Can not connect while mission is starting . this bug makes no sense.
Also with update 32 the crashes of unreal engine while swarm spawn are back.
Please fix. Game is not playable at the moment. before the update I had to clock my GPU -200 MHz till stable. Now I have to underclock -400 MHz till stable again. Such problem occures only in this game.

Only two wells in this mission, we searched through the whole map for the third one to no avail. The map was pretty simple and small so the chances of us missing one were pretty low, if any.
You can see driller made random tunnels in the external walls in hopes of finding another room, but nothing either.

i think it counted as docked last minute, since our driller decided to C4 it to see if it would do anything, though it still stood still

Apologies if this was already mentioned earlier, but just started an Escort mission. - After reaching the second large cave, Doretta was out of fuel, and we thought she would come to a stop, but instead Doretta decided to turn us around and headed back to her Heavy Cargo Drop, despite being out of fuel, and is currently stuck in mid air, directly above the original drop pod.

Not really a bug in that sort, but I see lots of complaints of bugged-out mule legs that fell out from the map, and since there are no spare legs anymore since a while, this means salvage missions are impossible to complete because of that

Escort duty, rotten bluff - shale canister was stuck at spawn and was not grabbable. This made it impossible to remove the second canister and refuel it. Tried dropping a supply pod on top of the canister and it would not move.
Worth noting that I joined the mission after the first three players had been at it for some time, and they could not see the canister at all

On my first escort mission with a friend, they were hosting and it wouldn't load for me, I quit the game they got in and I couldn't join. But it worked, albeit dropping to like 10fps in the loading screen, when I hosted and they could join me, took them a while to load in though.
Also dotty kept on getting damaged on the left side even though there were no bugs around, I don't know if there was one clipping inside or something.

I sort of suspect it's already been reported but just in case, in On-Site Refining hub becomes invisible for me after you hit the button and the rocket leaves even though it still physically exists, which makes fighting around it complicated. You can walk on it, it blocks shots, everything, except you can see right through it and don't know exactly where the geometry of it is because it's invisible.

What's your game version? Hit ESC and look at the bottom left. If you're version 1.32.45559.0 you're up to date
@topaz socket You're well below the minimum system requirements to run this game. Your cpu has intel HD 4000 as its iGPU which only supports up to dx11. The only thing you can try is to place -dx11 into launch options. Otherwise you're essentially out of luck.

hey i have a question about the drill-by shooting achievement. I was playing with my friends and we were doing a drilldozer mission (and trying to get the achivement), but only one of us got the achievement. From my understanding, the award is given when each playing kills 15 enemies while all of the others are on the drilldozer, so wouldn't that make it impossible for just one person to get it?

Hi everyone, i just installed DRG and after i launch the game, i see the window for patch notes etc and after i click continue the game loads for awhile , i start to hear voices in the background and then it instantly crashes for me
i managed to get a logfile before i reinstalled the game which stated that it tried todo a url call, i assume to get my profile but when i paste that url into my webbrowser it says detail : not found and i assume once more that i craches because of it

Do not ping the developers. It's 9pm on a Sunday for them. If you leave a bug report here, as you did, they can try to figure out the problem during office hours. As long as you sent in the crash report they'll have some information to work with and if they need more details they'll likely ask you. They read this channel regularly.

Thats why i started of by apologizing, iknow its not the best thing to tag the devs for quick attention on a weekend, but also ido feel this isnt an error that can be fixed by changing some code. me and my brother wanted to play DRG witch I recommended to him as a good game and then i cant even launch it myself. does not make a good first impression of coming back to the game.

if you shoot certain weapons at the black spot above the salvage operation drop pod, the bullets go horizontally at about 125* on the compass

Not sure if this is a known bug or not, but while doing the machine event last night with a friend where you toss the explosive canisters at the crystal, we were tossing them to each other to speed things along and my miner got stuck in a holding state, likely from a server/client discrepancy where the explosive detonated and vanished, but my miner had grabbed it. I managed to break out of the animation where my gun was bobbing up and down in front of me a la Quake by charging up an empty-handed throw, but then my E / pick up / activate key was bugged and I was unable to pick anything up. I quit out and rejoined and found a placeholder item on the ground, probably a testing item. I was able to interact with that funnily enough.

happend to me, i was in a friends lobby (me being not the host) friend started the mission, i switched my Weapon from the scout M1000 Rifle to the Assault rifle by pressing the arrow key in the equipmentwindow. the mission started whilst i was still in the equipment booth. spawned without primary weapon.

