So twice in aquarqs missions, we had that bug. The first drop pod didn't leave. And this time, the escape pod landed EXACTLY on the first pod, fuzing them
This is the inside of the escape pod. During the extraction cinematic, the first pod pushed us out through the floor of the escape pod. We had a "victory" with victory stances, but red lights and a 0 survival bonus, with a defeat.
I guess to count the survival bonus and the real victory, the game counts who's in the escape pod when the mission is fully over?

I found an interesting bug and wonder if anyone has encountered it, I know ive seen one person before use it.
Drink size increase/decrease beer then change class, it will remain until mission starts.
Most beers have no interaction with this outside of size ones but wormhole and this leaves you in space until you respawn.
also you can cancel reloads quicker (and it still reloads) by tapping ctrl/m2 usually half way through your ammo indicator updates as soon as it does cancel, ctrl works while running too, seems like bug that should be turned into feature

I was having no issues with this game or any others for a few months. Recently as of the last 2-3 weeks half the time I try to play DRG I get a "black screen crash" it's not at game start up and not every game but it's really starting to take a toll and I have tried everything to work out what's going on to no end.
Most of the time the crashes happen when starting a mission or joining an ongoing mission. Solo or multiplayer. Just as the drop pod lands or the extra miner pod lands the screen will go black and the whole computer will lock up and be unresponsive. The only way to get it to stop is to hard reset the pc. Upon starting back up there are no error logs in the event viewer that point to the cause. Temps and parts all fine and less than a year old. Only game that this happens with is DRG.
Occasionally I will get this bug just randomly throughout a mission but majority of the time its when "landing".
I would really appreciate some assistance with this issue.
EDIT: Please feel free to ping me at anytime Devs or others that may be able to help me with this issue. I'm currently between work and desperate to play. Happy to provide all specs and test or try suggestions whenever. I'm at a loss.

experienced two bugs in two different Refinery missions, one was game breaking.
First: Adjacent Chambers did not spawn, only the refinery chamber and the spawn chamber, and only one refinery pump. Drilled every direction, no other chambers on map seed.
Second: Drop pod never left during the Refinery Mission. When we left on the pickup Drop Pod it was still there. I assume some poor bastards are going to get a salvage mission for it and see my pipe gore.

I still don't understand why the extra mini-mule leg was removed. It only added a safety net in case of bugs, and we're feeling the effects of that safety net being gone. It would be like making only 200 morkite spawn on a 200 morkite mission. It just doesn't make sense, and everyone is obviously upset about this change.
Even making the legs visible on the map doesn't fix the issue, because the legs just don't spawn sometimes. There was nothing wrong with having an extra leg in the first place. The mission type is virtually unplayable without it, because you sink 20 minutes in just trying to find the leg, only to realize that it isn't there, or it's inside the drop pod.

I'd start with double checking your system clock, resync it with microsofts servers then restart your computer. If you've got any special configuration on your modem/router like GEO-IP filtering I'd disable it temporarily for testing. I'd also turn off any VPNs you may have enabled.

I don't know if this is a bug or a "feature" but it seems like a bug, praetorians and dreadnaughts ( haven't seen oppressors do it but they might) sometimes will turn on a dime when doing attacks that make them stay still (praetorians spitting acid, dreadnaughts smashing the ground/roaring ect.) I think this happens when they start the attack while turning, and it means you can't run around them to shoot there week spot.

Hey, I just got DRG, but my multiplayer has been unplayable whenever I join lobbies I get a "Connection Lost" screen and cannot connect. when I host people are forcefully loaded out or cannot join. Having a bug where sometimes voice chat is enabled when i launch the game even if i always use push to talk, disabling and the re-enabling voice chat seems to fix it

On-site refining spawned a REALLY cramped map and only 2 liquid morkite wells, thus we could not complete it. Map dimension were around 40x15x35 meters and the loading screen took less than ONE second 😛

Speakin of Discord, i've not been able to join any Discord without malfunction if I do it while my App version of Discord isn't open simultaneously for awhile now... recently talked to a pal about it & he has no problems... he's still using Firefox, whereas Firefox screwed up on me & made me switch to Google Chrome & i'm still using it, so anyone having similar trouble, try doin what I do & have App Version of Discord open at same time or use different Browser from Google Chrome.

I also found another bug somehow I don't see what other people see It just looked like im having a hard time mining sand. One of my teammate was getting oil straight out of sands I hit it and it actually drops oil shade Sadly i didn't record it

I've looked for similar reports and surprisingly haven't found one as it's exteremely easy to reproduce. Enemy healthbars disappear when you are on a pipe in refinery missions. You don't even have to be riding the pipe, just standing on top of it.

@timid dock I can promise you that's not the issue. I've never changed my status to anything other than "online" in Discord. It just isn't connecting full stop. The Union screen in-game is also saying noone is online (0 online, ~250k offline)

So I recently had a weird ping problem with my friend,
Mt friend bought a new router and he installed it.
But when we played the game, the ping went up to 300(Usually around 20 before, friend is hosting)
The thing is, it only seem to affect me.(Other players said their ping was fine)
Other games with my friend hosting had no problem with the ping, and the connection test on both side reported no problems.
It doesn't seem to be a problem on my end either as if I join other player hosted games, the ping is fine, I just have a issue of high ping specifically with my friend's router.
Any way to fix this?

It killed the person who activated it
And I was on the drilldozer, it TP'd me next to the spot where we pressed the button

I dunno if this is already under fix but... yesterday i was deep diving, the new mission with the drilldozer, all good until the refill part i took one of the canister and accidentaly put it back into the dozer, the canister counted max fuel and that occurred with both canisters, couldnt take any screenshots or videos

Actually I think that's the server error in the assignment terminal that just happens sometimes. I've seen it resolved by verifying date and time are set to auto in windows settings as well as restarting steam completely.

