Landing on an organic enemy with lethal velocity should absorb most of your fall damage and transfer it to the enemy. Absorption and transfer is either reduced or entirely mitigated depending on how armored the part you land on is, so you need to be careful.
Could lead to some funny gameplay, no other reason. Maybe add an achievement related to it? To balance it, perhaps have the mechanic locked behind a passive perk.
consider adding new items to the shop? personally i got about 5k of phazyonite but habe bouth everything out long before it was introduced

it doesn't feel good to be able to predict what is going to happen by
- waiting next to a pipe for it to break because you see that the other pipes broke twice
- know how long until you reach the core with doretta because you know that there's going to be 2-3 open caves before get to core
- 2 mins passed surprise, a swarm (this is literally a wiki entry that you can time swarms by difficulty)
- fights in general are extremely predictable, events that can happen during it will only happen at the start. meteors
- some biomes are predictable generation; beyond it being a theme because of it being jarring when blended. it feels like a set piece that there's the one that is a large tunnel room forming a T that is 2 layers (it's like round a wall in the middle you can run across or be on bottom layer) ; then it opens into a winding tunnel + large cavern at the end at the sections of the T. terrain is purple
if you pay any attention you can pick up that the caves are pregenerated shapes and you can see the terrain generated around it. add more "nodes" that spawn assets if continue to do this - you generally know the layout of the mission by knowing what type of mission it is. oil extract will always be a large cavern with 1-2 farther away maybe requiring drilling, etc

I already suggested this but it got buried. Higher levels of beast master should allow you to tame more advanced creatures. For exampls, level 2 would allow you to tame all medium sized creatures, this includes grunts, spitters, and stingtails. Level 3 would allow you to tame praetorians. Level 4 would allow you to tame an opressor, and level 5 would allow you to tame a dreadnought (requires 3 uses, so you'd have to keep it alive) and creatures infected by rockpox. Higher levels would also allow you to tame more medium sized creatures. You'd have up to 5 points. Grunts and spitters would be worth 1 point, any creature infested with rockpox would cost 2, praetorians would cost 3, opressors 4, and dreadnoughts would cost 5 points.

In a rare event hosted by the union to reward miners, Longbeard Freight sends in a delivery ship to offer upgrade chips for their terminals; crafting, additional slots for killing machines and all that nonsense. But here's the thing; a damn space rock hit the ship and scattered those chips in pieces! If you can find the matching pieces of circuitry, you can reforge the chip and unlock some pretty nifty stuff
(Cosmetic and loadout slots would get a 10-ish cap)
Change radiation effect:
Currently radiation is a very bland effect that’s only used in like 2 overclocks and in 1 biome. Id like it to be changed so that it can have some unique uses. However I’ll be putting down 2 different ideas
Tumor growth:
This is largely based off the overclock blistering necrosis. A full radiation bar should spawn 2-5 breakable weak points with a 2 times damage modifier.
Exoskeletal breakdown:
this one will completely strip a bug of all breakable armor when given a full radiation bar. Ofc the radiation effect would also have to be given a faster time to effect for enemies.
The impact of this is it will allow for more unique weapons and overclocks to come from this status type. Driller radiation gun. Have some of the uranium in the minigun shots not be spent etc
An old war aka modern day earth style weapon framework for certain weapons ie m1000 and you could make it ww2 themed as well but be careful them humans aren’t exactly nice

TF2 crossover which adds the Ghostly Gibbus and Pyrovision Goggles as cosmetics. even allowing both to be used at the same time
Make leeches be aggressive towards other fauna like Glyphids, Hexawing Gniffers in the Azure Weald, Mactera etc. to make them seem less like a clump of meat that just really really hates dwarves and more like an actual dangerous predator. Perhaps even make enemies attack it after they see one of their comrades get brutally massacred by it.
A sniper rifle weapon/turret for engineer. I don't like how he has no long ranged options.
The ability to swap out missions for certain characters for others. For example, I have a weapon mission for engineer that I want to swap out for the M1000 mission.

Enjoy a great game with a group of randoms? want to thank that gunner that kept getting you back up? buy them a beer so the next time they go to order off lyod they get a nice message saying a player paid for their round.
Suggestion for ppl posting in lfg: Please mention where you are hosting from. That way people will not join a game only to find out they have 200 ping!
Edit: Or introduce a role system so people can know which region a host is from by checking their tags.
An option in the settings menu that would do so you get a little pop-up whenever someone else pings you to make it more noticeable.
It would make it easier for engineers to notice whenever a scout is losing their mind while pinging them to platform some Nitra.
Dystrum should appear in more missions instead of rarely in only 2 types. Or at least have its purpose explained. Like how morkite is very valuable and theres 2 missions around them. We know nothing of dystrums purpose or value.

Add a voiceline for ordering the leaf lover’s special that is so loud everyone on the space rig will hear it, it would be funny to try and sneakily order a leaf lover to sober up, and then everyone hears “CAN I GET ONE OF THOSE LEAF LOVER’S SPECIALS? I REALLY LOVE LEAF LOVER’S SPECIALS!”
If you drink more than 2 leaf lovers, you may see mission controls comms popup, say "..." then close without hearing any words
if you jump back into the drop pod while its leaving you gain an achivement called, "you know what? im worth more than this" and the command tells you that you are a disappointment for leaving the mission and you lose 1k credits

why can you get overclocks for characters that you don't even have promoted??
At the very least have it so when you promote a character you only get overclocks FOR THAT CHARACTER.
An option to make hoverboots activate on their own before taking (tremendous) fall damage instead of letting the C key slip away and call for molly instead

Quality of life feature: allow players to recover lithofoamers and lithovacs (that aren't currently held by another player) by interacting with the dispenser. This would be handy in case someone accidentally drops it in a pit or you're struggling to find it in the chaos.
maybe it would be OP but i think that the resupply should round up for the satchel charges, its annoying having to use three resupplies instead of two for that weapon
Add some more colorful red sugar counterparts that either give you no health for a buff or damage you.
Yellow- Lootbug piss. Would make your dwarf question what thye just digested and they'd be in a drunken state for a short while. This would be found where lots of loot bugs would basically be, If there's around 4-5 of them, there may be a chance to find this alternate version of red sugar here.
Orange- Fire resistant but in turn when it wears off makes you more vulnerable to the cold on the next mission since you were so heated and not used to any other condition. May be found in the magma biome since there's a lot of fire and stuff there.
Green- Poisonus due to the toxic fumes. Maybe if a predaectarian vomits on a red sugar, it has a chance to turn the red to a lime greenish color, and whenever you break it, it breaks up into gasses which damages you. I think this would also be found more frequently in the fungal area since, fumey.
Pink- Regenerative abilities, might seem broken but it's like super rare. I'd say the percentage would be way lower than 1% to find a pink one that regenerates your health in a moderate amount of time besides instantly refilling it. A nice addition for those in a tough spot and need constant heals with no red sugar in sight too, just have to be lucky.

How about a secret mission or easter-egg dedicated to Karl himself? With a achievement as well for those who brave this challenge and have deemed themselves among the (nearly) same level as the legend himself,
Since there's all this talk about how Karl was somehow left behind fighting glyphids on hoxxes with a pickaxe and what not, how about we issue the challenge for only the grizzled veterans of the game?
Those who know exactly how to take down any glyphid with ease and under the pressure, one that doesn't use their primary or secondary and not even their special fancy schamncy grenades either?
Nay. Only a true dwarf knows how to swing a pick, and kill with it too.
Somehow land the final killing blow on a dreadnought with a pickaxe. Once you have done that, you'd start the easter egg on becoming a legend yourself. I don't know the full details myself on how this would continue but if the evs and smartie pants of DRG wanna make it official, its all yours.
All I know is that for a reward of such epicness, possibly a new type of pickaxe skin that would show just how badass you were on taking on your foes with the might of your pickaxe clashing their skuls and squishy parts.
Maybe some carved letters too with the Initals K. at the end, signaling that Karl used to own the very same pickaxe in your hands?
So here's another thought, how about a way to decorate our cabins with some nice figurines?

In similar fashion to Randoweisser, it's a beer with a randomization element. What it does is that it has a 50% chance of doing nothing but a tiny confetti effect, no drunkness added. Or the other 50% chance of just immediately knocking you out faster than a knockout stout
In a way it's this games /coinflip, so if you want to make a bet or need to make a decision for say, choosing a mission, you can order one and then bet on that you either stand or you get knocked out. Or you can be less practical and have competitive drinking games with friends to see who can get the furthest without getting knocked out.
I think it'd be funny where drinking it will cause a brief drum roll before either being unscathed or getting knocked out, and each time you dont get knocked out, the anticipating drumroll gets a little longer. Which resets if you do end up getting knocked.
With how much more loot the Cargo Crates have than Lost Gear I think they should be more common

Hey, so I'm not sure if this has been asked got before, but would it be possible to make it possibleto call down a cleansing pod for the Rockpox Corruptor from a distance? Perhaps by clicking RMB while tagging it? It just feels like a bit of a pain having to get close and possibly damaged by it just to call down equipment to fight it.
Give Driller a Bee Gun.
Shoots out an almost shotgun blast of individual bees that each will fly and bounce around,with a slight homing effect, until they latch on to a target or they expire.
Then they sting the enemy until they expire, probably having a chance / build up a small percentage of a certain debuff like neurotoxin, or maybe pheromones if you so choose.
Some cool overclocks could be:
Big Bee: Shoots a really big strong bee for you instead of shooting out the little guys, but big ben bee is slow, but also has hp instead of automatically expiring after a couple seconds. And also it takes a second or two to get the bee’s fat ass out of the gun barrel. Also less bees (ammo)
Parasitic Bee: the bees now also inject a flesh eating baby bee parasite that matures into, you guessed it, more bees that shoot out when the target dies. Downside? Uh, idk, the bees expire faster because of the immense amount of war crimes they are committing.
And the last one I could think off
Robot bees. Last longer, attack faster, and explode into electricity when they die. But, uh, you can’t have more than 1 swarm (1 shot) out at a time because other wise it will over load the A.I. controlling them? Yeah, sounds about right.
So yeah, give driller a bee gun. This game needs more bug on bug violence.
Edit: if it wasn’t clear, this is meant to be a primary weapon.

In 300 missions I only encountered two Rival Communications Router, I think it's a pretty fun minigame wish it was more common
Make mixing the sludge (Sludge Pump full ammo reload animation) actually do something. Like change color of the sludge or smoothen it a tiny little bit. It'd be a nice little detail

Plascrete launcher
Like the platform gun but just chunk of plascrete, so you can make walls and block off cave enterances and stuff
Add a glasses section in the wardrobe so that we could wear sunglasses with certain headgears like the mining helmet or other hats and haircuts
When menaces surface and don't find a target, instead of immediately burrowing back down it wanders around for a few seconds before tunnelling.
i think they should make all the cosmetics obtainable. i hate limited time cosmetics, people praise this game for not having that even though it does. edit: i should specify im not talkign about the holiday stuff. im talkign about the aniversary hats, the beta hat ( which is as unethical as pre order bonuses ) and the steam award hat
Not sure if this was said already but I feel like adding a new mission where you could possibly clean or repair the ship would be fun? Yeah it wouldnt earn much or anything but its a new take and seeing how the taking over due to the tentacles is happening, preventing them from doing so would be cool in my opinion

They are time limited, but they always return the next year. So even if you miss something, you can still get it next time
i think turret arc should have an interaction with the upgraded mono turret instead of being of no use
- If a MKII turret is shot a medium sized (3.5m?) electric field will appear around it, electrocuting enemies that go through it
meanwhile em discharge could also have a slight change when used on MK2's like a discharge range increase
Cosmetic unlocks should be for all 4 classes, not per class. This artificially extends the cosmetic grind, and makes it even more difficult for players to get all the items they want without spending (I calculate) 2k hours to get just about everything.

Firing Range
Especially In the late game with the unlimited possibilities of overclock and mod combinations, I think a firing range being added to the space rig would be absolutely fantastic.
Even with a seperate loading area to avoid weird coding issues, having a large open area with a terminal where you can spawn any type of bug and a terminal where you can change your loadouts. Then, you and your friends can show off their new gun cosmetics and test out new mod combinations to get a real feel for what they are like before entering the dropship.
You could even cosmetically make the area's perimeter full of those containment chambers recently put in the med bay, to make it look like all the bugs are being grown and bred in the tubes to be summoned.

Throw out a mine that releases a high pitched screech, stunning most bug enemies in a medium sized radius.

Driller: Handful o minlets
Throw out handful of small minlets. Each minlet deals 5-10 damage. Throw about 10 minlets per handful.
Can hold 7 handfuls.
Engineer: Hypercharged stake
Throw a stake that embeds itself into terrain. After imbedding itself, it zaps all enemies in a small radius. The lightning deals 15-20 damage.
Can hold up to 3.
On a serious note, lowering dialogue audio defaults and raising ambient sound defaults. Anyone on default settings is being deafened.
Recently there have been an influx of issues regarding griefing and trolling in the community. While it is impossible to avoid, I am starting to feel that the minimal systems and tools for hosts could be improved. I notice that you can ban a user, though if they leave your game they will be able to rejoin and there is no way to look for past team members to ban them from your lobby from in game. Best I can do is find them on steam and find their profile. Combine this with the fact that you can't ban/kick people at the end of the game (where most griefing and trolling happens by way of C4ing and/or shooting the last person in to kill them on the ramp) Having some way to at least ensure that the same people aren't allowed back in would be great, as most leave instantly on return as well, so you have to be really fast to catch them.
It might also be a good idea to have a way to report users as well, so that if they have a track record of playing just to C4 the rest of their party before extracting themselves something could be done so they aren't making life hell for anyone who wants to play in a public match. Reported users could have a countdown to wait out before joining a new match, or there could be a warning symbol on their profile to warn other users that they have been reported repeatedly for greifing. There are a few different ways to handle this without it resulting in a ban from online services, which would allow people to abuse the report function.
We used to be able to count on the community to not try to ruin the game for each other, at least to some extent, but sadly I fear those times are gone, which is why I often have to make do without the 3rd and 4th player if I am playing with a friend.
pinging loose mineral chunks on the ground should use the voicelines for that material rather than generic ones (i.e. if i point at a chunk of gold on the ground, my guy should say "There is gold here!" and not just "Found something!"), would make it easier to alert teammates about stuff i mined but am too full to pick up
pinging a dwarf should just say what dwarf they are playing rather than something that won’t get their attention

Being able to choose or have more control over which overclock we get when infusing blank cores would be awesome.
I came up with a few things
Petting the engineers sentry, achievement for perfectly hacking patrol bot, plagueheart driller weapon to match the effects it gives and like the engineer has the shard diffractor
Full helmets, neck guards, and any piece of headgear that could contain a microphone should overlay your voice lines with radio static, to be heard from any distance by all your teammates.
Maybe only when you're really far away though

Milspec armor paint job? It could be fun try to out more paint jobs for armor that looks clean, fresh, and sort of military-themed.
I would love to see a feature where you can make custom paint jobs.
Yes, the preset ones are awesome. However, not everyone has the time to get the one that they want. And the grind to do so, could be long and tedious, given the game’s RNG.
You could even make it super simple. Have a color slider, with 3 sections to pick colors for (Top, Middle, Bottom for Armor, Guns, Pickaxe, Bosco)
It can be very standard, just having base colors. This way, the preset color paint jobs can still be there, without the need of totally replacing them.
Active buffs have a countdown (instead of the static image that just disappears) just like the "Power Attack" recharge icon for pickaxe.
I would totally dig a wizard hat accessory to purchase for my dwarf (If this hasn't already been suggested).
Also, it may be a bit unpopular... but devs, if you read this, is there any chance you could look back over Lok-1's overclocks and mods, to rebalance them a bit? I really want to love the Lok-1, but it does admittedly feel like you can only use Executioner or Explosive Chemical Rounds as valid options. Personally, I'd love to see an overclock that is more aligned to the original goal of the gun's design: being perhaps weaker than other guns, but being accurate, and having the ammo capacity to not be outright beaten by Stubby's solid ammo reserves.

Pool Floats are so huge on the terrain scanner (i also love how horrifying they look when Bosco carries them), but why not let us adjust terrain scanner stuff scale ourselves? Like let us pick 5 various scales for our terrain scanner with normal being 2 or 3. This would also go well with other terrain scanner customization ideas, such as terrain color customization and maybe some scan modes, like normal and top-down (with terrain brightness marking height)

Can't be mined (except maybe by removing the ground around it) and you're just kind of suspended without falling when inside and move very slowly in whatever direction you're facing?
Don't feel too strongly about it, and the enemy pathing would probably still be a nightmare, but it's about as close as I can imagine DRG ever getting to "water" without having to overhaul the physics and map generation engine to allow for actual water.

