I have found an use for generative ai in theory, not using it as source of "producing" things but it is like an printer, an very special sparingly used printer that copies something that no longer exists or its owner of art itself uses it to copy its own art for inspiration. Lemme give an example: Some very old early 2000's games are impossible to reverse engineer from lost media so one guy was using generative ai to copy very old 3d models that never existed but now they do.
