Hello everyone! I have been playing DRG for many hours and several promotions after RED 3, however in this new level feature it only appeared as lvl 1, do you know of any solution? My progress is not reflected there 😦
You mean you're legendary promoted but the number above is 1?
yep after RED 3 I promoted several times in the past and now with the new update it is assumed that this progress should be reflected in levels, but it only appeared with level 1
Anything else that you lost? credits/cores/blue levels...?
Nope, just that, I should have at least more than lvl 1 since I promoted several times after RED 3.

Yes, typical things like custom difficulty, my teammates with whom I always play, with the same mods, their levels were reflected.
I guess you could try reverting to an older save but I don't think it's gonna work. Check options -> save menu -> restore save
If it doesn't work you should make a bug report. Make sure to include that you used mods. #report-a-bug
Do they crash often?
they used to crash when the core stone started, and they say they crash often in some other multiplayer games
Might just be related to their hardware. If they're on older hardware it's normal to crash. If they crash often on DRG they can try launching in dx11/ updating their drivers

Has the Crystal Nucleation bug been discussed yet?
If not, if a gas cloud (from a praetorian at least) comes into contact with the lingering effect of the Crystal Nucleation OC's ice spikes, the cloud will explode, dealing enough damage to instantly down any dwarf inside it. It also causes them to immediately be frozen solid upon being revived.
Just wanted to check, has it been noted that the micro-conductor add on can be received even if you already have the OC?

Is anyone else having a problem of crashing whenever you attempt to join a game? I run a few verified mods through MINT and tried joining games completely vanilla but I'm having the same issue
Does anyone else have an issue with the general optimization of the game? My system went from handling ultra graphics at 60 fps before the update, and now it's on the lowest graphics and reaching like 30. I checked my drivers and everything and nothing is wrong.
I have a few other issues but I'm not even sure if bugs caused those (game felt like it randomly got way harder after s5 released, even without the new enemies. I think it might be because GSG included the +8 stuff to all missions, but I'm also not sure.)
Anyone not able to see any servers at all or connect to any? This has been looping for about 10 min now (I just reinstalled)

hmm i had a similar issue in experimental but relating to the closed up corestone rifts
i thought it was mod related because i was in a lobby, crashed, rejoined after they completed the event and there was massive cubes of the white bedrock that fills the rifts after the event

I have search distance set to world, hazard level to all, and seasons to all
too many servers to list
even when searching medium or close it's possible to not see lobbies without a mission selected just because there's too many joinable ones

am I the only one who has issues with the platform gun shooting way lower than it usually does
It completely messed up my muscle memory and idk why it's doing that

Fun fact: The rocket mine overclock for hurricane not work on core stone. The rockets are sticking to it instead of exploding so the hurrigane with this OC against it is literally useless

this clip is from a bit over a year ago but i don't recall ever seeing anything about the sound being replaced/removed
using no mods in the current version of the game there's no gurgling sound at the end

As a person addicted to the sludge pump myself when I do driller, the faint whine and fizzing sound of dissolving grunt is well familiar to me, and I couldn't hear it in that clip
this is a better clip, this death sound does not seem to play at all in the current game version

but for the bug : there was a bug that I believe got fixed multiple times with sounds
where they simply did not play when not "in view"
I think sound is still pretty messed up in some area
like all glyphids currently being silent when moving, except for dreadnoughts

Is this a bug? I am used to frameworks 'hiding' the default skin they come with when selected. But I think that's only for DLC. So since you can unlock Danger Dice and Flaming Hot separately I guess it's intended?
sludge's death sound was never intentionally changed though, right? so i assume whatever's going on with the death sound is a bug

Is it intentional that all seasons independently have challenge slots that gradually fill over time? Because if so, that's cool. I can flip between seasons and get the most season progress bang for my mission/day.

Hi guys, I just promoted my Driller and supposedly got "Mint classic" weapon skin pack but its nowhere to be found. I then forged an overclock and had to choose a cosmetic and I went with driller as well and ALSO got the "mint classic" weapon skin pack.... Now I got it twice but I didn't receive it at all. The game then crashed too, I sent the report and restarted.

also, changing season give skin perks when u switch back from 1 to another.

