but the bridge lake will always be THE spot

a good tip for that, is to go into the Market, the store console on the orbiter, and go looking for blueprints that are available there

there's tons of BP that you can buy for credits and use parts from everywhere else to help build tons of weapons

If I were you, i'd focus on getting as deep and as far into the star-chart as possible

And the quests and story are really teh central and amazing parts of the game, less so on the open world.

knowing what I know about the endgame (or lack thereof) i'd say the best thing is to enjoy the story, go along for the ride, see the sights.

getting bogged down in Thermia Fractures on Fortuna or Ghoul events on Cetus really is later-stage grind.

DE's placement of those elements in the progression wasn't as well thought out as they'd like to believe.

building a Railjack is immensely cheaper than it used to be, and quests like New War just giving you a necramech instead of sending you on a whole side adventure getting THAT DAMN NECRATHENE-

Ghouls, not really... it's a common enough event... the one you want to be on the look out for is the Plague Star event.

New War has a... maybe 5 minute segment where you have to use a Necramech, a, well, mech you have to assemble yourself
except they realised "forcing players to go build this thing for a five minute segment is stupid" so you get a loaner for that quest specifically

Veterans will flock to the event and run it basically non-stop because you can grind out hundreds of fully assembled Forma from the rewards. You also have a chance at the Plague set of Zaw heads, which are very rare.

Exodia Contagion and Exodia Epidemic are also ridiculous arcanes to have full sets of

Arcanes are a bit of a headache you need to go on a bit of a grinding/buying spree for, depending on the arcane
useful ones include Energize, which does exactly what you think it does

you can optionally do Duviri content, but if you're not into the idea of it, that's kinda okay too
