i tried getting it as close as possible, but its a bit difficult because of angles and such. the station was a pain for that reason

It's just these areas. The thickness of the pickaxe change between the red and the white background. The pommel is bigger on one side. And the text layout needs a tiny bit of work because the "D" of "and" and the "S" of "stone" are over the pickaxe. I think it can be solved quite easily by moving things around a bit to get more space for the text, and not having it go over the pickaxe.
It's just minor criticism, the piece is really well done and I love it 🙂

Due to rockpox destructive influence on Hoxxess ecosystems, DRG decided to activate the "Assertive flora reintegration protocol".
Freyr`s Wisper shoots out seeds of rapidly growing genetically modified plants. Different types of plants may create invigorating fumes, confuse glyphids or even create a powerful electric field. Direct hits at enemy will cause it to expire from intoxication to quickly become fertiliser for the most potent plants.
Talking to plants for increasing its performance was proven inefficient.

Fair point, I had considered adding some speech/thought bubbles; it's mostly inside jokes between my friends what is going down. But, I can explain:

Engineer is already out of ammo for his lok-1.
Gunner is a character with a sentient tail with a mouth. He's wrestling said tail for a bullet for his auto cannon, and has brilliantly duct taped his revolver to his tail as well, rendering it essentially useless.
Driller is throwing axes at the scout.
Scout is trying to protect Steeve from the driller's throwing axes.
Steeve is oblivious to anything that is happening.

I know im super late to this, but you can use a Ethyl acetate vapor to smooth it (for PLA), and afterwards perhaps you could use a sealant of some sort to make it functional? just a thought 😮

I've talked with someone, and I think xtc-3d will smooth it over with a glossy finish while strengthening it. It is exothermic tho, meaning I need to handle it with extreme caution while coating it. That said, I'll update the progress pics when I get the parts welded together and stuff

Baking soda and pva. It works pretty well for what I want

The more subdue colours for the pants and details really make the fists stand out a lot too. Great choice.

So uh, for one of my final projects this semester. For my procedural animation class i went with recreating an asset from one of my favorite games.

If I had anything to say improvements-wise, the particles all move at the same speed, making it look like the particles are just a texture on some flattened sphere. Perhaps some particles should be slightly faster and some slower? Break up the shape.