New thing on Escort Duty is bugged. I kept dying when trying to climb ledges after the Rock Claw got me. (Also had Jet Boots on at the same time)
that temp shock is still happening, though what I thought was a bug that required another person, that wasn't the case, apperently it can be done alone too

don't know what caused the crash, but I pheromoned a stingtail and the last thing I heard was a million swarmers attacking it.
You can use drillers c4 to end the core stone event immediately by placing it before it spawns
You may have just encountered the failsafe condition. Sometimes the core stone can’t spawn rifts or something due to the terrain so it just dies instead.
No while the stone was charging up my driller buddy hit the c4 and boom
The whole event ended before the rifts appeared
that's the failsafe
When you start it and it can't find a spot to create rifts it ends
The icon for the Dark Future armor currently is showing sleveless variants if you have the option set.

This is often a problem with connection when joining someone else's game
Your client isn't syncing properly with the host and so the drill is moving past things that haven't been drilled for you yet.
Hi everyone does anyone know how to fix the cargo crate bug where it says you already collect everything but infact haven't?
I had this issue with the lost gear, but I only got it once and never again after that
On a side note, has anyone gotten duplicate overclocks? I already have Micro-Conductor Add-On from when it was Turret Arc, but I got the matrix core from the Kursite event just now.

anyone noticed that the new OC for the hurricane makes the reload key not work some of the time?
It's because disperse is hold-reload, while reloading is push-reload, but the timing window for holding is very short.
So sometimes it just registers it as the other one already.

hello, i know this isnt exacly a bug but , im having problems trying to open the game and idk how to fix it, every time i try it tells me "the following componentrs are requierd to run the game 'DirectX Rintime' do you want to intsall them" but when i say yes it says its already installed.
modding page appears empty for me and all my friends any ideas?
go into the game properties on steam go into launch options and try changing to a different directx version, if it's in 11 swap it to 12 and vice versa. there is also a safe mode that may do something

Bosco AI bug: When targeting a Bha Barnacle with a laser pointer, it causes him to malfunction with the Rocket system. He won't shoot a rocket, until he is targeting an attackable enemy, then he shoots a rocket at the first Bha Barnacle targeted on his own.
I just wanted to state this as well though I had it on a salvage mission and it happened when I broke the corestone with a pickaxe. IT was engineer and gunner as the only classes in the Radioactive Exclusion Zone. Yes it was modded. No sandbox mods or any mods that modify the corestone (as far as I know most of them arent updated) The corestone was broken and immediately tried to reconstruct itself but then just fell I dont believe any rifts even opened.
Apparently it is a failsafe if it can't find anywhere to spawn rifts. You would get the same effect last season in industrial sabotage missions with the lithophage meteors, calling in the core crackers and the random locations selected for them to land were in the caretaker causing it to just break immediately after calling them.
Every time i'm not the host in a deep scan mission, the distance bar does not show up. Does anyone know a way to make it appear?

My guess its probably mods that are buggy due to the update so switch off any mods that you have for a while until they are updated (if you don't have mods I have no clue ._.)

I have a bunch of client side mods but it's all HUD or small things and it wasn't like this last time I played a couple months ago
it should be a temporary thing, i suspect it is the different gfx effects we have in the game the first time they get cached. Normally we make it into the build, but we are having technical issues and it might not be working

- Disable your mods (can do so by using the Safe mode launch option)
- Update your GPU drivers
- Reinstall your drivers using DDU so all leftovers are properly removed
- Try launching with dx11 (Steam only)
- Verify the game's files
- Try to install the game on another drive
- Make sure your save is not corrupted (back it up somewhere, then delete it from the game's folder)

had a bug a couple days ago where a morkite seed clipped through the ground because the drillevator landed on top of it, it apeard every couple of minutes and the map falling through the floor a couple times and then disapearing again (didnt have to get it because there were more morkite seeds then i needed)

If you have a mission selected and the reroll timer hits zero (Every half an hour in real life), the mission terminal will keep the outdated mission table

What should hapen is if you close and reopen the table after a reroll, you should have a new mission set, but that doesn't happen when you have a mission sellected

I am growing increasingly tired of Huuli Hoarders being spooked by gunfire happening nowhere near them (Greater than 20 meters for firing position, target, and all points between)