In Escort, this keeps happening to me today. I'm instantly filling up on fuel the moment I start drilling. Like within 2 seconds of fuel drilling I'm full. Confirmed that I have no fuel inside the cannister before I start drilling, I watch teh gauge fly up.

Just did an onsite-refinement mission with a friend on hazard 4 and the enemy damage was super juiced up for no clear reason. I know it doesn't sound like much of a bug but swarmers quite literally did a 1/6th of one's health and we got destroyed by a small handful of them.
Something that should at least be looked into, it was pretty unfun.

I've noticed that scouts cryo minelets when shot into the fat boys radiation they float mid air on the edge of the radiation, but everything else works just fine. I also tried to see if other radiation did the same thing, both the radioactive praetorian and exploder radiation had this happen, but the praetorian's radiator attack did not affect the cryo minelets

Is hyper propellant overclock working correctly? I read about improved graphics, but there's actually less now, instead of the grenade explosion at impact, it's just a single halo disc of blue sparks. No smoke or bang or trail, almost feels like I'm catching them when the bugs disintegrate.

I also checked without prox trigger, the trail fades in and does not appear right after you shoot, if you were shooting something close you might not see it

Also figured it out. Assuming its a bug. But if you pickup pieces of fuel (From mining, or detonation), instead of manually drilling it, it fills up instantly. Like 2 pieces will fill up the cannister. I'd ASSUME thats not working as intended.

Since update 32 I can't figure out how to "push to talk" with a controller. I used to press Z but now it says push [None] even though Z is mapped. Nothing in the patch notes. Is this a bug or are controller users not given a voice for a reason?

Just got a new one I hadn't seen in experimental:
Escort mission on Deep Biozone, complexity 3. Mission goes as normal (mostly normal, there were some mysteriously dying elevator plants in the third room) until Dotty gets to her second refill point - She turns around on 0 fuel, digs a straight line back to spawn, then sits hovering above where the drop pod dropped me to start the mission.

2 - Forgot to pick the hearthstone, go back to do Event
3 - Return to Doretta to get the stone back but saw that.

I got disconnected from an online match with friends twice in a row, without a "reconnect" option, and then couldn't join the second time because the drilldozer got to its objective and I could no longer join because it was "in progress".
The mission was entirely done for me (it was my objective)
Was the reconnect feature removed? I remember there being one in the past.

It has not been removed. But it is very unreliable. I agree we should revisit it soon and see if we can improve it.

the second we connected the final pipe it turned invisible, we could still see the console we so could complete the mission but it was very bugging and we often got launched into the air when going near the refinery. @fallen hill

is this mini-mule only spawning 3 legs thing is wreaking havoc on missions for anyone else? I thought it was a good idea when i saw it in the patch notes but I've had 2 games today alone where the mules spawned in weird spots and we couldnt find enough legs to repair... spent about 15 minutes looking around before abandoning each one

While the zhukovs' Embedded Detonators overclock works against flying rocks (very well in fact), the HUD element indicating a lethal detonation doesn't appear. It works for practically all other enemies except for the rocks.

Just did a solo escort and Doretta stopped drilling pretty far away from the Ommoran. I could start it and after the first 2 stages, it teleported to the Ommoran.

So i can see i'm not the first person to report these, but i decided to try and make a "megathread" for the Drilldozer mission issues i've seen, some of which break the mission entirely
Biggest issue is #2, Dozer randomly returning to start and then just chilling at the spawn area and never leaving; i'm not aware of a fix for this, is there?

I can't run the game at more than 22fps with this new pumpkin update, usually I've 110+fps on a gaming PC.
Lowering the resolution to zero only adds a few fps (10+). My GPU is at 100% constantly. Everything starts after 10 seconds being in game (both mission and Space rig)
EDIT: I'm a complete dumb, my PC was in power saving mode.

actually, I just figured out (at least part of) the proton sound issue. I don't know if it's happening for all linux people (also no idea about occurrence across distros), but so far, from what I can tell:
drg runs on proton 5.0 as the default option, and sound doesn't work.
however, if forced to run with proton 5.13, sound does work(!)

Hoping it'll smooth out in a future patch like it has in the past after similar experiences, but I don't think it's ever been this jarring.

