Soldier, even in his stock form, is a jack-of-all-trades. Easy to pick up, hard to truly master, especially when you throw rocket jumping into the equation.

His chonky health pool and rocket launcher make him a pretty good frontline fighter. However, his rocket jumping allows him to be a menace who can come from basically anywhere. Even the flanks might not be safe as you could be bumrushed by a soldier with a shotgun. He's got solid damage at a lot of ranges.

His roles: Cause problems, whether its on the frontline, the flank or even from the skies. He may not truly have mastered his damage types like Scout with the scattergun or Demo with the Grenade Launcher, but he's still a versatile bastard who will be a constant thorn in your side.

Pyro is... interesting to talk about. Their primary, the flamethrower, is a weird one, even by TF2 standards. It's a sustained fire weapon but it's also not a hitscan weapon. It deals damage in two ways with one dealing damage over time. Hell, the particles are an absolute mess as they do persist for a bit and touching one will ignite you.

And then, there's airblast. This is the fun part, as it allows Pyro to be not quite as versatile as Soldier, but allows him to play a much more defensive role, being able to push around enemies, reflect projectiles and even extinguish teammates.

Pyro's roles? Flanking, igniting groups of enemies to whittle down their health and helping to defend against the enemy team, whether it's reflecting their grenades and rockets, pushing them into a bad position or tracking down and toasting any frenchmen.

He is... remarkably powerful, even in base form. Four grenades in his primary, eight in his secondary, both hitting like a truck. He can tear your team apart if you're not careful.

Demo's speciality is blowing things up and with his grenades doing 100 damage on a direct hit and his stickies having a base damage of 103 - 138, it is very easy for him to do so. Two pipes will kill eight of the nine classes and even then, it only takes a third to kill Heavy. His traps are also nothing to sneeze at, nor his stickyjumping. It's not as flexible as rocket jumping but still hurls him across the map.

Demo's Roles? Tearing the enemy team apart, tearing enemy buildings apart and boobytrapping chokepoints to tear any unfortunate bastards apart. Just... don't get bumrushed.

Heavy in his stock form is... not as powerful as he is with the Sandvich. He's still a guy with 300 health and a goddamn minigun, so don't underestimate him. He's not exactly fast nor is he really able to dodge shots, but his health pool does push him over some thresholds.

The Minigun is a fucking monster at close range, basically being an auto-shotty in design. Multiple shots per ammo fired very quickly. Long ranges are not particularly easy to attack from, but even some chip shots may hit.

Heavy's role? Being a big damn threat with a big damn gun, mowing down the enemy team and serving as an anchor in a teamfight.

Engineer. A honky-tonk texan with a big brain and a big turret.

Engie is a squishy fellow, but he is not defenseless. FAR from it. His buildings help to keep him alive and kill people, but he himself has a shotgun and pistol. He's fairly slow and like I said, squishy, but his shotgun hits pretty hard and his pistol lets him chip you down from a distance.

His buildings are what makes him truly special, as they allow him to lock down an area with his sentry, supply his team with his dispenser and cut down travel time with the teleporters. They serve as an extension of himself just as much as he is an extension of them.

Engineer's roles? Keep cheeky shits from pushing into your backlines, provide your team with a convenient source of ammo and health and cut down travel time to the frontlines to aid in keeping the team from getting pushed back.

Medic! His stock form is uh... a wee bit neutered compared to him having unlocks.

I will be very blunt. Medic doesn't really have a role outside of keeping the team alive. His primary is shit for that exact reason as to avoid a repeat of the phenomena of Medics being a power class like in TFC. Doesn't stop people regardless and hey, more power to them.

Medic's medigun patches up damage and if your patient is at full health, it even applies overheal which certainly helps in a fight. Of course, the crème de la crème of Medic's abilities is his ubercharge. Full damage immunity for 8 seconds may not sound like a long time but that's an eternity in TF2. Just... be careful, you're the enemy team's number one target.

Medic's roles? Keeping the team patched up, toughening them up with overheal and when the time is right, breaking through a defensive hold with the aid of your ubercharged patient.

Sniper is the funny piss slinging bushman, except in this case he doesn't have jarate. His rifle is one of if not the most deadliest weapons in the game and it's all because of one thing. Headshots.

Headshots are a very skill-based mechanic and are surprisingly complex. Sure, you can just focus on charging up your shots to full power and smite whoever your dot is currently focused on but quickscopes are where the real meat and potatoes of Sniper lay. The ability to scope in, pick someone off from across the map and repeat the process is... well there's a reason people don't really like Sniper.

His roles? Precision elimination and putting the fear of God into people locking down sightlines, even if said sightlines are occasionally very goofy. Looking at you, Sawmill.

Spy is... very complex. Backstabs, disguises, cloaking, taking down Engineer nests, trickstabs and a LOT more. He's probably tied in complexity with his texan nemesis. Hell, they serve as a foil for one another, with one using his buildings to support his team and the other sneaking in to destroy the enemy from without.

Spy exists to be a thorn in the side of the enemy team. Being a sneaky fuck and instakilling unaware or hell, even aware players makes him an excellent distraction. Driving people crazy is his speciality and a good spy is very likely to either attract a lot of attention with their antics or royally screw with the enemy team's plans without them realising before it's too late.

Spy's roles? Taking out high priority targets, destroying engineer nests and most importantly, being a persistent pain in the ass that draws away attention from your team.

Anyways, you run a shop in the zombie apocalypse where 9-volt batteries are currency. I had a customer hold out on me trying to buy a 15 battery wine but was 1 short, so I killed her, looted the body and discovered she was carrying 300 batteries. I can’t believe it, a shop game where you can become more rich by killing your customers.

Some ghoul perks allow you to take in more rads
Any mutations you have stay with you
Food buffs still work

There’s more but I can’t remember off-top of my head.
