them quickly

I've tried to use epc but I don't feel comfortable with it, and I don't like the subata, plus the cooker is really fun

but I've just unlocked sludge pump and I'd like to check how that goes

also I don't think they really serve the same purpose, since the cooker has infinite range and I can kill enemies that can't be reached with my flamethrower, and it's also good for single target damage because of t5c even if I have t1c for aoe (just makes it easier to aim and diffusion ray is the only oc I have so why not use it)

EPC feels very nice to mine with especially when there is no scout even after update. I think that running it with a direct damage build would supplement the wave clear of sticky flames nicely, and give a way to clear priority threats at a distance that can’t be light on fire to be temp shocked, like menace or distant spitballer.

If you do really like the temp shock wave cooker I think a direct damage flamer with lots of ammo would do better than the sticky flames where it is more difficult to build up heat on a single target.

the detonator and its crassus version are both slow

so anyone can outrun it

Just hit the arse with fire, positioning can be a small challenge at times but fire really is just better