Make Ebonite Grunts tamable and extra durable against enemies.
The machine event is pretty rare, not to mention it happening early in a dive and in conjunction with someone havng Beast Master. So while it wouldn't exactly be "balanced" it could be a neat little niche thing to have happen in a game.

When thrown to an ally, their shield cooldown is reduced to 0.5 seconds for a duration of 2.5 seconds. The length of the buff is doubled when applied within the gunner shield. If you miss, it can be picked up off the ground. Throw at feet to apply to yourself.
For the Scout, a localized friction eliminator.
Carry 2x
When thrown on a teammate, there speed is increased to the level of the dash perk and the ability to sprint is temporarily removed. This buff lasts for 5 seconds and can be stacked with dash. Throw at your feet to apply to oneself. Can be picked up off the ground.
For the Driller, a muscular strength inducer.

(This one is weird) when thrown down, creates an area 4.5 meters in diameter for one second that applies a buff granting one hit terrain, doubled pickaxe damage and double the area mined with a swing of the pick. Lasts for 8s. Please don’t tell management.
For the Engineer, a firearm safety inhibitor.

When thrown onto a teammate, grant a 5s buff to all weapons that (depending on each weapon) doubles fire rate, or halves charge speed. Can be thrown at your feet to apply to yourself. Can be picked up off the ground.
These were made hastily, so sorry if they’re super unbalanced. These were just some wacky ideas I had, but I think the idea of support-based grenades could be super cool for the game as a whole.

Ice and fire should not immediately cancel each other out when neither has reached full status, but still provide some kind of benefit like minor damage, damage over time ("frostburn" proportional to the amount of temperature being dissipated?), increased slow, stun, increased armor break or something else.
As it stands, freezing and heat are the biggest anti-synergy in the game right now, barring temperature shock, which only happens while the enemies are fully affected by one or the other.
My biggest issue with this is when people take frost-status effect inducing equipment into Industrial Sabotage and actively hurt my efforts to destroy robots with heat. While usually not a huge problem, it can still make some loadouts much more ineffective, which in turn makes it more frustrating than fun.

when encountering a dreadnought on a mission that isnt elim it should be a fully grown one and to defeat it you would need to call for an "ommoran core laser"(what engi has but the entire stone) it would be like a bet-C but with a cabin for a dwarf and a lens for the laser. once you hit the dreadnought it gets stunned and ripped of its impenetrable armour so it becomes a bit faster and starts being agresive and while its alive no swarm can happen and the ongoing swarm is stopped. Before you strip the armour its sheer weight will damage and kill any dwarf stupid enough to stand near it when it moves and its front legs will leave exploder sized holes in the ground(will not make hot hock in magma core) it will be also completly immune to slows and frost its attacks in this form are: magma chunk(spits out a rolling ball of magma that acts like a Q`ronar youngling that rolls randomly) , swarms madness(it roars with such might that it shakes the ground slowing everything in the cave and calls glyphid gunts to its location, 8 per dwarf).After the main armor layer is removed it bites a chunk out of the ground swells up its abdomen and shoots the "ommoran core laser" like a railgun(the dwarf is safely ejected).The second phase begins its additional attacks are: rock piercer(a rock like railgun that works similarly as gunners railgun ,if you do enough damage to its abdomen before he fires it flashes red and upon its attack it implodes and deals massive damage otherwise its an instant kill on all difficulties also its terrain piercing is 2 m and can be dodged with jumping) ,devastation( it heats up its front legs and smashes to the ground and makes a giant hole while turning solid rock into magma), hell on hoxxes( he shrivels up and releases enourmous ammouts of heat in an area of 5 m takes about 7 seconds before that area becomes lethal and lasts 1 second). its on death attack is: caves end (collapses the cave in a 10 m radius after 20 seconds on 10% hp). description soon :>

Sweet new perk idea for Season 5:
SPIKEY GRENADES
Grenades deal 50 melee damage if they hit an enemy before detonating. It wouldn't stack damage with impact axes, and idk how it'd work with Sweepers.
It wouldn't matter much to already powerful grenades that don't require aiming for specific targets (clusters, shredders, plasmas), and it would act as an indirect buff to every grenade that currently bounces off of enemies instead of activating
Perks idea:
In general the perk system works fine, but if there are any plans to add more perks there should be some changes.
Each dwarf has 10 passive perk slots and 5 active perk slots, but perks can take up several slots.
Dash and iron will for example are used much more than something like hoverboots. Same with passives, vampire is used a lot more than second wind.
If less powerful perks used less slots to equip I'd guarantee there would be more variety in perk builds.
Another thing this allows for: weaker versions of perks can be equipped for less cost. Born Ready could normally cost 3 slots to equip, but only 2 if you are willing to accept a 10 second wait instead of 5.
Perk balancing would also become more flexible and more unique perks could be added to the game.
Extra grenade throwing distance? Sure, it's now a cheap perk.
All accuracy penalties from moving get removed? Sure, it's now an expensive perk.
Do remember that I'm not a game balancer. I don't know what numbers for anything would be optimal, but it's a general idea yknow?

Micro Flechettes is a cool idea but is currently one of the worst overclocks in the game as it downgrades your damage output so much that the upsides aren’t worth it. To increase it’s dps in a fun way, I suggest giving it full auto as the overclock makes the gun more accurate with less recoil, as well as a lot more ammo so it balances out with how fast your mag dumping into enemies.
As for interaction with upgrades: For speed in t2 it would simply increase attack speed.
For T5 stun it would make it so if X amount of shots hit an enemy in a row that enemy will be stunned.
For T5 burst you could have it fire 2 bullets every attack or increase attack speed.
If full auto sounds too much you could give a simply rate of fire increase rate or adjust the upsides a bit to compensate for full auto.
Thermal Insualtion - Uniform
After having played with Stingtails enough in Season 4 exclusively on Hazard 5 to have gotten a good feel for them, I do feel they're overpowered compared to the other 'Disruptive Enemies' in the game. Mainly due to their extreme range and the rate at which they can spam their grab attempts after failing or being stunned.
In a bad situation, with swarms of small and big enemies attacking from every direction, 2-3+ Stingtails spamming their grab and pulling you all over the cave is simply too much. And whilst they're loud, they blend in to crowds and environments pretty easily. They can even grab you through terrain they're under, through Praetorians/Oppressors/Bulks, and pull you into them.
Their chance to pull you into a group of enemies or a single lethal enemy (Slashers, Trijaws, Exploders, Bulks, etc) and get you killed instantly from full health on Hazard 5 makes them feel uniquely random and variable in terms of their threat level (often grabbing you is just an annoyance and you can dash away without issue, but at other times you just die instantly). Which when combined with their ability to potentially instakill you on their own by randomly pulling you high into the air/off a cliff, makes them far more powerful than the slow and modest Grabber, or any other Disruptive Enemy currently in the game, IMO. Only Bulks can compare in terms of their relative power and threat potential, but they're balanced by their very low spawn rates.
My recommendation is to simply make it easier to avoid Stingtails' grab by jumping and moving away from them at an angle/perpendicularly (feels inconsistent compared to other enemies atm), reduce their grab range, and increase the cooldown on them using their grab after a failed/interrupted attempt.
Random customization button should also apply to the sleeveless vs sleeved armor options

Its a sad selection that doesn't even cover the range of status effects a build could be based around. For example, if I make a Neurotoxin Payload build for the Gunner's Thunderhead, I should be able to label the build with a biohazard symbol or something so I can remember what was in the slot without looking in it. As it is I have to use the snowflake as a placeholder, as cryo something the gunner doesnt have any of.

It's kinda weird that Bulk Detonators are the only big threat that can appear on all missions at any moment (excluding dreadnoughts, those are rare as hell). Random spawn of misplaced/lost kegs of beer that fell to Hoxxes in a shipping accident. Players can drink from them and can be any of beers (excluding buff beers/wormhole).
You know how last level of season battle pass gives you 500 credits? How about we add matrix core infusion to this reward? So if you have blank matrix cores it will give you 500 credits and infuse one of your matrix cores with random cosmetic. It just doesn't feel right to have dozens of blanks with nowhere to spend them (and i play regularly).

OC for the M1000 Classic: Kobra MKII Assault Cannon: Focused shot creates a massive explosion similar to the satchel charge (Minus the terrain carve) however to make up for this the recoil is tripled, theres significantly less ammo and you can only carry three shots in the magazine.
From my experience Enor Pearls are pretty hard to notice at times. Maybe they are noticeable in the darkness, but with light in Sandblasted Corridors and sometimes even Salt Pits they're pretty hard to notice, i've missed 4 in a tunnel once. I think either the pearls have to be darker on light, there should be more pearls indicating them or something else to make them more noticeable
I'd love to wear the funny inner tube glyphid as a hat. I keep imagining the wiggly legs as you look around.
When Stingtail is targetting you the Heightened senses activate, allowing you to know it's about to strike when you play without sound or don't hear it. It also could use a bit different color with weaker effect or even work without heightened senses (can be toggled in settings)

Part 1/3
- New Season Idea: Green Hell (?)
- New types of plants was found on Hoxxes IV, and some of these can be pretty useful to R&D, but unfortunately there's 2 bad news: Plants are spreading all over Hoxxes IV incredibly fast and most of these are very aggressive
- New warning: Green Hell. Increased plant spawns and guaranteed one of the evil plants
- New regular plants that can appear on any mission with a small chance, will drop to <0.1% as season ends:
- Hoxxes Flytrap: It's like a Venus Flytrap, but a lot larger and has no stem. It can also disguise as normal ground until something comes in contact with it. After this both dwarves and bugs have 2 seconds to get out before they get eaten. Everything that got inside gets slowly damaged for 15 seconds up to ~200 damage in total (only ~100 for dwarves). Fortunately for dwarves they can make it open faster by mashing A and D a lot. Dwarven attacks from any weapon can also make it open faster. There's 2 types of it, this one is open for ~75 degrees, and another one is a lot larger and is open for 180 degrees, can have some minerals or something else in it to lure dwarves in, but closes in 4 seconds and deals 25% more damage.
- Moss: Moss spawns in big chunks and slowly spreads on the ground up to double size. Dwarves should be careful around it because it's highly flammable. A single spark and entire chunk dissapears in seconds, burning everyone who was on it.
- Stone Rose: It's very similar to Korlok Tyrant Weed, but a bit sharper. It's locked in place and usually points horizontally. When something comes past it with a tiny pause it spits a ball very similar to Tyrant Weed one at pretty big speed, but little damage. It grows extremely fast, and hit targets can spread it's pollen, making more of these grow in some spots (takes ~1 minute to fully grow).
- Also Spitball Infectors and all the plants you can find in current biome are in this list.
Part 2/3
- Healing Bulbs: They're something between Korlok's healing bulbs and warden bulb. They're just as pink and shield nearby targets just like wardens but in 0.7x range (20% DR for dwarves, 50% DR for bugs), and also regenerate ~2.5 health per second
- Just like usual, the warning has an additional objective. On missions with this warning you are equipped with a small "lighter" that can create a small but powerful blast of fire, burning 99% of the plants very quickly and also burning glyphids a lot, but unfortunately it takes 10 seconds before it can blast again. You have to burn 40%/60% of the plants in the cave system in order to do this objective.
- For additional scrip you have to deposit one of the evil plant parts (each deposited thing counts as one, so like 3 for Korlok Tyrant Weed), here's the evil plants:
- Korlok Tyrant Weed: No need for explanation, it's already in game
- Ebonite Hanger: It's a huge orange-shaped plant mutated with ebonite. It sits on the ceiling. It has 4 "tongues" that it uses to push back big targets and eat smaller glyphids in it's range (but they're pretty unnaccurate and weak), it also uses them to break nearby constructions. Fortunately, it also has a bunch of smaller plants similar to elevator plants that can't be killed unless you kill the Ebonite Hanger. Their stem isn't visible unless you stand on it. After this it quickly extends it's stem and gets you close to the Ebonite Hanger, but it's moving a lot and is very unstable, and if you're standing on it for too long it retracts and throws you in opposite direction, dealing ~50 damage if you hit a wall, so you have to pickaxe it right below you for it to return to it's normal state, but it'll be inactive for 15 seconds. The Ebonite Hanger obviously can be only damaged with pickaxe or drills, and it has ~1000 health. After you kill it, it drops 3-4 of plant-ebonite fragments you can deposit.
I think it would be really cool if there was a mode where you could mine in the vacuum of space on the chunks or meteorites of Hoxxes IV. You could have jet boosters to move around that could get refilled by some form of Molly. It would allow for some interesting movement mechanics and enemy types. Of course there would have to be some more planning around it but I think it would be cool.
Part 3/3
Green Crawler: In it's peaceful state it's like some kind of bulb untill you attack it or go near it. After this the "bulb" shows it's stem, extends and then retracts into the ground. It's very similar to Korlok's shooting plants, but ~3 times bigger and a bit darker. It quickly moves under the ground, digging out in a distance from dwarves, waiting a few seconds and quickly making 3 successive shots (with like 1s delay between the shots), after this it waits for 1 more second and digs into the ground. The shots deal ~20 damage each and have like 0.6x speed of spitballer ones. It also can dig under the dwarves, throwing them in all directions and then shooting. It may also release some "tentacles" that may grab nearby dwarves for 2 seconds and then throw them at pretty much same velocity but more horizontally unless someone shoots them in that 2 second window. It can also dig into the ground, growing 2 Korlok's healing bulbs in ~10 meter radius of it's location. After a short delay they start healing it up to 1/4 of it's health unless you destroy these bulbs. But that's not everything this plant got to offer. It has a bit less health than a Dreadnought and 4 health segments (like Korlok's or Caretaker's 3), and it's speed can double as it's health goes down, reaching double speed at 25% of it's health. Like it'll have 0.5s delay between the shots, 40 damage per shot and 1.2x spitballer shot speed and everything else. After death it drops 2-3 fragments
A couple of suggestions regarding Mission Control:
- More variation on mission-specific lines. It's always the same thing with the Mini-MULES mission
- Notifications of approaching large enemies like Bulk Detonators and Oppressors
- One comment at the start of the mission about the ghost glyphid or the low oxygen or gravity

"Iron Hail" Heavy Flak Cannon as a new gunner primary. A large cyllindrical magazine requiring reload. A water cooling jacket equipped barrel. A muzzle like the mouth of a cave. Full auto firing many projectiles at once like a shotgun. No windup or speed building mechanic. Heavy recoil necessitating controlled bursts.
New biome - Crystal Geode - a sub-variant of Crystalline Caverns located deeper underground. It would have a similar type of generation, but a bit more open that the normal biome. Maybe around 50% of glyphids in it would be in an state adapted to the extreme conditions, having crystal armor plating making them more resistant to melee and fire damage, but it could be shattered by a single shot from a kinetic damage type weapon, and energy attacks (such as engi's laser or the DRAK) would just ignore it. The biome would contain big ommoran-like crystals (maybe similar to the beamers that burn the drilldozer?) as environmental hazards, and maybe some enemies would have evolved some kind of cell type that could generate light which would then be focused by crystals on the body of the creature making some kind of a laser attack. Also, gold could be changed into a different mineral to fit the biome, it wouldn't be as abundant as gold, but it would be worth more so players would get the same amount of gold at the end of the mission.

Give turrets some overclocks? Something I’m thinking of it like when the turret runs out of ammo, an explosion around it occurs or it fires like special damage type bullets like fire or electric, etc
A friendly bounty system of sorts for Jetty Boot, where leaving a high score on the arcade machine in a multiplayer lobby would let you leave behind a small amount of your own minerals. The first person to beat your high score would then get those minerals. 🙂

I know that stingtails are supposed to cause chaos in a fight, but it just isnt right when a stingtail literally throws you across the room and downs you due to fall damage.
[New Glyphid Idea!]
Glyphid Tunneler.
This bug is around the size of a pretorian, but a bit smaller (up to devs, im just suggesting). its sole role in any glyphid nest is to expand the cave and create glyphid sized tunnels by melting the rock, wood or ice with a concentrated acid which is not for combat but for digging. in gameplay it digs towards dwarves (usually) with a small pack of grunts behind it, with a visual effect indicating where it digging. trying to flank you by maybe going behind you or to the sides or tunneling along walls then popping out then going right back in to avoid gunfire (or just regular fire) while the pack of grunts use that tunnel to flank your team. now, its not actually good at fighting, it is the glyphid's utility unit, not combat, so it would have weak armor and barely any attacks. ofcourse since it can dig, it should dig slowly and be REALLY Rare. even in haz 5 since it has the ability to drasticly change the terrain. so yeah i think its an idea that could greatly benefit from polishing of this idea by either devs or the community. but i've laid down the skeleton. good enough for me! rock and stone, to the bone lads.