The mission table should reroll when you exit and re enter the terminal after the timer resets, right?
I believe the platform gun is firing slightly below the centre of the crosshair, this is throwing me way off compared to before season 5
Dunno if this would be considered a bug, but the altitude the drop pod shows when it is in the space rig is ridiculous. 37km is absurdly low for an orbital installation, especially one out past several moons. Unless Hoxxes is actually really, really tiny. The ISS is between 413 and 422km up.
no, not if you have had it open within a minute or 2 of it rerolling. It has to be like that for multiplayer synch issues

there is always a posibility that we are not talking about the same thing. But i understand your issue to be that it should reroll regardless of what has happened when you reach the timer on the mission map right?
If you are still in the terminal when it happens, it should stay the same, from my experience (player lev 512), the table should only update when you leave and re enter the terminal

yeah, I have noticed some get lithophage warnings if you switch to seasons 3 and 4
you can force the daily beer to change, randmly, by changing seasons, by the way
the base map is the same, but different modifiers depending on season AND s3/4 adds additional missions with lithophage
No, that changes every time you reset the space rig, promoting, press the disband team button, you can even restart the game.
Because it wouldn't make canonical sense to fight lithophage during S1 or does that happen (haven't checked)
Oh, that reminds me, I collected a data cell in season 5 and it awarded me one of the core stone scrip. I got a core stone in the same mission, and that also awarded me core stone scrip from the season 5 progress pass
did the third scan but didnt count it. i think ive soft locked the mission
it is because we specifically made extra missions for S3/4 and we couldnt realistic undo that, so it had to sya and work the same

the game was never made to be able to switch season, so there are some smaller things that doesnt make 100% perfect sense with switching seasons 🙂

Ok, so you didn't connect a rock cracker pod to it, you connected the provided relay
(For context you can connect the rock cracker pods that you can get from lithophage meteor eventss to it instead and vice versa, AFAIK this could softlock it since this is not intended)

I, for one, thank you for reactivating them. It means I can make meaningful progress on each season pass with my missions when one seasons challenges don't like up with my assignments.
You can, theoretically, get a lithophage meteor event in any mission
except lithophage warning missions
also, dammit, now I want to softlock a deep dive by linking the drop pod refuelling pod to a resonance crystal

Ok, to update you, I have selected a mission from the last half hour and the table has not updated 15 minutes after the reroll even after I exited and re entered the terminal. It should be a new set of missions, right?

Hello there guys, I have a question. I'm not sure if this would be a bug or not but I'm posting it in this channel just in case. So, I just updated my game for the new season and everything's fine and all but now I have a huge "physix > cpu" text on the left side of the screen, I did some quick research and I know how to disable the text already but this supposledly only shows when a game uses the nvidia physix tech. Did this get added in the new updates? Cause I've been playing the game for years now and this is the very first time this text shows

I hate bringing up vague things like this, but has anyone noticed that client side behavior feels just...off since the Season 5 update? I played the new season yesterday for the first time, 3 hour session with 2 other people in the same room, and as client, I kept noticing little things felt off. Like PP left over from TCF would take a second or two to pop in, stuff like that. I have several hundred hours in the game and kinda noticed it right away, but it's hard to exactly quantify. Curious if other DRG vets have noticed anything. I did see in the patch notes that projectile direction was a bit off, which may have been a contributing factor, but felt like more than just that, like the netcode was a little wonky

Hi, I have a recurring problem with connection to only 1 of my friends. It was bad in the previous season but now it feels even worse. We have good internet, live close to each other and can play with other players but not together because we keep constantly lagging and disconnecting. Now we can't really play this game together - in the previous season we'd disconnect maybe once or twice, now it's almost every minute. We've been playing DRG basically from the beginning and it only started happening now. I've found one post on reddit saying it's an issue with a bad route between our computers and that we should buy VPN but... Well, we don't really want that. Is there another solution?

Patch fixed the having to prompt reload multiple times to get guns to reload with the hurricane's Cluster Charges OC, but anyone having issues getting it to actually work without a massive delay now? holding R takes a solid 2 seconds to trigger the cluster, feels much worse than the reload bug

I got my Scout up to level 5 yesterday, and now when I log on I'm back to level 2. All my credits and materials have been used for upgrades, but my upgrades are gone. Same for perk points. Anyone knows why this is?
I was just playing gunner now, and my shield would not deploy. It was start of game, so no delays were expected. I select the shield and click, but it wouldn't deploy and just switch to my primary gun instead.