Anyone having issues with salvage missions? The new update said the legs would should up on the map but I just did a missions where the last leg was no where in sight. could it be a bug that there is so little red sugar in refinery missions? i know that with shield distruption the mission has more sugar but i had various runs where there were 2 to 3 sugar formations on haz 4 and 5. that is super hard to manage health. Bug? balancing? or intention? Normal missions sometimes have only 1 or 2 sugar deposites.

Your integrated graphics is the intel HD 4000 which does not support dx12. Best thing you can do is slap -dx11 into launch options and keep it there.

Also the cave generation feels broken. Once we had under 200 nitra in length 3 mission. The other time we dropped in a cave with 7 spitbollas and 2 nexi.

@azure vigil Yep, we stopped for the first refuel phase and we only had one canister. Filled it up and then realized we didn't have a second. Searched around for a bit to find it but nothing .. so we had to quit the mission

Interesting. Patch notes say "It's no longer possible to put turrets on Doretta" - but that was the first thing we tried when the mission first came out, and technically you just placed them in the air; Dotty left 'em behind as soon as it moved.
It may be considered too op or something, but wouldn't it be fun to put the turrets on the dozer and let it carry them?

@crimson coyote IMU still not working after PC restart ect. . I am reluctant to leave and rejoin the discord server to fix the problem and i know that others hold it likewise. Problems with the IMU in the past got solved by GSG without me rejoining or taking any bigger action, so it doesn't make sense to me, to take this step as a long term solution. It is sad, that the great feature of the IMU currently doesn't work, especially close to the monthly finish with rewards to be reaped. But i rather play without the IMU if the problem doesn't get solved from the developing side. There are a lot of issues after U32 so i can understand, that the IMU is not a big priority, but please, for the love of god, fix the current version before adding more and more new things to the game (looking at the roadmap update)

im not a dev, for regular connectivity issues id suggest switching to a different internet method, ie wifi to ethernet, or even using your phone's hotspot

Regarding HDR, is there a way not to have colors washed out? They kinda look not saturated at all, on the bright side. I'm using LG CX set to 1920x1080, 120Hz, driven by GTX 10890. Windows 20H2, HDR on, and all 3 HDR features on too. I tried 8 and 12 but color, RGB, 444, 420, pretty much every combination I believed to make sense. It looks much better with HDR check box unchecked

in on-site refinery, when the liquid morkite is being refined, the numbers on the start of the pipes flicker. this only happens when it is refining.
also, extraction music plays once the primary objective is completed even if you don't call in the drop pod on refinery

New Escort mission type. The drilldozer despawned. Then restarted at the starting point. Quit consuming fuel, then turned around and drilled back past where it started, turned 180° again, and started drilling up into the air, flying

my grenade count showed 0 at the start of stage 1, but correctly read 3 after I lobbed one
in stage 3, the drop pod stayed the whole time...and we had to make sure to get into the exit drop pod, not the one that took us in.
also I bounced 2 cryo grenades off a Naedocyte Breeder and it didn't take any freeze effect, so maybe it's a bug, maybe they're just cryo-immune now to stop Scout from instakilling them.

i changed my sound device from my external USB DAC to an internal PCI sound card... now sound works AND the game didn't crash after intro video

@lapis dust It was not sitting in the back any longer, it had vanished and we were unable to take it out/refuell it. Noi one has taken it out of the drill dozer yet since we put it back in after the 1st refuel. When holding our laser pointers out the canisters marker showed it back at spawn, however it was invisible/unable to be picked up back there as well. I don't know if it's happening to anyone else, but about 1 out of every 3 or so times that I try to load in to the space station, the game crashes and I can't exit the DRG fullscreen window to get to the crash report or to open task manager. I can't leave the game window at all and I can't close the program so I have to restart my system each time to get out of it. Is anyone else experiencing this? Since I can't get to the crash report window I can't actually submit it...

Mama, that sounds very similar to an issue that apparently only I had. I ended up having to replace my power supply, which I highly doubt is the same case, but I recommend updating all of your available drivers and making a backup of your game saves and then deleting the game, then reinstall.

on the new escort missions, ive had the MULE bug out multiple times, i have to walk halfway accross the map to deposit the heartstone. I have played a few missions, and on about 80% of them, the MULE stops working

I don't have the hardware to test for myself, but it seems using a gpu that doesn't support dx12 causes issues even if you don't run the game using dx12.
Right now your best bet to try and minimize those issues is to play around with using -dx11 OR -dx10 in launch options.

Just started playing with the new hotfix and my flares aren't showing up in the HUD. I can still toss them, but can't tell how many i have left or their charge status.

Been having this issue for a while now, and I think I've finally nailed down the cause:
For some reason, I cannot join (or rejoin, after disconnecting) certain Escort missions while they're in progress. I am kicked from the lobby with an error stating "You cannot join while the mission is starting." This seems to occur if I attempt to join after Doretta has reached the Heartstone.

Fighting the swarm on the refining platform is aggravating. The bugs seems to slip and slide around the geometry a lot. They can hit you when most of their body is behind an object. Your bullets will often hit invisible hitboxes of objects.
It's counter-intuitive and makes me just wanna yeet myself off the platform asap.

been having an issue on the windows version, after about 20 mins the game just closes. i have no idea why. i've tried repairing, resetting, uninstalling and reinstalling the game but it just keeps closing.

Hi All! I have a problem with synchronization of missions on map. Usually we had the same map with my teammates, with the same missions, but now i have different from my friends. Why? How to bring this back? 🙂
