No, like actually never. Hytale might do well longterm, but Minecraft has been one of the most popular games of all time for years now. Updates have been lacking, but they aren't losing that status anytime soon. I don't even think Hytale could beat out Minecraft's modding scene alone tbh

Hytale is very minecraft adjacent, but i don't know if it'll ever hit Minecraft level of numbers. even with MC on the decline, it was a cultural phenomenon... Hytale's just the latest version of it.

Don't get me wrong, i wish them the best. but people severely underestimate the scope of how far and wide MC has recognition.