I've fell through the map twice when loading into a game today(no drop pod), I don't know if it's a bug or if it's just me, but what roughly it was, I had rejoined matches that I had left, one I left because my game wasn't loading properly on the loading screen, and the other I left after joining for what ever reason I left for
The second one I was a scout, and I had used the grappling hook to latch onto the morkite geode and kinda phased through a wall and was just kind of stuck

I keep getting disconnected from missions. Everything in game 'freezes in place' with looping animations, actions have no impact, for about five seconds and then poof, I'm gone. I'm not having this issue in other games, nor do I remember this happening the last time I played DRG (admittedly about a year ago). My game files verify entirely fine, and all drivers I have are fully up to date and downloaded directly from the best source for drivers for the device (so, Intel in the case of my Killer E2200 network adapter) not Device Manager, as that tends to give older drivers). I'm on wired ethernet, so it's not a wifi packet-loss-microwave-pipes-in-walls issue.
Some missions I'm perfectly fine on and things go great. Occasionally I'll get disconnected from a mission and if I Alt-F4 fast enough before getting the "disconnected" message, and relaunch the game client, I get the option to reconnect. But I just recently had a game where I did this and eventually ended up getting disconnected three times over the course of the mission, with me not being fast enough with Alt-F4 on the third disconnect.
I'm now sitting here with Resource Monitor open, filtering on FSD-Win64-Shipping.exe, on the Network tab, so that I can confirm that Windows isn't seeing any signs of packet loss of any kind, but until I get that evidence, does anyone have any idea what might be going on?
EDIT: Couldn't get it to disconnect while I was monitoring it. 🤷♂️
I am legitimately upset that the core stone can actually block drop pods. We had the BEST run I've ever seen and we lost it all to the core stone blocking the drop pod.

Hi. I have a bit of a unique issue and was curious if anyone else experienced this.
When I play Deep Rock Galactic on my steam deck with a mouse and keyboard and I go to switch weapons with the mouse wheel the game will sometimes skip the next weapon (example: I scroll and go from weapon 1 to weapons 2, but then I scroll again and it goes from weapon 2 to weapon 4, ect).
A few things I tested out to try and find the issue:
-Played with different docking stations/usb hubs connected to steam deck. Issue persists.
-Played with different mice. Issue persists.
-Tested mice on my Windows desktop PC. No issue. Only happens on Steam Deck.
-Tested other games on Steam Deck. No issue. Only happens with Deep Rock Galactic.
I'm also using Proton Experimental. Haven't tested other versions of proton.
EDIT: I have now tested Proton hotifx, 9, 8, and 7. Issue persists. Versions prior to 7 seem to not boot up the game.

Has anyone else noticed on Deep Scan missions when you reach the geode, the drillevater's claw tracks stop moving, the drill starts to move a lot faster, and the falling sound plays all before you get into the geode? I've noticed this the past 3 times i've played Deep Scan
I think that's intentional, like it's slowly grinding through the last bit before dramatically falling into the geode chamber. Also gives MC time to say "here we go, geode chamber"

I was playing a solo mission, and right after the mission control guy said "we've reached our target depth, hang tight", I died. The drillevator then proceeded to clip directly through this rock layer. The claw tracks on the sides of the drillevator did still manage to dig through the rock, which was strange

I did testing on sandbox and found the damage not adding up, you're almost one shot on haz 3 solo now? that aint right.
Also, I don't know how long this has been happening, but some gas clouds do drastically less DoT, they explode for much less too.
Seems to be a common problem.
My game just crashed too, the only thing I can think of in relation to previous crashes, is I was using the sludge pump.
I don't really know how this happens but this is base hazard 5. Maybe this was extremely unlucy but I highly doubt this is intentional by the devs

dont have any video proof of it, but got a weird one where driller went straight through the core stone, the entire fight is bypassed somehow (stone just falls to the ground), mission control messages 4 times that the stone is dormant and hes sending a pod, and then theres a single pod

This usually happens 3-5 mins after getting jet boots. It also has been happening since before the new season started.

