I didnt really like the aesthetic and model for the infected bugs for season three so I'm modeling an alternative model in my interpretation on how the infection affects the bugs. In my interpretation on how the bugs are affected, I think they're transformed into walking seeds that bury themselves somewhere far to spread the infection without the help of the crystal based on how their skin being almost bulletproof if you don't shoot their special weakpoints and how the infection spreads through some sort of spore emitter. heavily wip

Breaking them also hinders the beast’s ability to spread infectious spores, though, so it might just be worth shooting them down. Be sure to hit the blisters on it’s back and especially the one on it’s face… it’s a bit tougher than the other blisters, and appears to be growing over the creature’s eyes.

Idea I had: Precursor Archaeology
DRG has learned that they weren't the first sapient group to set foot on Hoxxes: A much older civilization once lived on the planet. Deep Rock Galactic has begun archaeology expeditions to key sites to find out who they were, what happened to them, and if they have anything useful.
Unfortunately, the Precursors don't seem to keen on anyone picking through their leftovers...

Concept for a Glyphid Mauler

Thought of something similar to a mix between the Oppressor and possibly the Hiveguard Sentinels?

Idea is that similar to how the Dreadnaughts are awakened in their premature stage, these could possibly be found in smaller caccoons during expeditions with a new secondary objective of 'Clear Nesting Grounds'(Or something) where a few Mauler caccoons [and maybe a Dreadnaught caccoon at higher hazards] could be found.

I'll try making a colored version later.

So I saw this in a fever dream last night and uh.

So basically it goes a bit like this. They finish a swarm and driller takes scouts resupply, so scout goes out to look for some red suger. At the bottom of a pit he sees some of the stuff. It's a darker shade than usual, but doesn't think of it. He grappled down and mines it. The ground starts rumbling and a pit opens up. He looks forward and sees a behemoth of a rock. It had six arms, seems part stabber vine, part rock. This... Thing also had bulb things on 2 of its arms. They open up and launch a yellow spore thing at scout, and it leaves a toxic cloud where they hit. The rest of the team who fell down the hole immediately start shooting at it, but the bulling just ping off its thick rocky armour. Gunner looks down to see he's being dragged down into ground by tendrils the rock seems to be controlling. Driller sees this, and hesitates. Bad choice. One of its spiked claw arms pierce through drillers chest, and he starts to decay like a glyphid corpse. Engineer starts trying to shoot his platforms to get out of this pit, as he's doing this, a spore shot heads directly for him, incapacitating the engi, and he gets dragged into the mouth of this beast. "So this is how Karl died..." Said scout, the last one left to battle this monster

The armour and arms I found online for free from a STL database that are based off terminator armour I believe. The shoulder plates, pickaxe, and emblem I made by myself. The yelling head was also found online.

my dad printed me a golden lootbug (but without the coin hole), and it's the exact color of the little fellas, and so I painted his eyes the right color, added some extra sparkle, and gave him the name Larry, and now he lives on my dresser and I pat him every day.
