I'm honestly surprised to hear that. But four is understandable, I think it sets a terrible precedent that your choices ultimately don't matter in Fallout 4. And they really really don't

It blows my mind that they fucked this up because even from the first Fallout game. I think everybody had a voice except you. Everybody else can have a voice, why can't you? And the answer is simple, because you're supposed to be the voice, or you at least are supposed to imagine what your character sounds like

I don't know, I think if you took Fallout 4 in a vacuum fine I guess. I don't know maybe I am letting public opinions sway me a little but when I played Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 I just remember barely being hooked on anything at all, the side missions didn't really matter to me other than extra EXP. But to be fair to Fallout 3 I haven't played everything including the DLC is, or I guess Fallout 4 is DLC is but I don't know if I want to touch that for a while

But I feel like I would just remember most things it's just events that kind of happened. Rather than New Vegas having me be dropped into another intricate rabbit hole every 35 m

It makes me sad how few PvE co-op games actually exist now that have actual mechanical depth to them because so many co-op games now are of the "friendslop" genre. Like those games are allowed to exist but it's just sad it seems to have come at the cost of a lot of mechanically rich co-op games

Like off the top of my head I can really only think of like... Drg and GTFO for the most part