I keep crashing due to all the outdated mods I'm trying to install... Fortunately, I found one of the Gremlins causing one of my woes (Vanity Search; Somehow made it so the pickaxe parts chooser (didn't test any other menus) would just... not actually open) but I have no idea if the most recent crash is related...
Anyhow, why I'm here is... would it be alright if I threw in my email for the devs so if whoever reads my crash reports finds any more Gremlins, they can let me know?

Otherwise why would the game almost always be spawning bugs in a spread out fashion in most other cases? Clearly that's the intent.

Any idea why the game is just, crashing a lot for me? I have a nice, mid-high end PC, new as of this year, updated, drivers, works like a charm, I have only a few clientside mods installed (all sound effects or simple cosmetic changes, nothing elaborate) and I am just.. crashing every few games with this update.

I'd doubt it, on the case that my modding is extremely light. SFX mods have never given me grief over the many updates I've played, and the cosmetic changes are just- 'this revolver looks like this, and this gun has a crosshair" that's quite literally it. Not impossible, but the changes are so minute that I'd be shocked if it were the case.

Hitboxes stopped working, i couldn't grind, deposid, or start extracting. This occured after a lot of ore has been laying on the ground. Some enemies were invincible and could be only damaged by throwing granade or bosco.

I'm noticing the lag from playing in some servers causes enemies to hit me and my mates before the enemy animation even strikes. This is quite a bit different than before the update. There are lots of games where other dwarves are complaining about getting hit before enemy animations finish, especially during the Core Stone event. Anybody here having issues with this as well? There's a lot of phantom hits going on.
Solo games with the Core Stone event don't even make sense to me. I'm getting hit twice as much in those as enemy animations kicking off. That event is hands down the worst when the lag is really bad. I'm trying to get friends to come back and play with me, but they don't like the phantom hit boxes from the Core Stone.
Adding on to the Core Stone event, some enemies were under the terrain at spots where small exploders left craters. One mate thinks this is why we were experiencing tons of extra hits that weren't even there.
I believe that Shield Battery Booster may be bugged with the mod T5A on the Drak. I don't know if it's just me, or if it's something else, but I can't reliably get the weapon to manually overheat by pressing R (reload). It sometimes will just play the inspect animation. It will manually overheat seemingly randomly and has no correlation with by shield amount or ammo it seems. I'm not sure what's preventing the manual overheat so I assumed it was a bug

you definitely get PP for macguffins from other seasons, like data cubes and plaguehearts. intentional or not, dunno, but probably they didn't want to bother coding the macguffin PP award to check for the current "active season" you have selected
Dunno if this is known but I feel like it's a bug, the burning nightmare mod for the EPC has a small grace period when it's fired, making it explode and become useless if it touches ANYTHING, plant, bug, scouts ass, it seems to only be a thing on console and work just fine on steam, again don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but it makes using the mod really difficult cause it will sometimes just blowup on air when I shoot it

hello i would like to report another bug, the armskoil this time around, when using the triple tech chamber and necro thermal catalyst, the fire explosion when killing a bug on fire works but theres no explosion animation, trying the same but with the hell fire oc it does have the explosion fire effect

my friend unlocked the buff weapon paintjob and it shows as solid white on both my end and his when equipped
so finally got a chance to test it, placing a C4 on a core stone pillars stump after activating the event will force the event to end prematurely. apparently it doesn't like C4 touching it.

Devs said that you can't join a deep scan after the drillevator has been started. Probably because there is no way for three of the classes to survive dropping down the shaft.
Hey guys, so i've encountered an issue and i don't really know how to solve it. Me and my friends were trying to play DRG together, but my ping is high as hell. We've tried everything we can imagine to solve this issue and now we can't even imagine what could even cause this. Additional thing is that when i open the game, they cannot hear me in discord, even though it shows no ping and i can hear them well.
Anyone knows what could cause large amounts of ping? My internet connection is alright so i don't think it's just that

not really a bug but yeah, if there were any weapon frameworks from old seasons that you didn't unlock, they got moved out of the crate pool and back into their respective season
I have a question and I'm not sure where it falls, but I joined the Discord via the browser opened by a terminal in the space rig for the miners union thing, but it keeps just displaying "join the miners union" and asking if I want to join the discord
Also, if you shoot at the "Unknown Material" that is beyond the compressed granite at the end of the world, your gun doesn't do the bullet animation. The easiest way to experience this is firing up the drop pod shaft in a salvage mission.
interestingly, my friends and i tried to do a few missions, namely both deep dives and one in the magma core, and 2 got a crash while the host was able to enter, seems to be multiplayer only