So, reporting a bug I just found. Molly kept circling just outside of this event after taking a heartstone. She wouldn't come to me when calling her, just walked slowly in circles here. Not sure why her pathing is cut off due to this matrix core event, but it is happening during the Drilldozer mission.
I had to carry the stone a ways back to her to even trigger the end.

Okay, so the drill dozer got to the final cave right? Then stopped and started drilling the air acting like it was the hearthstone. Then about a minute later I saw it zoom to where the actual stone was and I had to rush there to repair it. @ Psychotic CPU I remember that some people who have had this issue were able to restart their system a good bit until their save came back. I remember researching a while back in regards to how to restore previous Xbox saves and the only way was from wiping the data over and over until it uses a previous backup (since Xbox Live is against save access), but, I would do that as the last resort.
If need be, I can try to recreate your save file to a limited extent, just send me a brief list of what you remember having.

@mossy breach there are a few ways to restore saves on the Steam version, there is an in-game restore save option in the options menu, you can check backup history for saves through Steam or your local backups from Steam that are saved in a special folder on your computer, or you can manually check your DRG save folder for any sort of backup.

I've done 3 salvages. Completed 1 with all 6 legs, missing 2 of 9 legs in another, and missing 1 of 6 legs in a third one. Big mistake changing that before making sure leg spawn logic was flawless.

i done the promotion to the gunner and done a deep dive but i got nothing
there was another problem prior, when i joined back to my team assignment for promotion was still there with last mission being incomplete even tho it was passed prior
so i aborted it to choose another assigment
and game doesnt detect me being in the discord server anymore for some reason
it keeps acting like i didnt yet join it

@full sonnet you'd have to be looking for the save files. Either you have a backup, or check steam cloud sync save.
@gilded spoke Unfortunately, I bought it through the Microsoft store and not Steam... Never again. I checked for old local saves in %appdata%, but there is nothing there. The saves should be under my Microsoft account, but there is no way that i know of to select versioning.

Damn, I keep crashing at dozer missions; Right at the end. Did a full reinstall, was fine on two dozer missions, then it started again at the third. The error message says " Exception_Access_Violation reading address 0xffae9ca8 " then spams " FSD_Win64_Shipping " Can't reconnect while the heartstone is being mined, because the game thinks a mission is starting.

Doing a kursite infection in the glacial biome. Not a single kursite infected enemy spawned. Only glacial themed praetorians and some smaller ones, mostly those praetorians. Just to add to it, i was alone so there couldnt be any chance an enemy could spawn outside of my view.
Edit: It was a mission for 6 eggs, not either of the new ones.

Bot is broke. Could be discord changing things, could be the bot just throwing a fit. End result is the same and the devs will probably fix it when they have the opportunity.

@digital yew Just had this happen to me. Was radioactive zone with a haunted cave warning and critical weakness anomaly. Did a kursite event and only normal radioactive glyphid praetorians spawned, no kursite infected ones.

Strange thing I noticed on the EDD, the mini mules (secondary objective on a drill escort primary) appear to spawn in small chunks of the rock surrounding the Ommoran. This is in the spawn room, nowhere near the actual Ommoran

I know that it has already been posted, but I would like to say that I have also encountered the issue with the kursite event in the glacial strata where kursite enemies do not spawn
I got it multiple times by playing solo and getting the event. No mission modifiers, only thing I didn't check was if mission difficulty could affect it

@lapis hound My theory is that the last objective was completed early this morning (EST), causing the bot to dish out rewards and shut down until Nov. 1st. I’m not a software engineer, so don’t take this as what actually happened; it’s just a theory as to what actually happened.

Ran into a big issue last night:
Playing a double XP Point Extraction mission and during an event with bugs infected with Kersite, none of the Praetorians were infected. So we spent all our time fighting off uninfected Praetorians and a constant flow of swarms that triggered during the event and didn't stop until we made it to the drop pod.

So the no extra legs on the salvage missions backfired on me tonight. 2 of the 3 were fine but on the 3rd mini mule I attached all three legs and the mule still needed one. I looked all over the map to see if one got randomly teleported somewhere and it had disappeared.

Also, the drop pod landed INTO the Drilldozer landing unit and it was impossible to get on board, hence we failed the mission

Molly seems to have been very confused and wouldn't load onto the drop pod. Lucky the last 10 seconds it let us into the drop pod. Was playing as a group mission at the time.
