the i number that is always odd, (i3, i5, i7, i9), is basically a performance bracket i3 being the lowest for basic computing, and i9 being at the top for enthusiasts, and the gen number is quite literal, its the generation of the cpu they've made, a higher generation was made newer and will preform better then older ones because the underlying technology has improved, were currently on 14th generation

Iirc Hollow Knight reserved two mask damage for like, telegraphed massive attacks or the special boss variants
Meanwhile you walk for 5 minutes in Silksong and the first boss you fight has double damage

idk, if it at least telegraphs that it’ll prolly do 2 Mask damage (which becomes very quick to acclimate to assuming everything does in Silksong), I don’t mind it too much

I just didn’t like that it was one of the bosses that could summon minions however many times it wanted, and it was RNG layered over more RNG

Contact damage for a boss as simple and aggressive as savage beastfly is reasonable imo, it’s attacks are very simple and with practice pretty easy to avoid. However, when you stagger it, you should have the right to kick it’s filthy ass without risking all your health
