I don't mean to keep being a downer but I am trying to justify my enjoyment for Darktide which I otherwise love gameplay-wise
"Fix" is a very optimistic word for the narrative direction. Comparing to the two campaigns the same company made for a previous game for half-or-less the price, it at least puts into perspective the former Reputation cutscenes with the way they've ordered the missions...

But reorganizing the events we've already seen before with putting maybe a paragraph's worth of dialogue at the ends of 'em is all that they've done. Though the Wolfer origin cutscene is new to me, and I don't have any problems with that unless it was also a trailer for some new update or w/e.

They're still loosely connected, especially with the extra disconnected parts thrown in between with little follow-ups (The Repair mission in the Campaign, the other Repair missions not in the Campaign, and the Ascension Riser), and they're still more or less vague or very teasing about stuff that really should've released with 1.0.

Granted, I don't know about the development of VT2 after it's own release, but I have no doubt of the idea or claims that supposedly Darktide and VT2 followed this pattern of releasing a rushed and buggy product (I got a permanent black screen after finishing the DT Campaign :( ), shoved full of microtransactions and pulled a Sea of Thieves / No Man's Sky / Cyberpunk 2077 before it was cool
Which is a practice I disapprove of, and one I am unwilling to support with my wallet. (I have this game technically for free, Game Pass)

But the main idea is that the Blitz Buff for Mindburst stacks with multiple Blitzes

So I basically put down both my walls simultaneously and start Brain Blasting the Monstrosity with 5x speed and that much reduced cost lmao