I have an idea, we have tools that are modified or turn into weapon in that way they are no longer tools. so why giving us ordinary tools that we use as weapon. exemple for driller we could have a jackhammer it cannot drill thru dirt since it is made to break hard surface, you could imagine that it would do the same as the coilgun. for gunner i imagine a riot shield it would be just perfect for the character, and the shield could use ammo for shooting a shock wave like ability. Scoot could have a high utility multipurpose weapon with many option, like four cannon that shoot four deferent ammunition's, pressing (R) change ur barrel. Finally engineer could have small welder, like a taser but that use flames. All those weapon are primary. sorry again for my poor English
I'd really like a Light Configuration version of the Scale Brigade helmet like we have for the Dark Future helmet, because we deserve to show off our beards and our prestige at the same time! Here's a mockup of what it could possible look like.
Please let us review the full results from our last mission (at least as long as we haven't logged out/restarted the game since then) after we've loaded back into the space rig, at our leisure. Not just the little bit I can find in the medbay. Maybe put it in another tab in the "Key Performance Indicators" terminal in the personal quarters.

Many people are complaining about not being able to wear multiple cosmetics at once, so here's a solution:
Multiple slots for hats, beards, mustaches and other stuff but armor, skin color and brows. Multiple paintjob and hair color slots would let you customize your hair and beard or armor and helmet separately
I'm not sure what's the best way to implement this. Either just multiple slots like 4 for head, 2 for paintjobs, 3 for hair color, but i think it'd be better to have some small arrows next to slots. You press up arrow and it selects the second slot. But i think it'd be better to have some buttons after you select a slot. Like 1234 for helmet and icons of mustache, beard and stuff for hair color and it basically works as previous one, but a bit better. There'd also be a button to remove a cosmetic from the slot (or set it to default). If you'll implement this, it'd also go well with Favorite and Block buttons for the equipment and a selection to pick only favorite victory moves. Also some options for random button to select from the favorites/any/any but blocked
Let us be able to see our teammate's loadouts. that way we can change our own loadouts accordingly to account for any weaknesses in the team dynamic. Like if everyone else opted for high single target damage builds, I can switch to a swarm clearing build to account for fire power
Also it would be nice to show everyone's shield status as well, so Gunner can make more efficient use of his shield generator
Separate cosmetics and equipment presets
Reason: equipment selection depends on the mission, while cosmetics selection is dependent on the current mood.
It would be cool if there is a new Mission Type for only mining minerals and ores.
Only accesibile in solo - you pick it like any other mission at the terminal, and you will be dropped in a small to medium cave full of the minerals within that biome.
and this mission is only available once in a week , like deep dive.
you have only one try per week tho. the drop pod stays where you left but you get immediately an extraction timer of like 5 minutes,
you can only fail the mission when getting too greedy and cant get back in time, no enemies are around and hazard difficulty doesnt influence the outcome.
beer buffs also dont work for this mission.

Faced a problem when the volume of the introductory splash screen is very different from the volume of the game itself. In other words, when I start the game, I take the headphones out of my ears, because it's too loud. Can I somehow turn it to zero in the settings?
Last level of a season battle pass and every next level after it should give some random cosmetic from previous seasons. And if you already have everything from previous seasons it gives 500 credits as usual.
Shooting a stingtail’s tail as it glows before an attack should cancel it ( kind of like how spitballer projectiles can be destroyed)
Would make stingtails easier to counter and less frustrating, while also still requiring your utmost attention as a high value target.
Stingtails are broken rn and unless you’re specifically specced to kill them, they’re by far the most threatening enemy while also being tough to kill because of the frequency of their attacks and their armor.

Please include an option in privacy settings to enable Invite-Only for friends-only sessions, or a max playercount. Sometimes I just wanna play with 1 or 2 other friends and not have others join directly off of me on Steam. The option to hide your game in the server browser is nice, but not quite enough.

Overclock prioritizarion:
You can pay an exorbadent fee to prioritize a certain overclock. Whenever you get an overclock that is not the prioritized one, the chance of getting it next time increases. This is an attempt at fixing late game grinding, and decreasing reliance on RNGsus. Mabie unlocked by completing an assignment after prestige.
I think putting this shielding on the drop pod door opening would be a good way of explaining why Glyphids don't just enter the drop pod with you at the end of a mission. They're very polite atm and just go "Ayyyy fair nuff mate"
There should be a list of games/lobbies you've recently been in.
If you lose connection to a lobby you don't get a prompt to rejoin (or at least I don't) and if the mission has been going on for long enough or someone was faster than you. You're pretty much screwed.
If we could use such a list as a way to reconnect it would make the process much easier.

Just clarifying the part about multiple portals creating a void space between them, this allows for choosing (with preview) which portal to go through if there are 3+ placed already... I think it could be fun to have like 12 portals placed randomly throughout the caves, creating a spooky pitch-black liminal space where you can choose which portal to take 🙂
We can't have portals as a weapon, but maybe as a grenade? That's where this came from. There are so many different ways to do it tho, like only two at a time and when placing a third, the first is destroyed. Gimme a pickaxe emoji if you prefer that instead.

New Mission Type (Not fully fleshed out, and I'm not sure how some of the mechanics would work): Management finally realized that with all the recent losses from the rival incursion and the massive losses of entire space rigs from the Rockpox infestation, staff retention has actually become more important to the financial health of the Company. After all, graybeards are an invaluable trove of experience, and greenbeards are the future! With this in mind, in cases where miners did not make it back to the drop pod but short-term survival is likely, an effort will be made to extract the marooned dwarves from Hoxxes. A team will be sent down to find these Dwarves (the drop pod will remain but power down so as not to attract wildlife) and lead them back to the pod. After locating said rescue-ees (probably fortified in some small cave with no safe way out), the team will deploy a limited number of Shield Generators on their way back that will act as beacons to provide temporary safe areas and call the rescued dwarves to make the next step of the journey back to the pod. Once back, the pod will take time to power up of course, and with extra dwarves it'll definitely be cramped in there. It need not be said that should the team fail, Management would never sign off on a second rescue mission to go after THEM. Also, while they're down there, of course DRG would expect them to collect some Morkite/Dystrum/Hollomite/etc...because why not help the bottom line a little bit anyway.
overclocks for the platform gun, the flare gun and the zipline launcher:
platform gun: nonstick compound (balanced or clean overclock)
prevents goo, acid and other chemicals and bodily fluids from sticking to the platforms, however this nonstick ability extends to your team's tools as well (sludge pump, flamethrower etc. all do not stay on the platforms)
flare gun: radium-infused flares (balanced or clean overclock)
your flares now burn slightly brighter. when they burn out, they don't go completely dark and instead continue to emit a bit of light indefinitely. If any enemy or ally gets within 3m of the flare, they will start taking radiation damage
zipline launcher: efficient wires (balanced overclock)
the zipline now allows players to move significantly faster, however the zipline itself cannot withstand as much weight, thus not allowing players to carry heavy objects when using it. Lithofoamer and Lithovac do not count as heavy objects.

Maybe let us decend into some caves where we find some naked dorfs armed with callowseeder spears and throwing goo sack globs (as their backpacks are lost gear) running around we need to extract while, off course, we attracted a large wave. the naked dorfs (or with random skins, after all, as dorfs are no hippie elves but have socks) are npcs fighting on our side but the ammo is really low so we need every dorf available.
We could get something like "favourite lobbies" or such option, when said host is online and has space you see them better in the serverlist.
I would like a warning "low nitra" or such, so we dont have this gung ho if enough nitra is collected and people need to be ammoefficient on saving ammo. Or give us randomwarnings we only see after joining, or changing during the mission, like in edds. that and remove cave leech cluster, as its useless...
we dont need overclocks for tools, as those could really mess up the consistency of the base game.
Gunner rocket launcher overclock - parasite rockets
Rockets can drill into enemies and deal damage over time. When they kill an enemy, it explodes in a similar way to the "volatile guts" modifier. Sadly, all of the funny tech takes too much space to fit explosives inside.
Rockets drill into enemies on impact, deal damage over time and enemies explode when killed by them, similar to "volatile guts" modifier. the time it takes for a rocket to drill through depends on armor, they pass through bare skin without any problem, but going through heavy armor takes them a couple of seconds and slightly decreases the damage done inside an enemy due to energy loss.
Rockets fire at a higher velocity making aiming a bit easier, also slightly increasing direct kinetic damage on impact.
Rockets no longer explode and deal no AOE damage

MC - Attention Miners! One of our corporate stations got knocked out of orbit and deep into Hoxxes by a chunk of the comet. Head in, take back any lost resources and Bosco units! Now get to it!
As he says, dwarves will land near the station and will have to locate and enter it taking back any materials and bots. But as it was struck by a chunk of the comet it'll be infested with rockpox intruders that'll preferably be forcibly evicted before the materials are taken back such as.
0/2 Bosco Units
0/4 Resource Packs or Compressed Materials even gold. (They'll be wrapped in a beeping tracker to not get the dwarves too happy about the gold)
And as always it'll end with a drop pod for extraction.
I've been thinking about how after this season ends, lithophage will be as uncommon as rivals is now. We should update the mission board to have themed incursions every other week or so to make these modifiers appear more suddenly in a high than normal quantity for a while before retuning to being uncommon. The problem will become more pronounced as we get new seasonal modifiers. It would solve the issue with seasonal content seeming to vanish for newer players and people who don't play as often.
If you join a lobby with only a few seconds left, the game will select whichever class you hovered over in those few seconds which could leave you stuck with a class you didn't want to choose. This should be changed to either display a longer selection screen (delay join until class is picked) or a way to change classes while the game is loading

Another suggestion, more enemies are always cool, but instead of “more bugs”, how about mammal or reptile aliens? Like dinosaur like aliens or sumthn like that, or a giant bear alien. Idk how it would work, but variety in things to shoot is always cool.

When you're cooking an HE Grenade (the driller one where it explodes on a timer that starts when pulled out) the visible arc line should turn red if the grenade's fuse is shorter than the time it will take to reach that point.

I have been playing as a driller and a scout (got to level 25 as a scout) and I just started an engineer. Comparatively, the experience is very, very painful. It comes down to two things.

The engineer is vertically challenged. Not going down, so much as going up. I kept wishing I had a grappling hook, but what would work that is in the engineer's flavor would be if the engineer (and only the engineer) were able to jump much higher when standing on the engineer's platform.

The turret runs out of ammo far far too quickly. Expanding the ammo bags works until it doesn't. It would be nice if the engineer could collect expended flares and craft them into ammo for the sentry gun. For example, for every flare you get, you can make 1 ammo. Or even .5 ammo per flare for the sentry gun.
Checked the suggestion record, and didn't see this when I searched. But maybe make a secret achievement for finding an error cube? Doesn't change much and keeps the mystery of it the same, just kinda would be dope to see some sort of statistic for what percent of players have found atleast one.
Related, similar Airburst Missiles to the Hurricane, with shorter proximity detonation range and less damage per shot, to balance out the extra accuracy
Both of these overclocks will give gunners a lot more options against mactera and nadeocytes, and add a fun new flavor of high caliber munitions to the game

specific class based melee weapons that wouldnt just be weapons they would also function as tools
its pretty clear that if melee weapons were added they would either be too strong or remain borderline unused so here's my proposal
1 weapon per class used in the secondary slot
gunners specialty is killing so he should get a two handed axe with higher damage than other melee weapons
drillers specialty is destroying terrain so he should get a sort of battle pick good at breaking armor that other than being a melee weapon would function as a (considerably)slower pickaxe with longer range taking 1 less hit to break terrain and couldnt mine minerals
engineer is an engineer so id say he should get a two handed hammer im sure yall could figure out a more interesting idea but id just have the engineer build stuff faster when the hammer is equipped something being turrets,uplinks.pipes,abandoned resupplies,power cells,mini mules
and scouts expertise being mobility i think he should get 2 small axes that would let him make dash attacks and jumps

This may already be a well known issue but please if you could work on fixing the Desync issues (idk really anything abt game development so take this with a grain of salt) bc a lot of times when I join matches there will be issues like terrain existing for some and not for others or minerals being mined for one person but being a ghost item for another.
Victory Move involving a tyrant shard
a bit more description about how i see it in my head:
The dwarf, holding a particularly large and spikey tyrant shard walks up, and places the tyrant shard on the ground to their right (doesn't slam it, but doesn't gently put it down either) the dwarf will then put their leg on the tyrant shard, put their arm on the leg that is on the tyrant shard, bend their backs towards it a bit and will stare for a few seconds to the ceiling in front of them in the direction of the shard before moving the leg on the shard forward, kicking it back and entering the idle pose (the tyrant shard could be still seen behind them, as the legs dont fully cover it)
if i had to name it the name would go something along the lines of "Extraterrestrial Tyrant"

Salvo Module overclock for gunner's Hurricane should just straight up get lock-on feature like engineer's LOK-1. Just because it would be cool.
What immediately drew me to this game (actually, the demo!) was the feeling of venturing into the unknown. Eventually, I learned that each mission has very particular procgen parameters and the caves end up feeling very samey. This is understandable, and is why there is always a room full of minerals at the deepest part of a cave in a mining mission. Suggestion: an Overtime mission where you venture into zones outside the scanner's range. These caves can have wackier procgen, and the goal is to attain a certain amount of value out of the mission. You could mine some morkite, collect an egg or two, and then an aquarq before you hit that threshold. No contact with the space rig, so no wave intel, no supply drops (but an increased chance to find buried canisters), and the drop pod stays shutdown until you're ready to extract. Think of it like a randoweiser for missions.
how about perkpoints or errorcubes being used in gettings oc's you want? like you could spend perkpoints or errorcubes to imprint a oc your choice on a blank core.

Like there's only the DLC ones, MK1-5 armors, Scale Brigade, Christmas one and that's it? Why not add some normal clothes? Like some shirt with shorts, Tuxedo, some Jacket? Like it's not a big deal to have normal clothes instead of armor, we already can go on a mission in some Christmas costume or Medical Gown. Just imagine how many cosplays it may unlock, like Hagrid cosplay!
Edit: Or imagine an engineer in a Hoodie shooting a swarm with fatboy! I know armors are hard to make, but there's many options for casual clothes to choose from, and some of them can be easy to make!

If you're small from Underhill, let people punt you and kick you around the rig. Double especially if they ragdoll or get barrel physics.
Random grenades? What if you threw a grenade and it released a random one of the grenades the player has unlocked?
I'm not too sure how you'd balance this. Maybe lower the amount of grenades the player can throw before resupplying?

So far there are three enemies that grab and pin the Dwarves. The Cave Leech, the Trawler, and of course, the Mactera Grabber. (Not including the Stingtail among this group for reason that will be detailed soon.)
This leaves us with two grabbing threats from above, but only one for the ground level, as the Stingtail launches you in its direction instead of grabbing in a manner similar to the other disruptive grabbers.
So, pup proposes the following changes to the Glyphid Stingtail:
Decrease spawn rate to a bit higher than an Oppressor.
Change their grab from a launch in their direction to a proper grab that pins the dwarf, preventing movement.
Allow the tail to be shot out of the air.
Allow Heightened Senses to proc on Stingtail grabs.
Allow allied Dwarves/Bosco to interrupt the grab by shooting the Stingtail.
Slightly increase the volume of the Stingtail's announcement sound.
Decrease the speed with which the Stingtail pulls a dwarf, to slightly above a cave leech.

