It's extremely fiddly. Hold the E button and move around with mouse, eventually you might get it.

Took me nearly two minutes. My guess is that there is no hitbox to properly interact with.

it remains the one driller gun I can't seem to LIKE for some reason.

currently this is what I have.

intent? freeze things quickly and ammo efficiently + finish enemies off with some form of combination with the secondary or melee.

1 - am I using a good mod setup for this goal?

2 - what secondary would you recommend?

-Subata gets good long-range plinking results and benefits greatly from freeze+weakspot multipliers. but it is very anemic otherwise.

-damage+fire EPC causes fairly brutal temp shocks, but it's hard to use at a distance and overall clumsy to use. I tend to struggle with it in stressful scenarios.

-CWC temp shock makes for a fairly brutal grunt bust option and even burst damage on heavy units, but heavy units require multiple freezes (and take longer to freeze, period) meaning I sort of fudge up the whole ammo efficiency point.
