I returned to Nioh a little bit ago, i didn't realise how much i robbed myself of my own experience by playing this like a souls game

In a weird way, it feels like a PS2 game in the best way possible. Its so ambitious and complex while having relatively simple systems. But i swear, the more you play the game, the more it evolves. I also adore how equal alot of the enemies feel despite you being human and can easily die fast. But the human/oni-human enemies are so much fun. some share alot of the same moves as you do but they all have the same stamina/stagger bar you do, even the way enemies narrowly dodge a devastating finisher like i would desperately do. I cannot stress enough how much i love games that put AI and the player on the same playing ground, playing by the same rules. Even if they have their own unique quirks