DRILLER PRIMARIES:
- Hardlight Ripper - Very similar to Dead Space's Ripper, but the blade is made of hardlight. Yes, can switch between a "chainsaw" mode and launching blades forward.
- Mjollnir Lightning Gun - A chain-lightning weapon, pretty basic.
*** B347 Sonic Cannon** - A soundbeam weapon with longer range than usual Driller weapons. Can even bounce its beams in the environment, and can alter its beam width.
DRILLER SECONDARIES:
- **Nimbus Bolt Pistol **- A pistol launching bolts, which conduct lightning in an area around its impact point.
- **OIMC "Oink" Crystallizer Pistol **- A crystal shotgun pistol, which has an altfire mode of explosive crystals - to use the altfire mode you have to kill enemies with it, or kill/dig with your Drills!
- **Firefall Firebomber **- Launches fiery projectiles which incinerate the area.
ENGINEER PRIMARIES:
- **"Pinball" Energy Blaster **- Launches radioactive balls which penetrates enemies and bounce on the environment.
- "Wizard" Combat Nailgun - Shoots nail either in full auto or in a shotgun-like manner. Can modify its nails to either burn or freeze.
- (PH) **Plasma Cutter Pistol **- A pistol shooting slightly wider blades of plasma with a very high velocity.
ENGINEER SECONDARIES:
- FR4-NKY "Reanimator" Gelbomb Gun - Launches advanced corrosive-explosive gel projectiles which DoT enemies up, explodes on expiration and/or "zombifies" enemies to run up and explode themselves on other enemies!
- Thumper Kinetic Cannon - Forcefield shotgun, which can either shoot a cone of energy at close-ish range, or charge up its shot for a longrange high damage shot.
- (PH)** Minelayer Gun** - Launches timed explosive projectiles which you can also manually detonate for immediate explosive results.
GUNNER PRIMARES:
- Chimera Gun Platform - A LMG with underslung grenade launcher. Highly modifiable in its grenades and the main gun can even turn in to a pseudo-shotgun!
- Leviathan Heavy Cannon - Yarrrr! Shoots heavily arcing explosive plasma-balls.
- (PH) - Dunno, please help me figure out Gunner's Primary number 6!
GUNNER SECONDARIES:
- **Clockwork Machine Pistol **- Fully automatic pistol, with stasis bullets (slowdown effect), a magazine that technically never ends (but shoots slower when "empty") and can alter its rate of fire on the fly.
- **Firewall Projector **- Projects a fiery wall in front of the gunner, which burns enemies, boosts your primary fire and can also launch its wall as a thick "Breach Cutter"-like projectile. High in utility.
- (PH) **Talon Handcannon **- Basically, a space Desert Eagle.
SCOUT PRIMARIES:
- **Winston Lever-Action Charge Shotgun **- A plasma shotgun which can be charged up for higher accuracy. Uniquely reloads its energy shells one by one!
- **Quasar Battle Rifle **- An energy rifle functioning somewhat like a hybrid between GK2 and M1K - It has a fullauto mode (slower and harder hitting than GK2 though) and a heavy shot similar to the M1K's snipershot. While similar, its mods and OCs really set them apart.
- (PH) **Bolt-action Laser Rifle **- A "radiation railgun" of sorts. Slower than most Scout primaries, but more powerful, and has some innate penetration.
SCOUT SECONDARIES:
- **Dual Willow Plasma Seeker Pistols **- Dualwielded pistols with homing properties when used at closer range.
- **Firebrand Cleaver **- A medium-ish range melee-esque weapon (combat wise, it's more similar to the double barrel shotgun than an actual melee weapon), which launches waves of fiery death. Can strike horizontally, or vertically (with the reload button). No, it does NOT have unlimited ammo
- (PH) **Blaster Glaive **- A throwable disc with high-tech mods; can bounce, pierce and/or explode. No, it does NOT have unlimited ammo either
A new Dwarf class based on heavy melee output and speed but in return a significant amount of health is reduced to balance the class.
It would be pretty cool to have more items on the DRG Steam Points shop. Perhaps animated backgrounds, profile icons and borders, profile backgrounds of the different biomes and whatnot, just plenty more Deep Rock Galactic Steam cosmetics

More pickaxe upgrades. Not anything huge I'd just like something more like slightly faster pickaxe or maybe fire damage with pickaxe power attack.

Do call me an idiot if this sounds stupid but,what if support tools had overclocks?
To elaborate two of my ideas are a shotgun blast for scouts flare gun,that lights up more space at the cost of less ammo,and engineers platforms being able to slowly heal a little bit of health over time.
If you have Iron Will, Bosco shouldn't drop everything it's doing right as you go down. Either make it wait 3 seconds before it drops everything or make it only go when you call for help (and probably let us change that in settings)
Flare recycling system
Every flare you pick up that is spent, (with more chance based on how long the flare has been sitting around) you have between 0 and 20% chance to get a small amount of ammunition for non combat tools. Drillers get gas for power drills, scouts get flares for their flare guns, gunners get more ziplines, and engineers get more platform charges.
Perk: Flare reuse. Every flare you pick up has a chance between 0 and 100% (with more chance based on how long the spent flares have been laying around) to add 1 charge to your flare cooldown.

If bouncing isnt needed, or makes normal flares obsolete, just having them roll would also be nice.
If the devs still read these, can we get a second look over the balance and abilities of perks? The goal would simply to be to bring all perks to be viable in various situations, or for specific classes. So far, my best suggestion is to increase "Strong Arm's" ability to throw heavy objects from 20% to 50%, and for "It's a bug thing" to grant an additional +15 to mineral carrying capacity. As for Deep Pockets, it could be increased to +20, while giving +40 exclusively to gold.
Lloyd unlocks you a special drink after tipping a certain amount of credits. Something that’d pop up in the basic section of the menu, alongside the Oily Oaf, Glyphid Slammer and Leaf Lover. Yk, a drink that just invokes the feeling of gratitude. This kinda thing happens in Borderlands 3, when giving Moxxi a bunch of tips, you get some secret weapons. Fr if they’d add that, I’d love for it to be named something like “Student Debt”, or smt real goofy like that… “Tax Collector”, “Piggy Bank”, “Senior Savings”. Either that, or it could have a totally different theme, thought of the name “Burning Memory”, dedicated to Karl, still unlocked after tipping a certain amount of credits; it’d just have some special voicelines for it, revolving Karl.

It may have already been suggested but what about a "Judge" Overclock for the "Bulldog" Heavy Revolver where it has the same capacity but shoots "mini shells" out of a smoothbore barrel with double the spread of the mini shells of the "Warthog" Auto 210 (due to the shorter barrel)
When infusing blank cores, after choosing a specific class being able to also choose which weapon we want an OC for.
This doesn't remove the RNG factor entirely, but it would reduce it by a fair amount.
This benefit players who are looking for an specific OC or an OC for an specific weapon they want to play, while still keeping the RNG factor in the system.
Add a single action mode for the "Bulldog" Heavy Revolver like the focus shot of the M1000 Classic but without the double damage, basically less spread and a slight zoom in. What's the point of a revolver with an external hammer if you can't use it? (Also this could lead to a "Big Iron" overclock where the revolver is single action only for X improvement)

Laser Musket as a Scout Primary. It would function like the one in Fallout 4 except it would have unlimited ammo, with the balance being it would take a while for you to build enough charge with the hand crank to fill up the capacitors, and depending on the upgrades the capacitors wouldn't hold the charge for long. It would function as a Sniper/DMR/Anti Material rifle depending on the build and the overclock chosen. For a DMR one would focus on magazine size and capacitor life, for a sniper one would focus on maximizing accuracy and weakpoint damage, for Anti Material one would build it for Max armor breaking and damage at the cost of magazine size and "reload" time.
Probably already suggested: Boomstick primary for Scout, it being the shotgun the "Jury-Rigged" Boomstick was cut from (literally). Same capacity but with less spread and more damage (stock) with the upgrade options being longer or shorter barrels, choke options, and many of the same upgrades and overclocks as the Jury-Rigged Boomstick with some new ones thrown in

Reports have been floating around that some rogue Dwarves who defected from DRG are out being Lone Wolves. Fed up with how DRG had been treating them, being overworked and whatnot, they’ve decided to take matters into their own hands.
Management wants us to get these Rogue Dwarves and take them out, as they’ve been looting minerals and high value resources for themselves, when they should be DRG’s.
Have random events where you’ll fight a randomly generated Dwarf NOT A HUMAN CONTROLLED PLAYER (could be any class, random clothes, could have some attack patterns depending on the Class) who will swoop in and try to disrupt the team.
This could also be an opportunity to have the Dwarf’s name be 1 of two ideas:

Randomly generated names (I.e, Sangren Kristoff, Madro Genkan, random silly names. Perhaps old Dwarven names or something)

Have the Dwarf be named after any of your friends, can be randomly picked from your friends list (kind of like how Borderlands 3 has a Twitch extension which allows others to have a Badass enemy named after them)
Upon defeating them, you’ll get their minerals (Gold, Croppa, Enor Pearl, the usual) and maybe one piece of whatever they’re wearing (this can also add another way to get gear that you don’t have)
Mission Control could say something like:
“Good work team, you’ve taken down that traitor. Management will be pleased to hear this.” Upon defeating the rogue Dwarf
Could shake up the enemy variety. Would be a fun idea and honestly, given that the Dwarves’ have a line where they say that they would like to retire and start their own mining company, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that they could be so fed up with DRG that they just decide to leave and do things their way.
And I’m sure Karl wouldn’t appreciate a Dwarf who would abandon their own team.

What’s a good build for the M1000 without overclocks?
When you repair pipes during liquid morquite extraction. Your vision gets blurred and splashed with Morkite. As well as your dwarf being covered in Morkite.

An overclock for scout called "Dive Bomber" where whenever the scout performs a power attack while mid-air (and after performing a grappling hook pull) and kills an enemy with said power attack, he will not take any fall damage for the next few seconds, his power attack cooldown would be reduced massively, at the cost of massively reduced ranged combat capabilities.
Overclock for driller's primaries called "Drill-niac" (Drill Maniac) where at the cost being unable to use his primary, the driller now has massively buffed combat capabilities with his drill and takes significantly less damage from Melee attacks (Driller ditches his gun in favour of wearing heavier armor and a larger, more lethal drill, he is a mad man who now wants to engage bugs in glorious Melee combat)

It's me, the 2000th person to complain about stingtails. My brother recently walked out of a game with me because he was fed up with stingtails and "wasn't having fun anymore." He doesn't seem to want to play the game, and I doubt I'll be able to convince him to return. I am giving this anecdote not so you pity me or him, but because his reasoning for hating stingtails is important: he wasn't having fun anymore.
Why do I feel stingtails are problematic? It's not because they can grab you, or because they are built like a bulldozer: It's because they are both. An enemy with very well guarded, small, and hard to identify weak spots that is armored better than praetorians and the size of a guard, who's special ability gives them the power to prevent picking up allies, prevent necessary resupplies, put players out of position, kill them with fall damage, or drag you into a swarm that will 1 shot you, all while being armored to the max. To top it all off, they spawn extremely frequently, so often you'll be dealing with 2 at once, or more, and with little breathing room between. They aren't challenging; they are irritatingly tanky, disruptive and persistent.
Fun is subjective, but I don't feel stingtails are designed to be fun or engaging, they are designed to be irritating and chaotic. They are designed to suck the enjoyment of hoard clearing by being the one and only special enemy to be so tanky and yet so disruptive that you have to stop wave clearing, bite the bullet through waves of bugs, and have all of your team drop everything to mag dump a single bug because of how much of a pain it will be. Alternatively, you must build part of your kit to counter this one enemy.
This could be fixed easily: Remove the crazy amounts of armor. Make it's armor somewhat harder than a guards. Enough to consider armorbreak, not enough to have my brother quit the game for another month to not play again, only to quit for another month after running into the same stingtail problem.

Weapon Overcharge
For a bunch of credits and minerals (500000+ credits and 500+ minerals depending on your weapon/500 of all minerals) you can overcharge your weapon for the next mission (or first Deep Dive stage), allowing you to put a second overclock on it
This way multiple overclocks on a weapon would be kinda balanced, because that's temporary fun as you spend a ton of credits and minerals for it, not allowing you to take it on every mission

Make a game mechanic where collecting dead flares is important. This could be in the form of a hazard where your being hunted by a team of bots that track you by the dead flares they find, or a perk that cools down when you collect dead flares, or even just a flare reuse mechanic. Alternatively, make dead flares despawn. The caves are littered with dead flares, and on long missions it gets to be an eyesore.
Add a gamemode where the goal is to rescue a tall white dwarf from their slumber

Allow players to have an additional gear slot that does not replenish when you get a replenishment case. The only way to get more uses out of this gear is to collect dead flares and turn them into a flare vendor underground. Ideally a flare vendor that looks suspiciously like an amongus. The options for this gear slot:
3 permanent flares (exchange 25 dead flares for each new permanent flare)
1 parachute (exchange 100 dead flares for a parachute)
1 explosive seat (exchange 100 flares for this. It launches any dwarf who walks across it straight into the air, high enough to almost die on the return)
1 human hologram (exchange 50 flares for this. makes any dwarf this is used on appear like a human, thus triggering massive aggro)
An achievement for completing a mission while at least 75% drunk

Anyone else besides me craving a proper Rival Tech Armor DLC? I'm not talking about robot rebellion, because that fits a scrapper waster vibe. Description: Someone at R&D figured out how to make the Lithophage "Drinkable." How you may ask? Apparently it had something to do with "Ionized Ale" to make this abomination, best when shaken.

Have 4 Boscos in the mule storage area in the drop pod and have the Bosco revive siren sound play if dwarves are down while the escape pod is leaving. Maybe with the bosco revive animation as well, but I would guess that would be tricky to implement in multiplayer.

I honestly don't care how you do it, just please make stingtails less of an 'oh crap, focus everything on it!' type of enemy. I don't care if it's "trendy" to hate on them right now, I genuinely don't like them and want them nerfed in some significant capacity.
Alternatively, make the armor above the stingtail's forehead weakspot easier to destroy without armor shred mods on your weapon. Currently the stingtail makes armor break essentially mandatory on one of your weapons, which decreases playstyle variety and can frustrate players.

I have a rather large suggestion for perhaps a future season update.
I remember hearing one theory, i forget by whom, that a large impact - either an asteroid or even a small moon sized body - collided with hoxxes 4 and sorta dislodged its core, resulting in oceans draining to new areas, leaving the salt pits and perhaps also the dense biozone dried up. This theory kinda makes me want a new biome with perhaps a new boss - maybe the final form of the dreadnoughts ('Glyphid Broodmother'?) living in the hollowed out remains of what was once the core - the darkest, most dangerous and also richest area of the planet. It could have dark terrain similar to the compressed granite you see if you dig too far up or down in a mission, perhaps with lakes of magma similar to the magma core biome (I believe magma core is a result of the movement of the core itself. Not that the biome IS the core - just above it, with fungus bogs above that.) Praetoreans could have mutations similar to their glacier counterparts, I.e. Fire breath, maybe even a weaker form of the dreadnought's armoured asshole. creatures would be resistant to fire but susceptible to frost or acid.
I like the idea of a whole new mission type like industrial sabotage where you have to fight a gargantuan dreadnought in a huge, cavernous arena. Perhaps its size could result in slow movement, making it rely on ranged attacks and releasing smaller creatures. The fight could have multiple stages where it releases a large quantity of bugs, as a sort of swarm trigger that serves as a break from the fight itself to deal with smaller threats as usual. Damaging the thing could be a big problem, requiring specialised equipment delivered in drop pods by DRG - perhaps a sort of ion-ballista or something that you have to charge, aim and hit weakpoints that you need to expose with your own weapons.
That's just some brainstormed ideas but it would be cool to have a new and difficult boss fight, somewhere dark and creepy

Currently, the Zipline launcher for the gunner has 2 mods on the last row. Disconnection protection and increased motor traction. I would like to propose a third Mod.
Web Designer: While within 1 meter of an already placed zipline anchor (only the launching side) you can launch another zipline that is at least 30 degrees offset from your previously placed zipline on the Z plane. This new zipline will use the existing zipline anchor, and will not cost a zipline charge. This allows the gunner to build zipline hubs to cover contested areas. In mining missions, this is not that competitive when you only want to go from A-> B and traverse a cliff. Same for egg hunt andsalavage operations. However in on site refining missions, this mod is very powerful for allowing a gunner to set up a web of ziplines to allow for easy traversal.
Please reconsider adding molten gold.
For context, Molten gold was supposed to be the gold covering the blast of a Crassus Detonator and would take 1 hit to mine instead of 2, but was scrapped due to it not working with Pots o' Gold (according to the wiki). The solution could've been changing something with the drink itself, making it affect normal gold and molten gold, instead of trying to make molten gold identical to gold.
I'm not much of a game designer, but I would definitely appreciate Not having manually mining an entire crassus gold sphere by hand take half an hour because I want those credits.
Add soundboards to the server. We all know the obvious soundboards to add, im surprised we havent added em sooner (We're Rich, Mushroom, lots of variations of Rock and Stone...)
New biome type: valley/crevasse like area with streams of water tunning through. New Mission type for this area: sluicebox duty. Dearves have to operate a rock shaker and sluicebox while defending them and a heavy backhow thats loading rocks and soil into the rockshaker to then filter put the rocks which then runs the aoil through a sluicebox. This will be after the players set up 2 dredge pumps into the stream and connect the hoses to the rock shaker. Players will have to prriodically cleab the filters and gold mat out of the sluicebox and reassemble it during defense.
This mission and biome suggestion comes from actual mining experience out in the mountains and making use of a sluxice box myself
Cosmetic suggentions
Introduce eye customization: Add a solid color (Pure red/yellow/blue eyes, etc.); complement skin customization with new colors (for example, charcoal gray).
Skin and eyes are an important part of a character's appearance, and in particular with most uncommon skins, cover the character's face so that the eyes are not visible.
Also, as a change, I propose to introduce a non-standard animation: When all team members enter the capsule from the planet to the station, sometimes a simple beetle will jump into the passage, but it will be cut or chewed by doors.
If the developers or anyone related to them reads this, then my respect to them for the game and the fact that they are still developing it!

