i did a poor job of discribing the actual dispenser. Did not have the time to go full ham on the illustrations since im working on my portfolio mainly but the icon on top of the dispenser is there to show what brew is inside. There is some room to play with the idea. Maybe the icon has malfunctions sometimes so you dont know what you get , making it random. Maybe it contains some beers with unwanted side effects. just brainstorming here

If the general mid-beer idea is good , the main question is: what kind of beer or buff should players get here in the end. Should it be a strong buff ? Should it be a more fun effect ? At one point i was thinking that it is a good opportunity to bring back the removed "double jump" with a beer. It would be random and could not get overused if its a random buff/beer.
Maybe playing with the idea of tradeoffs so that you dont know what you get. But in general its a little "risky" to penalize players for doing the exploring it think.

There’s a mod called spiders 2.0 that makes their model rotate to face the ground, updates their pathing so they can travel on walls, and just makes them creepier in general. Hmm, I'd like to put together a glyphid "evolution" tree. Seeing as how grunts can morph into slashers or gaurds, and then how gaurds may be come pretorians (and then farther up the list)... I think It'd be fun to get a "life cycle" diagram. (taking into account swarmer egg pods and then the wall clusters)
If you have any insight on how specific things formed, like where Menace's fit (Clearly stated not related to acid spitter), or what slashers become later in life, I'd like to hear your ideas

Thinking of the proposed cycles, the main differences seem to really be the shells. We know "Ebonite" seems to be a dense material, and it wouldn't be too far off to consider that the "E content" of a glyphid's chitin/shell can determine it's life.

The ebonite mutation is a thing on hoxxes, I'm just saying how it is claimed to be a natural silicate based molecule. Chitin does not contain any silicates on Earth. It could be theorized that they use ebonite as part of the mix, as chitin shells are more like concrete, not sheets.

The pale eggs are kinda what I'm going with. Most glyphids can lay these eggs on surfaces where conditions are right. Once opened, swarmers gather in wall deposits for energy conservation and protection while they develop. Their intake of hormones and Ebonite binder, determine what type of "grunt" they will become. Malnourished become exploders, Normal ones become grunts/other grunt tier.

I didn’t feel like finishing this, but it’s an attempt at some kind of mantis/shellback combo that I thought would be a cool idea; as it could be a well armoured creature but also comes with a grab attack at very close range. I feel like more Q’ronar creatures would be really neat (And yes, the mouth is on the “chest” rather than the head, somewhat similar to the shellbacks)

Scout and Driller are back from a mission in the vines biomes, and the Scout is full of thorns and splinters due to grappling in a zone full of brambles.
So the Driller is equiped with tweezers, desinfect the wounds with some beer, and weakens the pain with some cryo canon fluid, while Scout is somewhat crying while sipping a Leaf Lover's

Well I will be adding the bugs and maybe a raid event called a swarm, although good chance is that the mod will not be published until 1.17 drops for Minecraft, best time to take advantage of the new larger caves.
I got a video demo of redsugar healing the player when broken somewhere, but I'm on phone right now
Once I get at least one working entity in, which will be the swarmer to start with, production of the mod should speed up drastically, I think mactera will be the hardest to implement due to their flying nature, and maybe the bulk detonator

I have been asking mod Devs for some advice with some issues. But I think for now it will be a solo job, although I have not dropped the idea of a multi Dev team.
I think personally I would feel pretty redundant if there was a more skilled dev working with me on this mod
Plus I'm getting by with looking at other open source mods to see where I went wrong during development
You can learn a hell of a lot from merely looking through the code of other mods, u think that's where a majority of modders learn aspects of mod creation.
Although each mod Dev has a unique layout of their mod, so sometimes looking through mods is a bit of a maze.
