it goes like this beta will come out monday/tuesday to test out new framework then if all goes well they might do a beta of update 32 and new framework should fix multiplayer problems and new framework will be in update 32
we have 2 updates right now but the most important one to test out is the beta so it will be tested and it should work depending on how many people test it

Sorry if it's been mentioned but has there been any further talk on the crossplay connection issue? I had an anomaly of a day yesterday while playing with an xbox friend and we actually completed one mission and a deep dive then now today its gone back to disconnects.

The framework the game is built upon has been completely replaced. This should improve a lot of issues, including connection issues. The beta version of the update that includes these changes has been submitted to Microsoft, and there will be a message in this channel when it becomes available for testing, which is expected any day now. Since it's a beta, it should be a separate download with a separate save file which will allow users to test the changes and make sure issues have been resolved without creating new issues

i just wanna mention that disconnects can absolutely be because the host left the game, or crashed, or has a small internet outtage. We have also tried to implement a system so if you lose internet for a short while, you wont disconnect

Hi, I don't know if this would be the right chat but I'm on the windows 10 version and I can never do any multiplayer. I can't connect to 90% of server games and when I get into one after about 2 minutes it just says either multiplayer session ended or connection lost when neither of those two things are really happeningm could someone help me out please?

6 consecutive launches with no crashes. However, I can confirm that changes to settings are not being saved (but "progress" and purchased cosmetics are saved) and sometimes navigating the settings category tabs in the Options screen only works via keyboard and clicking the tabs does nothing while the tab mouseover sound repeats indefinitely

which specific settings? the game saves foreks when changing character or buying something, so try doing that after, and see if it works

I did make character changes (bought and equipped a beard) after making settings changes just to be sure. Character setup persists, but Show FPS and Show Network Stats reverted as did the custom graphics settings. Every time I load I see the defaults for graphics, which I've switched to custom all Ultra except Shadows on High

I'm not sure if changing settings triggers the game to save (it should) but I know that buying cosmetics/changing character causes the game to save

So character changes did save, but it didn't seem to save the Settings I changed before making character changes

Every time I load up DRG my settings are saved but in insider they are not saving
I hate changing screen resolution every time I load up insider beta from 1440 to 2160 screen general build of it always on 2160 when loading it up

@I managed to load up the Beta just fine, unlike the problems Nibs was saying when he first tried to launch. I only enters the game tutorial and looked through settings and as I said, the only issue is the mouse behaviour is weird in the GAMEPLAY section.