Also two for On-Site Refining and Escort:
- 2 Small Liquid Morkite wells spawn on a stage. You can call down a pumpjack and then a mini-refinery drops ~25 meters away that has no base. It's like a bigger resupply, with multiple extensions for pipes and a button to start extraction. Takes half the normal time and breaks only 1 time. Mini-refinery leaves as soon as extraction ends.
- In one of the caves you can spot some round meteorite about half the size of Ommoran Heartstone colors of a normal meteor (?) with some light blue light coming out the cracks, and there's also oil shales around the cave. You can call down a big drill (tall square, like a bigger resupply with a drill on the side, about as tall as Doretta and half as wide) ~10 meters away from the meteorite rotated in random direction. You can use the handles on it to rotate it and move forward. The more dwarves the easier. You have to fill one oil canister. You can also drill the ground with it, but can spend only half the fuel this way. You need just half the fuel to deal with the meteorite. You have to get the drill next to meteorite and lock it before you can start. The meteorite has 2 phases, releasing different vibrations based on it's layer, attracting more walking glyphids in the first phase and more macteras in the second. The Drill has 2-3/4 of the Drilldozer body and is repaired the same way. After you complete cracking the meteor, the drill explodes and you can deposit the round meteor core (which is rounder and smaller than Ommoran one), and glows brighter than an enor pearl with light blue light.
Plz add a mob that looks like leaf sheep sea slugs 🥹
If you're alone in the lobby, you can take a beer over to drone modification to give to Bosco
He'll then carry it on the mission and you can take it back at any point, allowing you to drink on the job

We should be able to gamble on a rock race, each dwarf choose a rock and multiple dwarf can choose the same work. After making ur choice u decide the amount of gold u want to put on ur rock. There is information on the rocks like, time they win, their name and number as a horse race.
The race goes and take place as u make mission and after a couple mission u can se the winner and grabe ur price.

If DRG ever adds another class.... Here are some things I would love to see.

A man cannon. Thats right. You are allowed to setup a single cannon that players can launch themselves out of, and that they can swivel, and aim like a grenade toss. But for dwarves.

Some melee weapons. Picks are wonderful. But you know what would be amazing? Traditional dwarven style weapons. I can totally see a shield as the main hand weapon, along with upgrades that specifically give the pick an advantage while the dwarf is wielding the shield. Perhaps making the pick into a hammer that stuns. Or an axe for extra damage. Or an axe with a pick.

Some sort of healing ability. Not overpowered free healing. Specifically healing that is based off first absorbing red sugar, and then using it to heal wounds later on. Perhaps the ability places a slow heal over time trickle effect based on the redstone the healer has absorbed, along with an immediate one time shield recharge.

The Carrying of large kegs of beer into battle. Why? Because we are dwarves, thats why! Maybe the healing is tied to this. If a dwarf is injured, throw a dwarf lager at them, and they will perk right up.

Very rare random mission modifier triggering on dwarves rather than the cave (also to not punish new players, only on players of level 20+):
Dwarf forgot to bring ammo on the mission. They only have 1 magazine worth of ammo for all their equipment (or none/very little in case of weapons that don't have a magazine mechanic like the minigun).
Maybe have Mission Control acknowledge it after the start briefing: "Ugh, the supply department's telling me one of you lugs forgot to fill your ammo bags. I recommend you get working on getting some Nitra, the company doesn't do free handouts."

I think they should add custom overclocks for the people who have like 200 blank cores, let me elaborate: you spend like 5 blank matrix cores at the forge, at this point you can chose what buffs you want to apply to your weapon. In order to prevent people making downright op overclocks, there will be a cap to the buffs. Also the more buffs = more debuffs you will have to apply to the OC, but a slight buff will not require you to add a debuff
It'd be nice to have more mission type start and objective completed MC lines, because currently he only greets us on a mission with the exact same line. Especially the Egg Hunt start and On-site Refining refinery start ones are the most repetative imo. Egg Hunt also has "Excellent" instead of perfectly fitting "Eggcellent" when you complete the objective

When fighting the corruptor, Bosco should prioritize cleaning over shooting (Bosco deals barely any damage to the corruptor and doesn't even target the weak points, he'd be way more useful sucking up the lithofoam). Bosco also shouldn't change into attack mode when one of the corruptor final layers open. It's annoying to constantly ping the corruptor so the Bosco does something useful
It'd also be nice to have prioritization settings for Bosco. Like cleaning/attacking and mining/reviving. Especially when you start cleaning the rockpox spike you have to ping the foam first, otherwise enemies spawn 5 seconds later and distract Bosco from cleaning, which could be fixed if Bosco will prioritize cleaning over fighting

When you are caught by a leach in a solo mission, you should be able to tell bosco to fire a rocket at the leach, it may damage you, but it will be quicker than the leach eating you as bosco slowly creeps to the ceiling and fires.
move some of the cosmetics in the headwear section to the eyebrows section. i know it doesnt make sense logically, but it makes sense when it comes to designing your dwarves. take the cosmetic from this season pass for example, domed operator. its a headwear cosmetic that also removes your eyebrows, and due to its placement wouldnt actually clip or otherwise interfere with headwear cosmetics (for the most part, unless they have integrated glasses or other eyewear). i find it takes a bit of the personality away from your dwarf by removing their eyebrows, but i feel its even more of a bad tradeoff because it remvoes eyebrows AND takes up a headwear slot.
also, i had an idea for a mutator for missions. it would especially please people that are fans of the "oops, all bulks" mod and connect the lroe between exploders and bulk detonators even further. basically, the idea is that bulk detonators are so dangerous that even the glyphid swarm tends to avoid them, but like exploders they tend to stick together for socialization and form what ive dubbed "outcast nests". exploders would also congregate here, as they would eventually become detonators themselves and thus experience the same shunning behavior.
the technical aspects are: overall swarm size reduced by 15%, bulk detonator spawn rate and spawn cap are doubled, and exploders spawn 15-20% more frequently
I've been throwing water balloons at the biotanks and it's without mission control yelling at me stuff like, "Are you trying to get the Space Rig into containment breach lockdown?! Stop throwing things at the bloody biotanks!" or "You're going to get demoted for this kind of stupidity if you don't quit throwing things at the biotanks! Those idiots... Aaarghh!"
new victory move: shredder smash. the dwarf pulls out their pickaxe with a shredder impaled on the end of it, they pull off the shredder, throw it on the ground and stomp on it.
I FORGOT TO MENTION: the name of the mutator would be "wailing grounds", in reference to the wailing sound bulk detonators make that they are famous for.

Idea for the boomstick: make the final tier upgrades better. white phosphorus is good, but the other two just feel weak, maybe there could be one called Nitroglycerin mixture that causes any bullets within 4 meters of you to explode, dealing slightly more damage, or maybe give it hollow-point rounds or something, I know it sounds a bit absurd, but white phosporus shells is kinda the only viable final teir upgrade, and it sucks against anything with fire damage resistance, so I think it would be balanced.

A bug racing track in the abyss bar! Being able to trick your own bug out (lootbug youngling, worm, etc) with hats and other cosmetics could give people who already have everything unlocked something to spend stuff on, and it'd be nice to have an alternative game in the Abyss Bar that is just a little bit competitive. Maybe you could even bet minerals on the turnout?

During Solo Missions or times where its just you and Bosco, you can target the Resupply to make Bosco resupply, every Resupply replenishes 1 revive. To make it seem balanced, this can be added on Tier 2.

What if Laser Pointer was providing more information: Like when you hover over a mineral it shows it's icon in some corner and when you hover over an enemy it shows it's damage type(s) and enemy type (as a text or icon) (glyphid, mactera, naedocyte, etc.)
Snow and Sticky Goo lower fall damage just like platforms, but why not Goo from the Goo Sacks?

When using aggressive venting, the overheat voice lines don’t make a ton of sense- maybe something like “FEEL THIS HEAT, BUGS!” On overheat. Just feels odd decimating a swarm with a drak overheat and hearing them say “DaMn OvErHeAtInG!!!”

Space rig customization option idea:
A space rig petting zoo. If you pet something in a cave enough times you get the option to bring it home with you, and if you do, it lives in a little corral on the space rig (perhaps in that corner near the jetty boot game, behind the bar). You can only have one thing in there at a time, so getting a new one replaces the old one. It could be Steeve, or a mouth plant, or even a loot bug

Players should have the ability to pick up and move supply drops on maps that have the 02 deficit trait AND don't have a molly bot. On those maps, if a player carelessly calls in a supply drop near the base, it can make the map impossible to finish, because their 02 runs out and theres no way to get enough nitra to be able to call in another supply drop. 😦
All season levels that give Phazyonite give just 10 for some reason, even though it gives hundreds of other minerals with cosmetic tree giving just 50 of other minerals and 30 Phazyonite, making it even more weird. Season levels should give 30 Phazyonite instead of 10
I would love to have more armor like Event armor. for example in the curent Event some swimming trunks or an floaty you can wear. matching the hats
Stingtail melee attack should knock dwarves back to make it more balanced (and i think it makes sense). It deals too much damage for it's high attack rate, especially when a slasher stuns you or there's 12 bugs surrounding it already. It also should take more time to attack, stingtail should be more of support than attack imo
Add some spare piprails (even if their just junk) around the space rig, because of that one line where the dwarf your playing as says “we have some spare pipe rails around the station, just sayin.”

What if there was some minerals hidden in the walls? With a small chance (10%-20%) 1-2 biome ore veins may spawn inside the walls (around 2x times bigger than usual), and 2-4 special lootbugs will spawn that can sense this ore in the wall, basically marking it's location (just make them not leave a certain area). It also may be some geodes (hollow and round) that consist of certain biome ore and also contain some ore bits inside (small enough to have just 2x or 3x of biome ore), and this way normal lootbugs can be used to mark it (and it'll be easy to find with your terrain scanner)
The septic spreader goo should be able to be lit on fire like how you can do it with the sludge pump (and maybe even goo from goo bomber,goo sack or the goo from fungus bog)
Adding on, maybe an exchange for minerals at a horrendous markup, like 15 phazyonite per mineral or smthn, just so it doesn’t become pointless
DRG should have a giant spider as enemy
It should be a rare boss enemy that just walks around a cave and slowly fills it with (new) webs (that can be at an angle or cover the floor/ceiling), making it look like a whole nest if left alone for long enough
Webs should still appear as usual in missions without the spider, that way the players might get scared because they see a lot of webs and it may be the boss but maybe not
this would explain where the webs come from and adding something like this also gives the opportunity to change them a bit so they arent just 2d images that hang from the ceiling
The fact that the mk5 scout armor mentions a sandwich pack yet doesn't allow you to heal a teammate for a bit of health feels like a bit of a missed opportunity. (To me at least)

More uses of the tablet. For example when you open the map to others your holding the "calldown" tablet but the map is just a pop up. It would be cool if you actually pulled it out to look at it.

a caretaker level boss fight for the natives of hoxxes, this fight would center around the idea that we missed a glyphid cocoon or two and now a glyphid broodmother has set up shop in the area. destroy her nest and, if possible, her before they make operations in the area impossible.
A. elimination style caves with 3 rooms branching off.
B. each room contains 2 glyphid nests (think swarmer tunnels but larger and have a few eggs dotted about) that cant be destroyed by conventional means. max 6 in a mission, minimum 4. it spawns glyphids of course.
C. mission control sends down a "pulse bomb" that has to be guarded until it charges. when it finishes it cleanses the whole room of enemies and destroys the 2 nests in the room.
upon destruction of all nests, the glyphid broodmother spawns at LZ. this give the dwarves some time to set up and prepare. optional ideas would be mission control sending down turrets the dwarves can build to make the fight easier.
the glyphid broodmother would essentially be a bigger hiveguard. slower, tougher, slight redesign, and a few new abilities like summoning small swarms instead of sentinals and maybe a slam attack like a bulk instead of the bombs. still wip and the devs could probably come up with something better.
kill the broodmother and gtfo. job done.

thats kind of the issue. not even the scout has true sustained flight with his overclocks, which are some of the most powerful movement tools in the game.
gunner getting sustained flight in exchange for a small sacrifice of ammo would almost completely break his role.
not even the jet boots give sustained flight for long and they are a rare once per mission powerup.
Balance:
Significantly increase RoF
Decreased damage
Takes a lot of ammo to actually get height
Basically just a minor hover thing that requires significant investment for actual super mobility
i can see where you are going with this i guess, but it would have to be a pretty good benefit in movement to trade off for gunners largets class trait, big damage from his primary.
thats where you run into problems; if its too balanced either way either the damage becomes impotent and gimps gunner as a class, or if the movement isnt good enough it doesnt justify the trade off, making it be another overclock sitting in the dust via the likes of old manual guidance cutoff.
thats why i agree and think it should be made a secondary option, like the coilgun. it doesnt gimp his primaries damage potential, fits beside other similar secondary ocs like rj250, while still giving gunner more mobility.
you could even work it into the lore reasoning , saying that they've channeled even more force out of the magnetic coils but it broke the recoil dampening system.
a grappling hook to have back at the space station. it's just so good and fluid to use, especially with jet boots.
I am once again asking for the ability to toggle the gorget (neck guard) on certain armors, because many of the helmets clip with it.
Would be nice to be able to toggle just the gorget and not the rest of the chest armor that beards remove.
Allow Glyphid Sentinels to spawn as part of Swarms, potentially another alt to Praetorians?
I know many will disagree with me, but, having played DRG since early access, I feel as though recent additions have been steps in the wrong direction. The whole rockpox content just does not appeal to me.
At the very least, I feel as though the static rockpox that you need to cleanse should be optional/bonus mission objectives outside the actual set of rockpox specific missions you sign up for.
The more recent rockpox corruptor is simply un-fun for me. It slows down the mission and is annoying to combat. I know a lot of hard work was put into modeling/animating/coding/etc., but if it were removed I would be a happy dwarf. Honestly, I'd rather a haunted mission over encountering it, and I don't like those either.
Other nitpicks include the two latest enemy types (stingtail and the toxic whatever). Again, wouldn't miss them if they magically disappeared forever; the stingtail, especially, feels cheap when you get one-shot off a cliff... Again, I feel that they throw off the flow of the game. Also, probably intentional, for easy identification, but they look, visually, out of place - as though they aren't even glyphids. Just my two cents.

Rockpox Fortress where you clear some spikes next to a huge meteorite that was left alone and allowed to sprout.
Basically like a sabotage mission but against rockpox with somewhat different mechanics.
You get sent in with a BET-C that you can command with the laser pointer like Bosco to focus on specific enemies.
Maybe a new enemy type: Rockpox sentinel, a humanoid abomination made of rocks, stones and rockpox holding it together. It holds a piece of hardened carapace infront of itself like a shield and uses it to hit dwarves and fling them away. It has a weakpoint on its back that exposes something similar to a plagueheart and its front carapace can be chipped away if hit with a pickaxe power attack.
At the end of the mission you secure a rockpox infected ommoran hearthstone that was the center of the entire infectiong and leave BET-C behind, letting the suckers attach to it and take control of it (more of a lore thing that I thought could be a nice touch)

Perk idea: elemental guns
You can dip your gun into something elemental (green too, electricity crystal, iridiated crystals, magma, ice ect) and it deals a special effect in addition to their normal loadout.
Downed Dialogue idea: Death-Dependent Voicelines

The Issue
When you get downed in DRG, it's usually common courtesy to type in chat what downed you if whatever downed you is an immediate threat to anyone trying to revive you.
But when it's difficult to do that (Not having a mic, not having a keyboard. Mainly issues on console), it can take too long to do it w/o your teammates getting hurt, or just never really getting said at all.
The Solution
When dwarves are initially downed, if whatever killed them can be an immediate threat to whoever is trying to revive you, such as...
- Leeches
- Spitballers
- Acid Spitters
- Stingtails
- Septics Spreaders
- Bulk Detonators
- Etc.
Then the Dwarf will blurt out whatever got them downed to give the team an immediate heads-up.
what it we could put TWO overclocks in the same weapon (you could put one type of each) like, if theres two slots, you could put one red and yellow, but never two of the same color.
Could the new glasses cosmetic be moved to the eyebrow slot? It removes the eyebrows anyways and id like to wear a helmet with them.

