The rockpox debuff kept building up even when I'm not in contact with any rockpox source
( source in that mission: corrupter, its plagueheart and larva, meteor plagueheart )

Estimated cause of this bug:

1. get 100% infected while depositing
2. get 100% infected while riding on a rail

the situation persisted until I was down and revived by my friend

Two bugs related to clothing. In the victory screens all character's sleeveless armor adds the sleeves back. And from the first person view the Lederhosen armor will show your hands as if you are wearing another armor set.

Octoberfest event not working properly

Rock and stone, brothers! A fellow miner is having some troubles with the Octoberfest event in Deep Rock Galactic.

• His lobby lacks any of the event decorations or theming.
• He did not receive any event rewards and all assignments say "unavailable" with a message about no internet connection - but this isn't the problem, as he can connect to friends without issue.
• When joining my lobby, he can see the Octoberfest decor, but still has the same missing assignment and event beer purchase problems.
• I've attached some screenshots showing these issues.
  Antivirus and firewalls are disabled, so it seems to be another technical problem.

Has anyone else dealt with these event issues? Any help troubleshooting would be much appreciated so he can properly participate in Octoberfest celebrations. Let me know if any other details would help! Thanks miners!

I don't feel like making an account for the super-special bug reporting website but if it's not a known thing yet y'all should be aware that apparently copying and pasting the loadout for Bosco will also affect the perks of all of your class loadout slots, which means twenty-four different loadouts will have the exact same perks as one another

As I can barely remember what I had for breakfast, much less what twenty-four different loadouts had for perks, I'm too annoyed to really play Deep Rock for the next while.

Which is a shame, because it's one of my favorite games!

It's the last boss and I can't kill him in this state so I had to abort the mission for the first time.
His three shields didn't regen and he wasn't doing his Sentinel call after I shot his weak point with the revolver that dealt like 1/5 or 1/6 of his HP.
He was running around not attacking me and screaming. I just stand and running around waiting for his Sentinels to come and nothing happened, moved to a more open space and still nah.

I recently downloaded the DRG: Survivor demo, I’m very excited for the full release. Here are the bugs I’ve encountered:

-The Minimap still displays Resupply Pods, even after they’ve been collected and removed from the map.

-Hazard 2 causes damage numbers to disappear

-Humorously, once when I started a stage, Scout exited the drop pod from much higher up, causing him to fall to the ground.

-I died after I entered the drop pod at the end of a stage, resulting in the screen to fade to black while I was in the mid-stage upgrade menu.

I've tried setting it to the headset itself but also default device, default communication device, etc. I changed the default devices in Windows too. when I first started working on this, I read somewhere that you can't specify the headset specifically but need to set it to default or default communication device. either way it didn't make a difference for me, either with Equalizer APO or not.

might be an issue with the mixer, but first try these

1. make sure the mic's 3.5mm is plugged completely into the headset
2. make sure the headset's 3.5mm is plugged completely into the mixer
3. try plugging the mixer into a different USB port
4. if your computer has a combo 3.5mm port, try plugging the headset directly in
5. if it doesn't, try using a different audio mixer that has combo 3.5mm to usb (something like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J7P0OGI/ )

you can raise the db of the mic in DRG.. maybe that'd fix it. or turn off push to talk and see if having the mic always active helps.

That is one thing I noticed too, in DRG it shows a random decibel setting. Sometimes it’s grayed out and sometimes it is lit up. I can try turning it to always active to continue troubleshooting, that is a good idea.

Hello.. I wish I could ask for a fix but I dnt think its fixable.. My hard drive got corrupted and i tried to save it but had to format it.. And so lost all drg save data. steam cloud is not a ideal backup solution, if you corrupt a save, steam will simply just sync that.

@forest geode I recommend using the ingame save restore feature as DRG has its own cloud saves 🙂

Hoi o/ i have trouble with discord when i run this game (this problem appears with this game only). Discord won't recocnice my Mic sometimes when i leave or enter a Mission. I think I may have found an issue for Linux users as to keep the game from crashing.

Disable Shader Pre-Caching by going to Steam > Settings > Downloads, and tick off shader pre-caching.
Then nuke the Proton Prefix if you were to change Proton versions. Go to the game in your Steam Library, right click and navigate to properties > Installed Files > Browse install location > then go back a couple of directories to steamapps > compatdata > and delete the folder that has the same numbers as the game ID that you can find by navigating to the Deep Rock Galactic game one Steam on your Web Browser.

I'm also going to add that this increased my FPS from 55-80 fps all the way to 70-100 fps on max graphic settings. Just another thing to think about for Linux users at least.

