Okay, the game is freezing for me as well. Can't get past the company logos, and the time I'm in the game before it freezes is inconsistent. I have tried all of this:

Safe mode
DX11
Reinstalling
Deleting the save files
updating GPU drivers (there aren't any new ones currently)
disabling fullscreen optimizations and running as administrator

And I don't have any spare drives with enough space to install it on, so I'm stuck with the one

I've been getting an audio bug since about 9 last night, where my audio is just completely filled by what sounds almost like a geiger counter, like thats the type of rapid clicking it's making. there seems to be no consistent thing that does cause any crashes

of course since its so random and intermittent and with the occascional BSDO as well i assumed it's been a problem with my PC so i ran tests

but all tests work out fine and i never have crashing issues in any other game or software

No gold: Was playing a mission with a friend as a driller, using cryo cannon and microwave gun. We were taking down a crassius detonator and i scored the final hit killing with the freezerburn mechanic. The crassius then disintegrated, not exploding into a glorious profitable explosion. Is this a bug or an intentional gameplay design? Also if you are playing the new boot game when the server closes it freezes the game.

This has probably been reported hundreds of times but idk, i've noticed it on on-site refining missions every time i do one and just now decided to actually report it. Once you've got all the pipelines connected and built, the mission control line about the refinery extracting liquid morkite plays, followed by the regular line about all pipelines being connected and prompting the player to start the refinery. Once you actually start up the refinery, the mission control line about the the liquid morkite extraction plays a second time.

Maybe I'm missing something or I've triggered that by forging the overclock before unlocking the option to use it? I am experiencing heavy stutters while playing. I should be able to run DRG, as my pc is far outreaching the requirements with a 2060 super and a ryzen 5 3600. I have tried everything internet suggested doing, but nothing seems to work. My task manager says it is using 0% of my gpu. Does any of you have solutions to why this is happening, and how I might be able to fix it? (playing on xbox version)

I've tried other games and those seem to be randomly crashing too. Only problem I know of is I updated Windows last night and since then, all these problems started. I've tried uninstalling those updates from last night but it doesn't seem to be working.

this error is related to a gpu not responding to any requests. that update must have messed up with your gpu drivers. i can suggest you see if there are any new drivers for your gpu; if there are none, roll back to the one you had before the update

As far as I can tell, the 3080 is the only option for it, it can't use anything else. Either way I went into Nvidia control panel and changed it to always use high performance. I tried again in DX11 and it still crashed after a while and gave me this error.

Also can't hurt to throw that in here too :

• Disable your mods (can do so by using the Safe mode launch option)

I don't have any mods installed. I even went into the files and deleted the mod folders though it still tries to install them when I logged back on. GPU is updated and have reinstalled. Verified the files many times. Tried launching it in DX11 and safe mode. Don't have another drive to install it but this is a fresh install after a system reinstall.

How is it trying to use integrated GPU when I have it disabled? As far as I can see in settings the 3080 is the only thing that's visible.

Reinstalled driver again and it's the same error. The game runs for a few minutes then crashes.

so i just got thrown outside the map so hard that, after like 10 seconds of my dwarf screaming for his mommy and seeing the markers of my team go like 3 km away, everything went pitch black and all my HUD disappeared. I can't even shoot, check the terrain scanner or salute, and can only wait for them to finish the rest of the mission

The closest post to this on pleasefix i found is about when a person got thrown outside the map by a rival nemesis in an identical manner, only i was simply running through a cave tunnel

The response to that post is that it has to do with my computer not meeting the requirements, which I can believe, and the issue is marked as closed, so I suppose that's that?

At first time i had same thought, but season 4 didn't brought something "heavy" into the game unlike season 3, which didn't had random stutter issues. So now i think hardware can't be the number 1 reason

Alright, this is tentative but I think I've fixed my problem, I managed to go through a whole mission and still going, when earlier I could barely get into one. I had to go into my GraphicsDriver Registry Key and add some key values that were apparently missing. No idea how they went missing in the first place but for now, it seems to have worked. I also removed and replaced my RAM physically but who knows if that did anything. @mystic tapir @storm tendon

I have a potential bug, very minor. In borderless window mode the mouse still gets taken to ui boxes / the centre of the screen when you are tabbed out:
for example if you tab to Discord after completing a mission and are navigating its ui your mouse gets hijacked when you charecter returns and gets a box to accept their mission rewards

It's been said before, but my friend @quasi apex is completely unable to enjoy the game due to some issue regarding saving. If he saves the game and attempts to load a save, the game crashes. He therefore cannot make any progress in the game whatsoever.