A new type of mission similar to Industrial Sabotage. Your objective is to destroy a rivals Drone factory with a weapon specifically used to destroy it. It is similar to the Refining Morkite Mission where instead of calling in pumpjacks, you call in 3 Signal Relays which will be used to assist the weapon to arrive near the Factory. Once it arrives, small supply drops which contain the fuel for the weapon will arrive where you will need to maintain the weapon by carrying the fuel to it.
Mission control would say along the lines of "A rival have setup in one of our future mining sites and deployed a Drone Factory which is mining OUR resources, go in and deploy the Relays for us to pin point the location and send the "Weapon" to destroy the factory."
You can also make it similar to Doretta where it has it own HP. Though it might be a bit hard for solo since you are defending it and resupplying it at the same time, but still interesting.
Beast master buff: you can tame a single lootbug instead of glyphid and instead of fighting for you lootbug can store extra 20 resources inside of it, you can take them from it any time without killing lootbug and it will follow you around with twice lootbug's speed
A small spreadsheet with nothing but class-specific counters for the stingtail, since people won't stop complaining about stingtails.
Okay, here's a bit of an odd one: Glyphid Mimics.
Based on Ant-Mimicking Spiders, these creatures are not actually Glyphids, but disguise themselves as part of the hive for protection and food.
They spawn as part of Grunt groups, with their body curled up so they resemble a Grunt from a distance. However, they will eventually drop the act and uncurl into a fast, lanky bug that dishes out devastating melee attaks. The trigger for this transformation could be them taking damage or getting close enough to a Dwarf.
Dwarf dialogue about them could be pretty fun:
"Look out, that's not a Grunt!"
"That Grunt is a Mimic!"
There could even be some unique lines if you try to use Beastmaster on them:
"Hold on... You're not Steeve!"
"Wait a second!"
Think we'll ever see more craft(able) beers? Got a decent selection, but we could always stand to get new stock. (Kind of sad there was no coconut drink for the pool party, but eh...)
Add attak helicopter
Add in a new way to get pickaxe parts. Helmets are unusual to come across and easy to miss, not to mention they don’t always contain a pickaxe part. IMO pickaxe customization is a big part of what makes a dwarf feel special; and I don’t think the difficultly of attaining a decent amount of pickaxe parts is at a good place right now. Maybe introduce a system similar to the lost helmet, but it’s a “Lost Pickaxe”, rewarding a guaranteed pickaxe part. Should make the grind a bit easier, and introduce some new variation to the caves.

I had an idea for a while involving an armored lootbug and breakable burials for the heavier dead glyphids that drop an armor resource to temporarily buff armor value (with a limited ceiling) until it's taken damage. I'm a bit new so I don't know how heavily this would impact the game, but I figured it could be a cool here and there thing to see.
please show bosco returning from missions with you. going out there alone is already kinda lonely, seeing the robot get left behind just stings
edit: i know this idea isnt new, i just havent seen it yet in my time being here.
And as already suggested a while ago Bosco should kinda pack and go into your pocket like a sentry instead of exploding when someone joins

Unique Class overclocks (ideas)
Scout: Trick Shot: While you are 5-10 or more meters above the ground you passively reload your active gun. You don't get this reload if you remain grappled to something. (e.g. 3 ammo per second from you reserves to your active gun (depends on the gun)). Or While in the air your bullets have a 7.5% chance to bounce to 1 enemy dealing 75% of its damage (max bounce per bullet 1)
Scout: On The Move: You can shoot while you run but your accuracy is hindered alot and you can't aim down sights.
Engineer: Vantage Point: While your turrets are 5 or more meters above the ground and on a platform they get 10 meters extra range.
Engineer: Armed Maul: You can place a turret on Molly but the rate of fire and accuracy is decreased.
Driller: Can't Stop This Dwarf: While your drills are over heated you mine faster and you aren't slowed by hitting creatures with your pickaxe.
Driller: Delicate Drills: You can drill minerals and pick them up but your drills overheat faster and drain fuel faster while doing so.
Gunner: Last Stand: While your shield is out of charges you get a 5-10% damage reduction. Or increase your damage by 5%.
Gunner: Bug Zapper Lines: Your ziplines now hold an electric charge that diminishes overtime, damaging and occasionally stunning nearby enemies.
It doesn't have to be these just some ideas.
I haven't thought of balance but thought something like this could give each Dwarf some more interesting and unique playstyles and I think it would be pretty cool to see more overclocks for things like characters and support items like the shield and turrets.
Like playing risky with the grappling hook zipping around by the cave ceiling and shooting down at the bugs seems really fun. But at the moment it is way too risky with little reward. Though the rocket boots might break this idea a bit.
Can we get an option to not do industrial sabotage in every assignment? It's some bs that I need to do that dogshit mission every time to get a promotion. None of my friends like that crap and it takes absolute ages. I'd rather do 10x dorreta in a row because at least that is fun.
Add an AOE effect to Electrifying Reload/ER.
Have it follow the same principle as Embedded Detonators; dump enough bullets into an enemy then reload, it causes an explosion that deals some damage to nearby enemies and electrocutes them. Less emphasis to the damage on the target however.
not a bad idea, until it gets implimented tho the doom assault rifle sound mod would be a good replacement. its what i use cus i hada similar issue. client side only too so no need to make a modded save for it.
new miniboss type enemy falling into the rival catagory; the mule rustler.
an altered version of the prospector, the rivals have gotten sick of the dwarves fucking with their operations so have decided to hit DRG in the one place where it actually hurts them: their profits.
this altered, weaponized prospector would utilize the legs it has to pick up and run away with molly. spawning only on rival threat missions occasionally, it would be a timed fight where it slowly siphons away some of the minerals you've collected (non neccessary to the mission only, like crafting minerals and gold to prevent soft locks) at a maximum of 50% minerals stolen, before dropping the mule and teleporting away. (perhaps damaging it could reduce the amount stolen , even if you fail to kill it)
if you manage to defeat the mule rustler, you not only get your own minerals back, but a 25% bonus to the minerals/gold youv'e collected at the end of the mission and the data cell you get from a normal prospector. (implying its stolen from other teams before)
of course this could also add some more voicelines where the dwarves would get mad at the rustler for daring to go after molly, and maybe a repair phase for her after she gets dropped where they apologize for her ending up in the state she's in.
of course it wouldn't spawn during swarms and swarms wouldn't be able to spawn while the fight was active, and maybe a restriction on its spawning based on nitra or ammo count that way you aren't stuck watching molly be flown away without being able to order a resupply so you can actually hunt the thing down.

Unstable warthog oc that lets you hold down the firing button to charge up a fast multi burst shot. Maximum charge of 5 bursts. Hitting the max amount of bursted shots on a target's weakpoint stuns them. Balance it out forcing the gun to stay semi auto, adding largely increased recoil when firing bursted shots, and reducing overall accuracy. Call it "Burst Chamber System."
Next season there definitely has to be MC annoyed voicelines for everything dwarves can ping for hours. At the very least for the goo sacks:
"There's goo in the sack? You'll become the goo in the sack if you won't quit fooling around!"
"Goo sack, goo sack... I'll definitely ask management to reduce amount of missions you have in the Hollow Bough."
Some Warning Modifier ideas
Flare Disruption: A strange interference makes your Flares (and Scout's) no longer work, it's just you and your flashlight.
Intoxicated Atmosphere: A strange mix in the air made the dwarves feel intoxicated and sometimes make their vision blurry and move unwillingly. Management will start inspecting Dwarves if they brought beer during their missions.
Gravity Pull: Another gravitational irregularity makes the gravity feel heavier. You jump lower, and everything seems to fall faster than it should.
Suggestion for a new active perk called, "Emergency Refit"
Before using this perk, the player must pick another loadout within the same class to serve as the "Equipment".
Effect: Press 7 (Or any key that is binded), and the user would be able to call down a "Supply Pod" called "[Player Name]'s Equipment Pod", this pod would allow the player to change their current loadout into the "Equipment" they've selected earlier before the start of the mission.
Notes:
- Ammo percentages of each category are passed over during this change in loadout (To prevent a "Free Ammo" exploit), IE If you have 24% ammo left in your Leadstorm, upon changing to a loadout that uses the Hurricane, that hurricane would be at 24% of its total ammo.
- This "Equipment pod" perk could only be used once per mission, and as said earlier, it only allows the player to change into another loadout that they've selected earlier before the start of the mission.
- The other loadout must also have "Emergency Refit" (Without the ability to call in another "Equipment Pod", to avoid a "chain reaction" of equipments) on it as well, to allow more consistency with number of usable perk slots.
- You can change back to your initial loadout (and vice versa) at anytime, with the caveat being that the changing of loadouts onsite must be done at the location where the "Equipment Pod" was dropped, IE if you want to change back to your initial loadout, you have to run all the way back to the "Equipment Pod". (And... it takes a few seconds to change, similar to grabbing supplies)
- The purpose of this perk to allow players to have greater levels of flexibility with their loadouts, especially if they are too specialized (EG: Cyro Drillers), to respond to unexpected threats that their gear was never meant for. (EG: Nemesis, Random Dreadnaughts).
- Smartstout later, "We keep running into threats that we were not prepared for, oh wait, what if we shoved our other gears into one of those supply pods?"

unstable overclock, description: due to reckless handling, it seems the focusing lenses were damaged. thankfully r&d were able to make this into a feature, and now this baby fires multiple bouncy beams at once, though it puts one hell of a strain on the battery.
shard diffractor beam now splits into multiple (3), less powerful beams that fire in odd directions and bounce off surfaces a maximum of 2 times before pettering out (if all beams hit one target it does the total damage of stock). beams can blow through up to one extra target.
each beam does less damage, less heat, and they dont fire in a regular pattern which can make aiming difficult (think an obtuse triangle with each point being a beam, and the widest angle of the tirangle is at the top of the crosshair)
battery discharges at 2.5x rate
(secret "downside") potential for workplace injuries via friendly fire increased by at least 3x

Sure theres plenty of sources for info like YT tutorials, game wikis and steam guides but a new player might not know where to look and having a channel or two dedicated to sharing useful tips would benefit greybeards as much as greenbeards.
This is a weird one, but I really want more maggot variations for the different biomes! Sure some of them have different colors depending on the biome, but the explosive maggot from magma core is the only one that has a meaningful difference!

Sorry another super long one.
So I have been playing the bored game and I love the keep going until you die deep dive mechanic. However we don't have it in the video game we can only do 3 missions and it is either win or lose, which is fine, but I want to see my load out last as long as it can on a never ending Deep dive. What I want is a challenge that is how long can you last or a way to add missions to the deep dives e.g. 3 missions base but I want to go further and add an extra 2 missions to the total or I tick the endless box which is keep going and get as much score, minerals and credits as possible before dying.
Though this would need a massive change and a way to keep progress between logging off and taking a break. Maybe After every 5 missions you reach a bunker of sorts so you can chill out for a bit and maybe get like 10% of you resources back or not.
Oh and obviously getting harder each mission or bunker stop adding more hazards like caveleach cluster and exploder infestation maybe to a max of 4 maybe 5 depending on how far you are. And maybe adding upto 2-3 anomalies as a reward for doing so well.
And maybe having a 75% resource keep rate so when you do die you still keep a massive chunk of your hard work

Mission: Lootbug herding Description: A large population of lootbugs has been found in a cave network with a very special mineral that only is usable after a lootbug has eaten it. Due to a surplus of extra Drilldozer heads R&D was able to reuse them and create a special vehicles that would allow miners to load and unload lootbugs for mineral grazing. How it would work: like an escort mission the players would get dropped down with escort a vehicle but they would have to wrangle loot bugs in and out of it using a special device. The mission could have multiple stops where the special mineral is located and the miners would have to defend the herd from bugs and make sure the lootbugs don't run away. At the very end of the mission a special drop pod would be come down and the players have to load the lootbugs into it before leaving and reward is affect by how many are still alive and in the drop pod.
idea: if you drink mactera brew and jump into the barrel hoop while under the effects you explode like a mini-nuke and mission control comments on it (asking what the hell just happened)

Shard Diffractor Overclock Rebalance: Automated Beam Controller

The Issue
So, Automated Beam Controller, on a brief glance, looks pretty balanced. You lose the ability to control when your beam stops (without an ammo penalty), but you get a lot more ammo. That's not the issue, the issue comes when you compare it to the only other OC that does give ammo: Efficiency Tweaks. Here's abrief overview of the stats....
Efficiency Tweaks
- +50 ammo capacity
- +25 charge capacity (75 ammo total)
Automated Beam Controller
- +100 reserve ammo
- 0.8x charge capacity (90 ammo total)
- +4 discharge rate
- -0.2 recharge rate
- Beam continues to fire until empty
-
- addendum: If you cancel firing by switching weapons, mining, etc, you lose 50% of the remaining capacity
Despite the upsides of being able to continue firing after your charge runs out sooner, you hardly get any more ammo than an Overclock with absolutely no downsides, and you can easily use up that ammo advantage by canceling firing a single time. Just once.
Note: I understand this OC is meant to bring the Diffractor in-line with its original incarnation, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be able to compete with its alternatives.
The Solution
The Solution to this issue is to simply make that "a lot more ammo" actually live up to its claims. Simply adding an extra +100 (or +75) ammo to this Overclock's existing ammo pool would make it last longer, and be competitive with its alternatives simply because it actually does have an ammo lead if you use it right (while still letting Efficiency Tweaks have a flexibility advantage).
Reminder: Efficiency Tweaks only has 15 less ammo. And is much more flexible, while Automated Beam Controller loses its ammo advantage if you cancel firing once, or waste any significant part of the beam's duration.
Can we get matching weapon and armor skins now? Stuff like the Brassy Swirls are so gorgeous, but seem impossible to find gun palettes that can go well with them. We may be rough neck dwarves, but we can still be fabulous dwarves!
Just got an idea for a new Gunner primary weapon:
A cannon firing liquid nitrogen shells.
Would work similar to the existing Thunderhead, but without the weapon firing speed increasing and with a fairly slow rate of fire. But, in addition to normal direct damage, the nitrogen cannon would do freezing damage over a small area. Possible upgrades would include larger area of effect damage at the expense of direct damage and vice-versa, as well as things like increased fire rate, higher accuracy, armour stripping shell tips or heavier shells that would do higher ballistic damage.
Oh, right. What about the ability to add overclocks to the pickaxe, armour, grenades or support tools?
Mission: Search and Destroy
Description: Sonar readings suggest a Glyphid Hive taking form in this cave network. You're getting deployed to go in, retrieve any larvae (R&D business), and rig the structure with thermonuclear charges. Due to the nature of the mission, expect ferocious resistance. To support, we've been cleared to deploy an older model BET-C platform from storage. She won't have the latest weapons systems, but it's the best you're getting. Get in, grab the larvae, and blow the whole cave system to Hell. Good luck.

A special beer that makes you hallucinate going on an impossible mission, then when you inevitably die you wake up in the infirmary.
Basically a solo mini game to see how many rounds you last. If there's a party and someone starts a mission, you still see the timer and get forced out when it's time to load

maybe instead of a fully fledged mission it could be some form of jetty boot esc sidescroller? not as intensive on the devs to make. plus it would be funny for the dwarves to play so much jetty boot they hallucinate themselves to be in a videogame.
Bulks should not be able to spawn close to droppods. It doesn't have to be a huge exclusion zone, but to date I've seen two bulks spawn touching the droppod. Just a little distance is all I ask, so when one shows up while we are all lined up to go in, it doesn't just wipe the party

Bulks shouldn't be allowed to spawn too close to players anywhere.
The entire point of them is to be disruptive through how extremely threatening they are, killing you in one hit with a huge AoE attack, then causing a titanic 100% lethal explosion on death. This is usually balanced by their extremely slow speed, obvious (and very loud) sounds, and ember aura.
None of those balancing factors matter if they spawn in killing range of a player.

When you point the laser pointer at a teammate and press E, the game should make your dwarf say a voiceline corresponding to what dwarf you pinged, such as asking scout for flares, asking engie for platforms, driller for drilling, and gunner for shields/zipline.