Found a seemingly harmless bug where the game can't decide if I'm the driller or the scout.

The weapon terminal opens in the scout screen, the pickaxe terminal opens on the driller page w/ the option to change to driller even though the game shows the driller icon in the top left & I have the driller's voice when I Rock & Stone, but I'm holding a default pickaxe because the loadout slot I'm using for driller hasn't been touched for the scout yet. The wardrobe screen does whatever this is with my first scout loadout & fourth driller loadout.

Edit: Jumped into a mission & the game fixed itself, spawning me as the scout w/ loadout A. So it is indeed harmless, hilarious nonetheless though.

I currently have some issues with my DLCs bought for the game:
I have only achieved some weapon skins (2) for each weapon
I haven't gotten a single armor trim, set or different look for any of the characters...
I have downloaded all contents, there's nothing that has to be downloaded in my Steam library
I have tried: Integrity files, restarted PC & Steam, the game several times

• My thoughts left is, do I have to unlock something in game, do a mission or anything to unlock the rest of the DLCs to get the cosmetics I should've gotten from it?

Only the decontaminator pack gives a framework, others give a weapon paint.

Having an issue with Industrial Sabotage mission, when I (in a party with one other) get to the start of the Caretaker part, it crashes the game. Happens every time, at least 10 times trying to fix it or change things slightly to see if it works. Nothing found yet helps it. It all just ends in crashing the game with an error box coming up.

hey I'm pretty sure this would be the right place to ask this but not quite sure. I've been trying to get several of the achievements I'm missing but most of them seem bugged. I've just gotten the "gold tier employee", went into a solo haz 5 mission, ran it without dying nor calling resups and didn't get the "karl would be proud". also tried a bunch of times to do the "time well spent" but never got it (I'll admit I might be missing one or two but people in my lobby got the achievement but not me so I'm not quite sure). Also had to restart the game like 3-4 times to get the "Darwin award". So I was wondering if there is something I can do or I just have to accept that my game is bugged and won't be getting most of the achievements?

Can't post if for some reason, but when the drop pod timer to go to a mission is less than 5 seconds and the last dwarf enters the pod the counter jumps back up to 5 but the counter is actually still counting down from wherever it was when the last dwarf entered

(I guess I should update my earlier comment to reflect that, I don't actually hit 165, it's capped at 162 fps). 2) in-game vsync off 3) full screen 4) whatever the default is, I haven't changed Nvidia CPL global settings or per-game settings related to vsync

It's been a while, but I don't recall having to do much to get it to work, it just worked. What's your setup? Have you seen it work with other games?

Aside from the usual troubleshooting guide here #bug-discussion message I've found DRG hits both CPU and GPU pretty hard, which can cause thermal throttling pretty quick on laptops. This can manifest as lag/stuttering as CPU and/or GPU are throttled back. Might be worth looking into laptop thermals under load.

Has anyone ever gotten an "Exception_Access_Violation" crash? It's happened the last 4 times I've played now, and I've tried to send the crash report with the reporter but that crashes too. From what I have found the error appears to be related to my mods; one of them is outdated or isn't verified is what my Google-fu has returned, or it's entirely different and is a RAM issue.

Here's the basic process that I have tried so far to fix the crashes, with no solution in sight so far.

1. Disabled all mods in the in game mod manager. Did not work. Game crashed immediately in a solo game.
2. Unsubscribed from all mods. Did not work. Game crashed after 5 minutes in a multiplayer game.
3. Completely uninstalled graphics drivers with DDU and reinstalled from NVIDIA's website. Did not work. Game crashed within 2 minutes of loading into a haz 5 solo.
4. Completely reinstalled Windows 11. Did not work. Game crashed within 15 minutes in a multiplayer lobby, but was the longest I had gone without a crash.

I would've put this in the "report-a-bug" chat but I wanted first to see if anyone else had had this issue recently because I'm not very good at making reports of this type

No luck unfortunately, took the L. The error was different this time, and makes me think that it's actually an Unreal Engine problem with my PC hardware! I was successful in sending the crash log this time through the reporter too, and I'm going to start a UE thread about it and hope I can figure it out.

It really looks to me like there's a memory leak somewhere with UE, and I need more thorough help, so I'm gonna start compiling stuff to make a thread.

recently upgraded to a new pc & i don't think the drop pod's digging particles are supposed to appear like this; tried a few things but haven't found a fix - was wondering if this is known to any extent / any possible solutions (tried the reduced digging particles mod but it was unaffected)

updates the GPU drivers/use dx11/make sure the game is using the right GPU

everything's up to date & using the right gpu
dx11 also had it occurring when i did the usual self checks (verify files, no mods, dx level, etc)
