I had someone call in the drop pod early during extraction and move it half way up, almost like they had a developers menu to move things around and they froze the enemies in place once spawned but that was about 5 to 7 updates ago.

Windows build supporters DLC didn’t work for about 3-4 days they tested it left and right but the problem was they didn’t test it on a clean install so they had to release a hotfix to get it to work on windows build and that triggered the update to go on Xbox to support crossplay version numbers.

@valid saddle the account that actually own the game license is the only one you can use on PC as far as I'm aware. Xbox has game sharing so other accounts can play your games as long as you're profile is signed in on the Xbox. You could try signing into the Xbox App on your PC with the account you want to use on the PC but it might give you an error message when you try to launch DRG if that account doesn't have any licenses for it.
but to answer your question the Xbox app on Windows is where you go to change DRG profiles

Nahh, Error Cubes give 2k experience, which in most cases is double the secondary objective. Also subject to all mission modifiers. Haz4 with max complexity and length with a level 3 hazard and 4 surviving dwarves Wis +190% experience, 290% total. Throw a double XP Mutator in there and in a perfect mission it's 580%. Totaling 11,600 xp
They're a great way of getting excess of 30k xp, and also making people think you're a hacker apparently

So, we need to have the full version (1.0) wrapped up soon, because it needs to go through a longer cert process now that it's not going to be in Game Preview anymore
some of it starts now, so it will be easier
A year ago Microsoft automated their cert process (and caused some issues with update 24, I think it was), but after that it's been faster to get things through. Now we're going back to the old model where people sit on the other end certifying the Xbox version, since it will be a full product and the ceritification is stricter.

Until very recently, Microsoft wanted a closed system they could control, and they unified the Windows Store and Xbox platforms behind a wall from other systems. The Xbox/Windows Store uses the Xbox backend to allow multiplayer, while the Steam version uses the Steam backend, and the two systems do not talk to each other... yet. Recently Microsoft has had a change of mind about things like crossplay and Steam integration, so it's possible that something could happen in the future, but it's pretty much up to both Steam and Microsoft to agree on it. The only other option would be for GSG to make their own system for multiplayer that doesn't rely on Steam or Microsoft, but that's asking to reinvent multiplayer that's already working

I think it's been a little less than a year since Microsoft committed to working with Steam and relaxing the Windows Store requirement of all apps being built on the UWP architecture. I'm not sure of the time frame for everything, but they are working on it
At that point, at least in theory, the Steam version could be uploaded to the Windows Store. But I have to imagine some work would be necessary to unify friends lists unless (ideally) Steam and Microsoft handle that themselves

I'm familiar with the game. I'd have already picked it up if it was crossplay with Xbox (got a friend who only has a console for the foreseeable future). I'm curious how they do the crossplay with Steam when it comes out there. It sounds like they want to make it happen, but haven't committed in case it's complicated to deliver. Only full commitment I've seen so far is save files will be compatible between Epic and Steam

Directx 11 is widely used in almost all games, with directx 12 being used in some games aka Microsoft store version
If the game in this case is DRG it uses UWP which requires directx 12 by Microsoft
Directx 11 is more performance friendly while directx 12 is more video intensive vs performance
From research I did. If a company makes their game DX12 only (hardware level dx) and you don't have a true DX12 (hardware level) card then you won't be able to run their software.
On the other hand I've seen plenty of companies that make their game have support for DX9, DX10, DX11 etc so that more people can buy it and run it.

I think coders are going to be busy with this bug fix. To reproduce it just use Xbox controller and press a button repeatedly during loading screen to get multiple dwarf pictures until game crashes

Your idea of a dwarf-extraction mission is something that feels like it could fit into the game. Let's let the people making it determine if it is a thing they want and the rules surrounding it
However, making dwarf AI sounds like a non-trivial issue
Pathfinding couldn't just share the bug AI, unless you want to save creepy dwarves that can crawl up walls and on the ceiling like bugs

Another mission type could be DRG was doing experimental stuff on dwarfs and they made a super dwarf that’s gotten out of control and your job is to go into a cave find it and kill it and find evidence of anything out of the ordinary and extract
Almost like dreadnought missions but last a little longer finding clues on how to stop the spread of it
Is it a virus that’s airborne affecting dwarfs or could it be the gold dwarfs are mining