And when its with friends, practically every biome is bugged and everyone but host crashes
Also, I enjoyed the ebonite mutator. It is nice to see those bugs outside of machine events. Though the power attack being freely available for the entire mission thanks to the mule coughing up the supercharges means you can carve through walls a lot easier.
I do have to wonder: Why are we killing the Bha Barnacles? I have no problem killing wildlife, and even less problem being paid to do so, but I am curious.

correction on this, the turrets can only arc when they are 4 to 5 meters apart or closer, while the circle indicator is still the normal size

might be some mod misbehaving, bc earlier I couldn't electrify platforms with plascrete mkII on, and the cause was the mod that changes the color based on effect
Also, has anyone else noticed that playing solo, the voice line at the start of the mission often doesn't appear to be in the same voice as the dwarf you are controlling? It's most noticable with the driller and it coming out as though it were the engineer or scout talking
i don't have any mod other than mod hub and cosmetic restriction unlocker on, and i was using PGL when encountering this bug
Also, whacking a resonance crystal with a pickaxe, at least for me, displays particle effects for hitting ommoran stuff, which is disconcerting because it makes it look like the white crystal is bleeding red crystal
also, i had plascrete mkII but can still electrify platforms like normal
I don't have mod hub, so either isn't mods, or is just the existence of mods (like the weird beard flickering)

Finally, I have only played Deep Scan missions solo, so am I supposed to get four voice lines from mission control about the drillevator?
1: When you do the final resonance crystal and the sending of it
2: Right after that when it is sent in
3: Another when it has landed and set up
4: The final one telling you that everyone has to be on it to get it moving.
All these play when I am a very long way from the object, usually still harvesting things around the last resonance crystal.
It seems like 3 should play when people get close, and 4 when the buttons are pressed and one or more players are not on it.
Is scorching tide not triggering the t5 explosion mod intended or a bug?

Cluster was bad on magma because it made everywhere covered in tiny spots, but mortar was manageable. The carving was very cool and had unconventional applications, it will be missed.
I noticed that when you use the recoil reduction mod on the stubby with the new overclock the reduction continues to display -30% instead of scaling to -45% like with the bulldog (displays -62% instead of -25% with elephant rounds). Does this count as a typo or bug?
Has anybody noticed that Septic Spreader corpses have been maintaining their collision (and as a result, their bounciness) even after they die? I presume this is not an intended feature as it isn't shared with any other Glyphids to my knowledge, though it could possibly be the result of one of the mods I play with (though I'm inclined to doubt that on account of all of them being verified).
I am wondering if it is intended behaviour that the drop pod arriving on mission start has been hitting Rival Tech enemies so often for me.
Last mission I did, it landed on a Prospector, which meant I basically emerged into a cloud of shredders and patrol bots and wiped off one of it's three health segments. This is the second time this has happened.
Furthermore, I have now landed on Rival Nemesis bots three times, killing them instantly and getting blasted by the phase bombs shortly after emergence.

So apparently if you get a low gravity level and find jets within it, you can fly up all the way through a drop pod trail. And with a little help from drills you can clip through the terrain from the top.

Just wanted to check if anyone else has noticed this. I've been doing Season 1, and when I collect the data cells, they don't count for the scrip bonus from the terminal, it's happened to me twice now where I fight a prospector, collect the cell, and nothing happens for the terminal.

No prob, if you aren't using any mods you can report it now. If you're using mods recreating it without mods and reporting it would be preferred, but if you don't want to play that much you can just report it with mods

Hey was the Scout Flare gun bug actually fixed? I checked the bug tracker, and said it was fixed in s5.0, but it's still occuring. The bug being that sometimes in lobbies with multiple scouts, the first shot from the flare gun will be a dud and immediately fissle out.
