It's a very complex game, but contrary to what most people think, it's not impossible to learn. It's just that it's a hardcore game. It's hard core in the knowledge you want to develop, the studying and understanding of mechanics, and the bottomless depths of content available...

I did that one for a forum thread on the spore forums about making low tech (by sci-fi standards) ships.
