"FOR KARL!" ⛏️

i also have a special easter egg hidden in this as a tribute to the man himself "Mikkel Martin Pederson" you may know him for his work on DRG but i remember his older work called project dwarka so i leave this as a tribute to him and his old team on my pickaxe to honer the roots of what inspired DRG "for Dwarka" ⛏️

Prismacolors are very good quality
They layer very good too and have a huge range of colors you can get

Layering is easy as long as your paper is good quality for it so It doesn't like strip away any layers like it did with small. Parts of my drawing

I never count 😅 I can tell you, it takes approximately 12 hours (But im really not sure about this). It's in a large format, so I have the space to include a high level of detail. First, I ink the entire drawing, and then I colorize it with watercolor. The inking takes less time than the coloring process 🙂

The Glyphid Emperor:
One of the rarest of the glyphid species, except for mature queens, the Glyphid Emperor is a dangerous foe, even for the bug-stomping dwarves of DRG. When threatened, the Emperor can call upon nearby bugs to defend it, while making them significantly stronger than before.
It works like a warden, is armored like a dreadnaught, and it’s kill condition is reliant upon you killing off the bugs it spawns, and waiting for it to open its butt as a part of the summoning animation.

I play Tyranids, and I've decided I wanted to paint the bugs the same colors as the Glyphids and other creepy crawlies down in the mines, the army being dubbed "Hive Fleet Hoxxes". i used to just have my signature in a corner of whatever finished piece i had, but 1. it's easy to crop out and 2. sometimes signatures are hrd to read and i would rsther have my name be readable rather than pretty. i've also learned to blend them into focus points to prevent the crop-out thing (ФωФ)
this might be a weird take, but i like keeping the signatures super subtle because it's easy to catch reuploaders who skimmed past them since they're close to invisible. it's a little silly but it works :P

I present to you footage from the cartoon Deep Rock Galactic: Incineration of Infection.
This is the first part of something like a short film (not of studio quality and with stupid jokes) that touches on the author’s vision of how the dwarves dealt with the infection on Hoxses.
The first part is designed for 10 minutes, and I’ve been doing these 10 minutes for about 5 months now.
Anyway,
I'll try to finish it before the new season comes out. I’m not sure that it will get at least a few views, but I have to close this gestalt and see if this project is worth doing further.

The layers of a FDM print make perfect hiding places for germs. You can take steps to compensate for that (like coating the print with epoxy). Think through what you're doing carefully.
