Also, the game is more rewarding when you take your time. More XP for killing more enemies is a good thing. More minerals to the point where you clean out the dig is worth it.

"Take time to save time", and "Measure twice, cut once". These lessons I see speed runners are lacking in, and their laziness shows.

speedrunning doesn't always mean do the objective and nothing else by the way. You can still do secondary, machine events, crafting minerals, regular events like cargo crates without making a mission take 40 minutes long

There isn't really much you can do, as the hoop speeds are random per every time it hits the left side.

And if you stop to wait for a slower speed, you will risk losing your current combo multiplier, which is essential.

TL;DR, You have to hope for the best.

God reminds me of time i failed an edd cause the scout I was with was nor doing his job. He called 3 resupplies in the 1st mission even double dipping from one. Then we got to the 2nd stage. It was mactera plauge and a bunch of breeders and brood nexuses were in the main cave. Engineer dies and instead of going to help him the scout zipped of and left me and the gunner alone. I died trying to rescue engineer to s leech gunner kills it but is busy dealing with all the mactera and then he died. Scout finally comes back over and dies. We failed after 3 of us each had used iron will to red the others but all died in our attempts.