A tutorial on how to deal with rockpox because people just can't seem to understand how to get rid of it.
new driller primary: TAZER CANNON
this new primary weapon would have 2 functions:
by tapping fire once, shoot out a short, wide angle burst of electrifying energy. short range, small damage, guaranteed electrocution.
but by holding down the fire button for several seconds, you can charge up an arc shot.
basically a massive arc of electricity that now does massive single target damage, medium range, electrocution, and stuns medium to small enemies, perhaps it would bounce to a couple really close targets.
overheat mechanic like the EPC, eats through ammo like the cryo cannon.
Lootbug imposter, looks like a lootbug but devours your soul if you get too close 
If Dystrum on Mining missions was thought to be too much mining then I think Gunk Seed on Point Extraction is also too much delivering big objects.
Dorretta should have a armor upgrade with side mounted dual flamethrowers and a beer dispenser at the back, so we can drink while rock and stoning on the hearthstone
suggestion: when the strong arm perk is equipped you throw beer mugs further just like you do with flares
REPAIR THE SHIELD
With the new update many of the new enemies and even the old ones like the Shellback or Mactera can damage you while inside the shield. Suggestion is that you improve the shield to prevent any kind of enemy from being able to damage you inside the shield.
Since we already have a break-action and semi-auto shotgun, I would love to see a pump-action shotgun added to the game.
The gun in question is based off the real-life KS23. It fires a very large caliber shell that deals high damage with a high pellet count at the cost of slow RPM and low magazine size, as well as low total ammo. Up close, it can clear a swarm's frontline with a single shot or deal massive damage to tanky bugs. At medium-long range, it can considerably weaken an medium-sized swarm, provided that the pellet spread can encompass most of the swarm. To differ it to the generalist Warthog and panic weapon Boomstick, this gun would encourage players to place their shots well, as spamming the (already slow) weapon will quickly deplete the player's ammo on small, easily manageable swarms. Think of it as a slow M1000 with better swarm clear.
suggested OCs/mods:
-Flechette rounds add blowthrough for more swarm clear
-Flashbang rounds allows the player to inflict slow/stun on a large swarm at the cost of slightly reduced damage. Also inflicts slight amounts of heat
-Slug rounds for remarkable single-target damage at the cost of swarm clear. Adds extra blowthrough
-Birdshot increases pellet count in exchange for lower overall damage output
-Dragon's Breath shells set enemies on fire
-Mini-grenades shoots tiny projectiles which are affected by gravity. Basically trades its single-target damage for superior swarm clear at any range
-Speedloader increases empty reload speed
a somewhat low chance for mission control to rock and stone when you rock and stone (somewhat low so it doesn't get annoying)
A Perk that lets you occasionally use glyphids as temporary weapons.
Some examples:
- Rip off the claw of a Slasher as a temporary makeshift sword/skewer (armor breaking and piercing).
- Normal/Guards as a temporary club/flail (a small bit of frontal aoe swinging). You swing it's whole body, with a front claw as a handle.
- Pick up and throw an Exploder.
- Acid/Web Spitter as a small and limited ammo ranged weapon.

New mission type: Overwhelm
In the overwhelm mission type, all classes get an additional ability that they can use to interact with resupply pods, and there are far far more swarms than usual. The overwhelm mission type is a survival mission with a countdown. All overwhelm missions come with low oxygen.
Resupply pods: Resupply pods can be upgraded with scraps. Scraps are collected by killing enemies. Turrets have a battery, and a power supply.
Engineers: Engineers can build a laser turret on resupply pods using scraps. Laser turrets will engage enemies when a dwarf is near the turret. Each shot drains power.
Gunners: Gunners can build up to 3 ziplines using scraps that connect to the resupply pods.
Scouts: Scouts can use scraps to equip the resupply pod with a light that illuminates the room. It does not consume power, but will turn on when the turret is fully charged, and will turn off and stay off until fully charged when the turret's power is depleted.
Drillers: Drillers can use scraps to equip the resupply pods with the recharger. This allows the supply pod to recharge its power when no dwarves are nearby.
Gameplay: Players drop supply pods through out the cave, and build a network of supply pod strongholds. As each supply pod or group of supply pods runs out of power, they have to build new supply pod fortresses far enough away from the old forts that the old ones can recharge. As the game progresses, more and more enemies swarm to the point that the game converts from mining nitra to running away from the swarms from stronghold to stronghold. Players must survive til the timer expires, at which point a drop pod will land. The drop pod landing time is hard set from the start.
I don’t know how hard it is to or how long it takes to animate things, but when making overclocks, if you could add something to the forge that the dwarf is hammering, it would be much cooler than hammering nothing.
I Genuinely enjoy watching the animation that play when you press R with a full clip/magazine, but there is one inconsistency I found rather annoying...
The one between the hurricane and the Autocannon.
When pressing R while wielding the hurricane, if you do not have part of your clip and are unable to reload, your gunner will shake their fist, being annoyed there is no rocket to play with
With the Autocannon however, even if you have no ammo left, your gunner will still grab a round from nowhere and just balance it.
What pisses me off however, is that he has a bullet he isn't using that could land him a good kill and save his ass so either shove it in the gun or don't have it exist you dork!
Long story short: I'd like to see a no ammo R animation for the Autocannon similar to what the hurricane has.
Make things like molly and the drilldozer count as ground for the zipline launcher (it says "not grounded" when trying to fire one off the dozer)

New Mission: Astroid Mining; pretty self explanatory but you're out in a astroid field and you mine special materials and tethered to a new type spacecraft that constantly moves. So, you must hurry and gather the requested ores and maybe new enemies that can survive the harsher climates of space.
Space rig addition: a guest board where if you want you can sing your nickname so it will stay there to see for other players in hosts lobby, bassicly the same as getting a score in jetty boots but you cant get removed without host approval
Living Quarters customisation: could introduce decorative items for your living quarters in the shop that you can buy with phazyonite like for example a plant pot with an apoca bloom or a piece of co gold
to spice your room up and be able to have something thats yours and show your friends
If you are out of revives in solo missions Bosco should make a little "sorry" Beep noise and when you go down with Iron WIll he should make that beep but alot louder just to let you know when he is out of revives also more Bosco interactions
Dead ends claustrophobic spaces smaller tunnels I think all of these would add to the game since your in a giant cave system it’s weird that the caves are so perfectly made for you to fit through and always end up somewhere it would also make you actually mine, for a game with fully breakable surrounding you really don’t notice it that much you mostly just mine the ground if you have to get up a small ledge or reach some mineral.
That's a good idea, i would also add a possibility of somehow returning empty mugs (maybe spot on bar somewhere near tips) to Bartender, he could also make some sound showing his thankfulness for us cleaning after ourselves (cleaning those hundreds of mugs and cups after us every day must be tiring).
I think it also would be amazing if we could get a refill to used mug.

Instead of the ice just breaking instantly when frozen glyphids thaw, it should melt slowly which would be more realistic and also allow us dwarves to tell when the frozen bugs will be free.
Can you please let us have a toggle that acts as if the ctrl button is always held down? We need to have the team information fed to us constantly and in the ui and locking it behind actively pressing ctrl instead of having ctrl be a toggle is just painful on the fingers.

See the pieces of the pickaxe are cosmetic, true, but maybe certain types are better against enemies over mining and vice versa? maybe where a pickaxe takes 3 swings, an axe may take 4, but less swings to kill a bug?

Minor gripe: Molly should be subject to gravity when still, especially when terrain is destroyed underneath. Currently that isn't the case. If a bulk detonator blows up the area where Molly is, she'll just float in the air until you call again.
I know some people that have refused to get the game because of its gore ( I know spider gore isn’t a problem for me but it is for them I guess ) so a gore slider like 1 full gore. 2 no blood (but keep the dismemberment). 3 full blood but no dismemberment. And 4 no blood or dismemberment. Of course the default setting would be 1 full gore
Option to disable the camera shake/movement when reloading, pickaxing, weapon flourishing etc. (edited- also happens when you shoot and deposit and idle animation)

Sticky Grenade: Increase damage dealt from 130<200.
(I believe this grenade could be reworked entirely, but, if we want to Not rework it, I think just buffing the damage significantly would make it work much better and actually feel like it has an impact on the enemy its thrown at compared to now where it feels almost useless)
Incendiary Grenade: Carried amount increased from 4<6, Increased duration from 6<8 seconds.
(I have used this nade the least so I think I am less able to give it a fair buff, but, I genuinely think it would be extremely valuable if given these buffs while not being broken.An alternative concept I think Could be interesting, would be if the flames did not deal damage to you or your allies and could be used as more of a support/control grenade, giving you and your allies another protected area to stand in, all of Gunners other grenades are moderately hazardous to your teammates and even yourself at times(Leadburster cough cough) so, having a more support oriented grenade option could be very welcome, and give the incendiary grenade even more of a special use.
Cluster Grenade: Bomblet stun chance increased from 50<80%, Bomblet stun duration increased from 1.5<3 seconds.
(This is meant to separate it from the Leadburster and actually give a reason to use it over the Leadburster with its stun potential)
Leadburster feels extremely fun to use, but the only bad thing about it in my opinion is that is devalues the Gunner's other grenades, Gunner's grenades should be particularly powerful and impactful considering he is meant to be The damage class, so I feel the leadburster should be the base for balance when it comes to his grenades.
Because in my opinion, Buffs>Nerfs when it comes to this game! Please give me some constructive criticism and tell me your thoughts about these changes! <3

new assignment type: R&D field testing
if you are like me, half the fun of playing DRG is roleplaying as a dwarf simply trying to get what management wants during their equivalent to a 9 to 5, so it can be a little on the boring side just playing random missions without some assignment added motivation.
so, R&D would essentially request the dwarves to do random things like "take the flamethrower into your next mission because R&D wants to see how their upgrades to fuel efficiency are holding up"
rewards could be as simple as a random minerals and credits bonus for the mission, and the available field testing missions could reset every day with maybe a max of 3 to choose from with other similar simple tasks.
the benefit of this would be encouraging players to use loadouts, weapons, perks etc that they usually wouldnt, giving them some more experience with them and prolonging the gameplay loop by breaking up the cycle players get into of using the same loadout over and over again.

If you are on solo mission and while having the laser pointer out, pressesing and holding E or something will allow Bosco to "we're rich" or "Mushroom" with you, without him picking up the mineral chunks and with him having little beeps to go with it.
Maybe have mission control say something like "Bosco, please don't encourage this behaviour" in a sad, defeated and let down voice.
Also I had a thought where dwarves and Bosco react to mission control. for example with this line, Bosco does a little "giggle" beep or an "I'm sorry mission control" beep.
It just gets a little lonely while down there with an almost silent Bosco

Liquid gold refining side mission:
Rare side mission, in which on map spawns something similar to liquid morkite dig site, but gold colored.
First stage, would be a simple "find and call for a refinery". For what happens afterwards, I have few ideas:
- It just extract gold from floor, you have to "defend it" (more like survive bug waves while it's working).
Then you send it back to rig. - After calling refinery, you have to connect it to three storage pods. After you connect them, you just switch it on
and wait for extraction to finish (the process could work like in morkite extraction with jamming and stuff).
Then you have to unconnect storage pods from pipes and manually send them to rig. - After cleaning gold from unwanted pollution, machine makes from extracted material gold bars.
You have to deposit each one of them manually.
May I make a suggestion: Drunk bugs.
We have our dwarves on alcoholic binges plenty; so why don't we see how dreadful Hoxxes can be drunk? Like the shipments famous for not crashing on the planet could have accidentally dropped shipments of beer for the local wildlife to slurp up!
Possibilities include...
- Rando Hoarder: huuli hoarder on randoweisser, produces an error cube or two, but glitches and phases through weapons sometimes.
- Smart Scabber: grabbers got hit by Smart Stout and can carry the unused resupplies somewhere else.
- Wormhole Dreadnought: less special abilities, but faster, hits harder, and never flinches! Plus with it's shit faced nature, can teleport at times.
- Drunk Spitter/Mactera/Spitball plants: attacks now make the dwarf more drunk for a small period of time, but they also deal less damage. Don't get too drunk before you knockout!
- DUI slammerback: Shellback that wrecklessly destroys walls as it rams them at faster speeds, leaving itself vulnerable only after crashing for a small period of time.
- Gut Bomber: poors Gut Wrecker goo that flows freely, but if you're caught under it, you are hyper drunk for a period of time and can't stop the burps. Pinging gets harder as you cannot speak for a period of time.
- Flint Leech: once grabbed, you and the leech explode together unless you can be saved from reaching it's maw...!
- Brootbug: These drunken lootbugs stumble everywhere! Careful they don't roll into you and make you drop your minerals carried.
- Leaf Lovin' Tyrant Weed: who knew such a weak brew could be a leaf grower's steroid? These megafauna are far more formidable than the standard tyrants.
A pirate hat!
There should be another way to get cargo crates, perhaps as an additional reward for completing the elite deep dive, or a weekly hunt like the cores. Or, at the very least, increase the spawn rate of them.
When a player activates iron will, there's a 1% chance the dwarf will start emenating rapid banjo noises.
The dwarf could also sing or hum something just like "leavin on a jet boot nanana..."
Suggestion: Diggy Diggy Holes
There is an extremely rare chance that while breaking terrain or crystals that the dwarf will hum a small bit of "Diggy diggy hole" by the yogscast

Scout grenade idea:
The Ultra Sonic Sound Emitter (USSE For Short):
A grenade for the scout that emits ultra sonic sound waves which are so high pitched that any creature capable of hearing it within 5 meters flees in terror.
For clarification this grenade is supposed to kinda be used like a path clearer. Like you throw the grenade and run after it in the safety of the fear zone
Stats (Just placeholder since i dunno how to balance things):
- Like 4-6 grenades or sumthn
- Applies fear effect to any hostile creature within 5 meters.
- Fear effect starts immedeatly after throwing the grenade so it makes a trail of fearing enemies when throwing far.
- Lasts for around 6~8 seconds.
- Gives off a faint light to signify its trajectory and location during its effect duration. (Optional)
Uses:
Imagine you are scout, and you have just ran off to some completely different multiverse of caves as scouts do. Then you are suddenly being trampled by a sea of Glyphids.
You can just throw the grenade in the direction you want to go, and watch the Glyphids split into two parts like Moses parting the red sea. Then you run between all the angry bugs trying to tear your face off, and through the tunnel back to your teammates.
TL;DR:
Throw grenade at big swarm of bugs. Bugs run away, you can now run away without bugs eating your knees
I mean it can also be used for the rest of your team for defending points. it does not stick to the terrain, but it bounces; letting it keep semi close to the ground to maximise the fearing of bugs.
Shout Command Menu
Buff the “lose all your movement” overclocks by reducing the penalty to -%90 movement speed instead. It still gives the overclocks such significantly reduced mobility that you’ll still have to struggle to use them right, but makes them a bit more fair to the player.
In particular, Lead Storm and Supercooling Chamber need this the most. Being able to strafe, even just a little, is very important for these long range weapons that have to spend a significant amount of time pressing the fire button to score kills.
Edit: I know you can jump with these weapons to give yourself more speed, but I’m talking about smaller adjustments, allowing players to more easily peek over or around lumps or ridges in the walls and floor, and sometimes you only need to move a couple steps to do so. Additionally with the overclocks in question, you need to stop killing bugs or drop your charge respectively, neither of which is what those weapons want to do. Additionally, Lead Storm and Supercooling Chamber are among the weakest overclocks in the game, and the complete loss of all movement is part of that. These two OCs deserve a little more strength.

As a scout main I proudly announce, the Drak and Nishanka are the worst weapons, in the game, not just for scout. So, I propose to buff them.
For the Drak, I would increase the projectile velocity by 33% - 50% because the gameplay without a speed upgrade is basically wait for your team to deal with macteras (unlike deepcore) and also add a simple +1 enemy penetration. These 2 simple buffs will solve all problems for this weapon. Its damage potential is big, but the problem is spread and overheat. I found it difficult to use against hordes or hitting a single protorean because of armor or other enemies. And with the shock DOT having as much of an impact and shooting the enemy outright this gun feels terrible to use. to compare it to other primaries I'd look at the deepcore, as its the most similar to it in concept. The drak has 9 damage, 750 ammo and 12 ROF, and the deepcore has 16 damage, 390 ammo and 9 fire rate, excluding any misses or headshots, reloads and overheats, drak has 108 DPS while deepcore has 144, drak has a total of 6750 damage for all ammo and deepcore has 6240. Looks balanced so far, but, lets see what the have with upgrades, drak has 9 damage, 950 ammo and 16 ROF, deepcore has 16 damage, 520 ammo and 11 ROF. Total drak damage is 8550 and 144 DPS, deepcore has 8320 total damage and 176 DPS. ALthough the numbers do check out for them to be somewhat balanced in a real fight you will miss and sometimes hit weakpoints, drak, first of all, has high spread and low velocity, making it difficult to hit any shot, while deepcore has barely any spread and its a hitscan.
The point is, the numbers do check out but because of several mechanics the drak is severely underpowered.
Nishanka is already a very balanced weapon but the problem is, it does not serve any purpose a scout needs a secondary to do, basically, you waste a secondary slot for up to 27 focused shots, when you can have up to 19 shots from a shotty that deal over 300 damage in an AOE, its useless
The Lead Storm minigun is extremely fun. So I've decided to add some heat to it and it gave my an idea for an overclock.
Brimstone catalyzer
Burning bullets
Temperature freeze upon igniting an enemy
Bonus damage to burning enemies
Self-ignition on overheat
+100% Overheat time
-2 Damage
To give more approximate numbers, burning bullets is 25% of the Hot Bullets tier 5 upgrade, the temperature given is lower than the upgrade one but still allows for ignition, but, it is active sooner than the upgrade one. Temperature freeze is a bonus which stops the heating or cooling of the gun when an enemy is ignite, depending on the enemy, for example, a grunt will give 0.1 second of heat freeze, while a protorean will give 0.5 and so on. And the bonus damage can vary between 10% to 25% because I have not decided on a good value.

New mission type: Declaration, you will go into a previously cleared cave and have to escort a dwarven accountant to take note of all previously used equipment and mined minerals. Since all the nitra has already been mined, you have a limited amount of resupplies. If he dies you lose the mission.

i noticed the lead storm minigun is the only gunner primary (or any weapon really) to have an overclock named after it. so this will be my attempt to create overclocks for the other two gunner primaries that follow the naming concvention, inspired by the names themselves.