Is anyone able to help out? He bought the game more than a week ago and we've seen no improvement.

He's got an i7-4710 with integrated graphics, 8GB of RAM, and more than enough storage. Everything is up-to-date and he can play the game normally--he just can't save his progress.

Anyone ever just get stuck inside the site refinery pipes? Not even when you build them, well after theyre built. Its happened twice now and once just now. Lost a mission because of it.

i have a bug where when i launch the game during the logo and loading phase music plays pretty loud and overlapse itself and is kinda gritty, the music continues into the game and doesnt stop. oddly enough when i mute deep rock in sound mixer the music doesnt stop however it only happens when i play the game. Hi i recently have a problem where i keep disconnecting mid game. So i forced my PC (im using a laptop) to reset my IP stack/network adapter as per the instructions (disable IPv6 and type and press enter as administrator in cmd "netsh int ip reset" and "netsh winsock reset") on the steam community page. Doing so removed the issue however, it increases my input lag to 4 to 5 seconds. This never happened even when i was disconnecting very consistently (before doing the IPv6 thing). I have no idea what to do next for the fear of breaking my game or laptop entirely.

I came across a bug that makes the game think you’re in a team, while also thinking at the same time that you’re not, so you can disband the team and when it finishes loading you still have the option to disband, you also cannot join or invite anyone, and whenever you load up the game it says that the multiplayer session has ended which basically limits you to solo missions. I was just attacked by nothing (not the ghost detonator), and pulled/glitched into the floor. When I died I ended up glitching through the floor till I reached the cave below.

Got an odd bug.
Opening up the game or loading into a lobby/the space rig, a trailer version of Attach of the Glyphids seems to play. It sounds almost identical to those snippets of the soundtrack you hear as you mouse over the DLC menu in game, but it plays when I boot up the game for the first time and seems to repeat even when in mission.

Hey, I have this weird music bug going on every time I launch the game. For some reason it plays one of the escape pod songs over and over again like non stop. I had this weird thing happen today in an Escort mission. Once we got to our first fuelling spot, we took the canisters out and began to refuel. After a few minutes, I realised my canister wasn't refuelling even as it mined oil shale. Other players tried to use it and found they couldn't even fire it. The other canister was fine. if on a desktop and you're able to, try removing your gpu and reseating it. if that doesn't help, you can try removing it and seating it into a lower pcie slot.

if you are running an AV, disable it or add Unreal Engine/DRG to your trusted list. a lot of AV flag Unreal Engine as a false positive.

is your OS up to date? make sure to update it. make sure that Steam and DRG are also the most up to date.

since you are using an nVidia card, disable Game Booster if you have it enabled.

depending on your CPU, the game may be trying to start up using your integrated gpu rather than your dedicated gpu, In your nVidia control panel, you can select DRG and force it to run off dedicated.

Happened at the start of a hazard 3 mission and it never ended- was just on-site refinery mission in the sand place. No special modifiers, just a basic mission.
We also had a corruptor there as well, but that wasn't part of the swarm.

i was playing on a modded profile and decided to use the subata on my scout because a scout having a pistol just fits imo and so i decided to equip it and as it turns out you can't use mods like the karl mod and then switch a weapon to a class it wasn't meant for and use the mods and overclocks meant to go on that weapon

so in short

using a mod that lets a class use a weapon from another class results in the weapon being base stats for all classes but the one it was meant for

Launch the game in dx11 mode. If that doesn't help, try safe mode. If things are still an issue, make sure to update OS, GPU drivers, and chipset drivers.

If safe mode fixed it, then that means one of your mods was crashing the game.

It was the thing thats like, a ball, with 4-8 wires coming off of it, into seed pod like antennas spread around it, and i had to hack 3 of them before it detonated

It wasnt a machine event, cause i didnt use a trytilite key