OC idea for the Warthog
Slug shells. Just actual slugs. I like slug shotguns. Magnetic pellet alignment wasn't as magnetic as I hoped. Instead of pellets you'd get one, decently sized projectile, fat fucking damage, extra armor breaking, great stun chance, pierce maybe? Extra weakpoint damage also maybe (would tread over MPA's benefits tho). In return you get less ammo, maybe more recoil, less rof. Could just be another primary if we ever get a 4th, dunno for who tho.
This probably has been suggested already but I'd really like a firing range in the Orbital Station.
Some way to test out your weapon mods and things without having to start a whole mission and go through the loading and everything just to find out you dont like the loadout at all.

Change the spring ripper's damage type from Explosive to Melee so that vampire applies to the kills it gets, similar to the axes. As it stands now, the rippers don't really have much of a use; the axes are the optimal choice for raw damage, and neurotoxin is extremely useful for horde control. I think a burst healing tool (in sacrifice of consistency and single target stopping power) would be a pretty rad addition.
An overclock or a mod for the Warthog, similar to MPA, but instead of reducing spread, it replaces the gun’s normal random spread with a fixed pellet pattern, like Tf2’s Panic Attack shotgun.
Potential downsides (if you go the OC route) could be lower maximum ammo, or maybe more recoil, just about anything would be fair
I've had this idea in the back of my mind for quite some time and I hope this isnt something that will make people mad or anything.
What if depending on the distance Molly would actually be able to go faster to you? What do I mean by that is after a certain distance, lets say 30m for example Molly would arrive at the destination faster like a 5% increase and the movement speed stacks up to a maximum of 20-25% for every 10 meters Molly has to go after you recalled her.
So in theory, the maximum speed she is able to go is 25% faster when the distance is 80m or more.

Overclock for EPC that makes the charged shot not explode, but bounce off walls and pierce through enemies, akin to that one weapon from Half Life 2. It would last around 10 seconds, and then disappear.

The drak sheild overclock idea. I have no idea how hard this would be to code, but the overclocks damage and velocity modifier scales based on how much current shield you have instead of a flat boost at full sheild. Just thought the idea was neat

Custom tattoos would be an awesome addition to the game. They're not only easy to design (it's just an PNG) they can make such good cosmetic content for the battle pass. Splatoon lockers have a similar concept of what I'm trying to explain.

Add more of the encounters that can randomly spawn in normal missions to deep dives as possible secondary objectives (as alternatives to the existing ones). Examples:
"Collect 3 tyrant shards" - means that the Korlok Tyrant Weed will generate and must be defeated to collect the shards.
"Collect 1 data cell" - means that one of the data cell encounters will generate (data deposit, comm router, or prospector drone) and must be completed. Rival comms router would need to work differently in this mode to not have a fail condition (e.g., when time runs out, instead of exploding make bots start spawning until completed).
"Collect 3 plaguehearts" - means that either a meteor impact or a corruptor will generate and you'll need to destroy it to collect the plaguehearts
"Cleanse 1 contagion spike" - exactly what it says on the tin. Unlike for normal missions it wouldn't be an explicit warning since it's not an additional objective.

What if the individual miners had more of their own personality, for example the reason why tf2 is such a loved game is because the characters are basically people with completely different personalities but the miners they’re all basically the same, they like beer and like killing bugs (besides loot bugs of course) the most personality they get is from what people make of them like driller being a insane guy who likes blowing up scouts, but in the game this is in no way apparent. I’m not saying they don’t have personality they just don’t have individual personality and by adding new voice lines and maybe videos on YouTube where they interact together it would be great and make the miners even more loveable

I think it would be cool to have a random event in the space rig, mission control announces that another space rig is about to pass orbit nearby. We rock and stone over the radio to them for about a minute before they lose signal again. Looking out of the window you can see it pass. It would be cool if the dwarves on the other rig had different voice pitches when they rock and stone back Hinting at other teams. Mission control could give a wholesome good luck as well.

Electrifying reload on GK2: Get rid of the reload requirement entirely and just have each hit apply the electricity as it is, it wouldn't change anything as you can already do that but it would make the overclock significantly less cumbersome to use

increase the amount of loadout slots, if not double them.
now i know 6 loadout slots seems like plenty, but with the sheer amount of variety this game has, its feels a little restrictive. think about it.
each dwarf has 3 primary weapons and 3 secondary. that already give us the 6 possible combos you can make with a primary and a secondary.
but it doesnt take into account anything else! overclocks, mission mutators, biomes, perks, even simple fashion. all of these things can dramatically change what you need in a loadout for a simple mission. especially overclocks, as they can change how a weapon works so drastically it might as well be a different weapon with some minor similarities to stock.
so essentially a host swap, where if the host has to abandon the mission the matchmaking system would select another player currently in the group to be the host.
while it sounds wonderfully convenient, i doubt it could be done seamlessly enough to warrant not just restarting the mission anyway.

new mission idea: tyrant weed infestation.
admittedly i have no idea wether to make this a whole new mission or simply a mutator. i think making it a mutator would make it a hassle to have to kill weeds in the middle of other mission types, but another problem for making it a fully fledged mission would be that people might be forced to play it for assignments, deep dives, etc.
knowing the reputation of tyrant weeds, i know that people probably wouldnt like either, so just know that i am making this because i was inspired after making an anti weed build for engineer by complete accident.
"listen good miners, this ones a doozy. a particularly aggressive strain of korlok tyrant weed is making operations in the area a nightmare, so we need you to get in there, burn everything to the ground, and bring back as many tyrant shards as you can for R&D to study. good luck."
guaranteed tyrant weed spawns, with a red color to make them distinct from normal ones. perhaps a larger heart clam to make it easier to hit, some new weed variants, maybe even special tech MC sends down like firebombs to help cleanse the area. this idea is kinda half baked but i had to write it somewhere.
Radioactive bulk: very little health, incredibly dangerous explosion
Rockpox bulk: A bulk with a meteor chunk lodged in its back. Extremely rare mini boss which is like a mix between the corruptor and a bulk
Honourable mention: flame praetorians. Leaves a pool of flame when it dies and shoots a column of fire instead of acid spit that leaves a damaging trail. If dreadnaughts can shoot fireballs, why can’t praetorians?
Other random suggestions:
Crimson lootbug which drops ~60 nitra
Gold rain modifier
Time dilation modifier which sometimes rewinds time temporarily
Standard grenade that is universal between dwarves
More pickaxe upgrades and flare upgrades

a feature to get a higher chance of getting a character specific overclock on deep dives. like, if youre playing gunner, higher chance for gunner overclocks. or maybe you can do some kind of trade for credits, where it increases your chance for a certain overclock, the rng can be really really frustrating
We need an ecosystem update. Deep rock galactic is an extremely atmospheric game and I love that, but most creatures don't interact with each other so here's what I propose:
Firstly make certain existing creatures interact with each other (Fight, play etc)
Secondly, add weak passive enemies to every biome that enemies may try to hunt
Thirdly, give us an encyclopaedia about all the biomes with in depth descriptions of the plants and biome features.
I feel this would make the game way more atmospheric and also like hoxxes has a proper ecosystem.

I think we should be able to upgrade molly to make her faster
Overwatch 2’s PVE has a neat mechanic where you can blow the limbs off of enemies to weaken them but have them still kicking. I think it would be cool if that kind of thing was in DRG where shooting the legs of a Glyphid enough will slow it down or shooting the wings off a Mactera will mess up its flight pattern. These would do the base damage so hitting weakpoints would still be better but this could be another way to feel the impact of your attacks no matter where you hit the bugs outside of just seeing their healthbar go down.
Ok I know this idea sounds a little stupid and definitely wouldn't work in the base game, but I want a way to play as the first dwarves to conquer hoxxes. Once again this definitely couldn't work in the base game and is quite far fetched.
Firstly, weapons like the plasma carbine and the shard defractor wouldn't exist
Secondly I want a bet-c and thirdly, maybe some glyphid breeds that are now extinct.
Once again this idea is quite wild and would probably work best as a mod.
'lootbug stomp' emote, wherein the dwarf stamps down on a lootbug and causes it to immediately explode into minerals
This is probably just a skill issue but the bomb drones on the omen annoy me alot not because of the damage they do but how quiet they are, sometimes I go down to them before I even know they are a segment on the omen
So my suggestion here is to give them spawn sounds and give them a louder hum if they already have one or give them a loud hum and or beep if they don't, it kinda just feels unfair sometimes and makes me just want to ignore the omen when I see it

New warning that force spawns a random miniboss.
I got an inspiration for the Ommeron. During the 2nd stage of 4, it could have an alternative attack called the Ommeron Wind. Instead of a stream of flying rocks, it could summon a destructible ectoplasmic cloud of loose dirt that flies around the Ommeron. It's about as tough as a Glyphid Oppressor, maybe tougher, frequently attacking the Drilldozer by flying into it, ignoring the dwarves, but can hurt the dwarves should they happen to be in its path. Its size would be equivalent to like about 2 boulders, give or take.

i know, half the fun of getting outside the rig is the wacky ways people manage to do it. but the devs seem somewhat determined to remove ways to get outside the rig via glitchy/unintentional means.
we see this in places like the last update, where multiple spots used i the past to escape the interior of the rig had their geometry changed in such a way that you cant really use them anymore.
since the players arent going to stop trying and the devs arent going to stop trying to stop them, why not make a compromise?
you could even add a sort of minigame aspect to it with the recent addition of the rockpox on the glass where dwarves can go outside and clean up the rig a little, with it acculumlating over time as its left to grow between sessions.
i know people have also wanted an expansion to the memorial hall for a while now, so why not have a trophies section?
after you kill a certain amount of a hostile enemy type, you get its head mounted on one wall in the memorial hall.
External hammer framework for the Jury Rigged Boomstick with animated hammers. It would basically look like sawn off coach gun from the Wild West.
Make it so that on a deep dive, the drop pod cannot descend if not all the dwarves are inside. We should eradicate the terribly unreliable teleportation technology and instead leave no dwarf behind. This would also make deep dives little more challenging but I'm sure most people would agree that this wouldn't be a massive change

DRG is already pretty good with non-spoken communication but could we get a way to communicate with players who speak a different language? I find it happening a lot that I can't communicate with another player and something as simple as communication emotes for chat like:

Would honestly be really stellar. I doubt the game would ever need anthing crazy like new lines with bound communication keys so this would do wonders.

A system for crafting paintjobs and such, and pickaxe parts. also the ability to add paintjobs to class tools like the drills, the bright unchangable yellow can really clash with certain paintjobs on armour.
Yknow how if you have a really long beard it removes part of your armour to make space? what if we had a toggle for that in general? it'd solve TONS of clipping problems with certain helmets. not sure how easy/hard that would be to add, but that would be a great quality of life improvement.

A quartet of robots who mimic the four playable classes.
Recon Unit: A highly-mobile menace which impedes your movement and tries to flank you.
Artillery Unit: A slow-moving juggernaut with a heavy arsenal and forcefield.
Mechanist Unit: A well-rounded opponent that deploys drones to harass DRG employees.
Excavator Unit: A close-range combatant that tries to chase down dwarves.
They spawn in via a bootleg Drop Pod.
A shooting range in the lobby for when you unlock a new gun and want to test it but don't want or can do a mission.
Inspired by the Booyah Bomb from Splatoon 2+3, how about a mechanic that incorporates the Salute?
It should be something that doesn't discourage players from Saluting or force them to Salute to play optimally, so something like a Perk wouldn't work.
Perhaps a Machine Event where Saluting fills up a meter?

Forging overclocks.
Hovering over a overclock for a weapon brings up currently equipped overclock for said weapon. Being able to see if a overclock is equiped for a weapon or what is avalible directly in the forge screen would save alot of running.

Umanite Roulette Clean overclock for the bulldog
Pressing Reload with a full magazine will have the gunner open the drum, take one bullet out and consume 1 reserve ammo extra to insert a Depleted Umanite Round in the drum, then spin the drum and close the magazine. you dont know when it will fire but when it does, it will do double damage (+100% after all other damage calculations) and have a different muzzle flash.
1 bullet in the mag will do double damage
costs 1 extra ammo to activate
Pressing reload again after theres already a depleted shot loaded, just makes gunner spin the drum and chuckle to themself.
I have an idea for another machine event in the game.
So the idea would be that you activate a deadly robot that can't be killed from the outside. However there is a self destruct sequence that can be started and instead of losing when the timer runs out, you just need to stay alive. I just thought about it and I would love feedback from my fellow miners

A new game mode called invasion. You and other dwarves must defend a point from lots of enemies. 3 waves of harder waves of enemy's coming for you. Once you complete the waves you must call a drop pod to get out of there. Also a new medic class that can heal an boost other players. He has the Mk12 healer to heal teammates. his secondary is the 3RT which is a 8 round mag. He doesn't have much mobility and has a healing bubble as grenade. he would work best with high hazard. He can revive teammates from a distance but can't hold as much gold. ROCK AND STONE
Add an in-universe reason for why Hoxxes IV’s surface is destroyed/broken? Completely unnecessary but lore building would be nice

A new enemy type that’s similar to the Hoarder, but it’s beer related. It would attack the player and deal drunkness buildup as damage and would eventually cause the player to pass out. On defeat, it would drop beer crafting materials. I feel that it’d make the chore of finding them less burdensome. Came up while playing DRG with some friends and thought that it would be a fun enough edition
Make Corruptor spawns a bit more frequent. I haven't seen one since the beginning of season 4.
I feel like that oppressors and pretorians having a pierce resistance is weird. The boltshark, which is one of the few sources of piece damage was originally for "large game" and those glyphids are pretty large. Plus the boltshark needs a little help

Q'ronar elder
Found only in the salt pits, this q'ronar is nearing the end of its life. Unlike its younger brethren, it only ever curls up to protect itself, but its ranged attacks are often hard to dodge. These elders would protect the younglings, and often die trying
Dwarves can drink, so why can't the bots join in on the fun? Near the deep dive terminal, there should be an "oil" shop, run by a MULE (kind of like lloyd being a bosco drone). These oils can be purchased before a run to give either Bosco, Molly, or both a perk, kind of like beer for dwarves. The oil you can purchase rotates, and can be bought by finding "Oil Crystals" in the mines, like the brewing ingredients. Some ideas:

Could the DRAK get some OC rebalances? every single unstable either has a ammo downside or a extra heat per shot, Rewiring mod is a neat concept but its tedious and cumbersome to use, what if it just refunded ammo as you shot it? so in total it would still have the same ammo but you wouldent be forced to shoot the whole burst no matter what, and you neither would be forced to hit the time window with manual heat dump.
Overtuned particle accelerator gives a really nice damage bonus but it makes it extremely inaccurete, and of course it gives more heat per shot, the less ammo downside is understandable because thats not really who scout is, but the inaccuracy is aaaaaaa
Shield battery booster: this one feels great after S4, the decreased shield regen delay is a gamechanger for it, but its still not crazy or anything for an unstable
The most unfortunete one is Aggressive venting (Clean): it allows you to just...not use the drak, since you are just using it to overheat it

allow custom tip amounts to lloyd, with the highest monthly tip displayed on a screen above the tip machine

This would make it so I don’t have to go through the effort of joining only too see that there is no room in the squad.

Mission Idea: "A NEW NEST IS FORMING"
The idea arises as a combination of "Industrial sabotage" and "Escort Duty", the same would be that the organization has found an alarming number of new eggs in a part of the planet, but these are still not mature enough to hatch, and Your mission will be to take remote explosives (through Mini Mules or rails) to different chambers full of eggs.
Once the charges are placed, these charges (which may be two, three, or four) will explode and call a "guardian" who will be a spider of grotesque dimensions that will appear at the link between the different incubation chambers.
The fight against her will be boss-style where her weak points must be broken to defeat her, while she hits with her legs, throws acid or bites at our dwarfs, all if accompanied by hordes of enemies who come to the guardian's call .

Look, we have a bot problem. They pop up at least twice a day, occasionally see a particularly spammy one, ya know how it is.
I think that our server could benefit from some sort of a bot “gate.”
We tried the role thing recently, but that’s been a mess in non drg. So, why not implement a minimum account age auto-filter? Any users looking to join/use our server must have an account that’s at least thirty minutes to an hour old.
Would reduce the burden on the mod team and improve the quality and safety of the server, while also removing the need for the channel role requirements.
Edit: and as a bonus, it’ll reduce the vpn ban evasion that some folk pull
Cave leeches have a chance to spawn rare mineral veins below them. Perhaps maybe even chunks of ore like nitra and gold. Would be absolutely hilarious for the unsuspecting dwarf. Would also add the idea that cave leeches lure lootbugs to eat.
