(Steam) I recently had a bug where it said that the game version was not the same as the host's for a split second when joining another lobby via LFG. If you had this bug, check the integrity of game files with the Properties menu.

I also set my game version to launch the normal game and not drg_legacy, if that helps.

2. manually removed DRG from my discord games and re-add it
3. leaving this server and rejoining it with the ingame link/button after doing the above
4. additionally (though i was sure it would be nothing) i made sure that both my discord and steam (which are linked through discord) were set to online (usually i am on invisable for both)

Game No Work. Help!

bought the game yesterday and installed it, everything looked to be installed correctly including verifying the files.
whenever i try to launch the game it launches and then immediately crashes

the steam button turns blue like it's running and says it is running but it doesn't appear on the taskbar and nothing happens like a game is launching

iirc drg is more intensive on the cpu. id recommend looking into power management settings in control panel, going into the advanced settings, and checking to see how the fans are set. the options are something like less noise, balanced, and best cooling

So... I just did a haz 3 elimination with a 13323 thunderhead, and I was able to kill all the dreadnoughts even when they were invincible. Like, the yellow and black one? I killed it before I even broke the armour. I'll see if I can do it again and record it

I've recently started encountering an issue where DRG will stop my left and right clicks on the mouse from working. The scroll wheel still works, and keyboard inputs still work. To make it worse, it somehow borks them for the entire PC even outside DRG and I have to do a full shutdown (it's persisted through a restart once). I tried looking into it and found a couple of people saying that running in windowed fullscreen was the culprit, so I changed to fullscreen, but it happened again. I've been playing with some guys for the past couple hours, and this just randomly happened. It only happened a couple out of the dozen of missions we did. I would have full sentry ammo, 515, and when I went to refill an empty sentry, it would glitch and show 5. From then on through the rest of the mission it would never change and I could keep refilling sentries without resupplying. The rest of the missions we did would use sentry ammo properly with no glitches.

I dont really know how to report this, but a friend of mine cant host missions, in the sense that if he host the mission will always crash his ps4 mid mission. This has been happening for over a year. Every now and then we give it a try where he hosts to see if the problem is fixed but its still happening.

Of course the easy fix would be, that ill host the lobby. But sometimes it would more convienient if he hosts.

He only crashes when hes host, otherwise hes just fine.

This also makes me wish the game had a host migration system. So we dont get booted out the moment a host leaves/crashes and get nothing for out effort. At least give other people a faillure screen so we get something.

Just hopped out of a mission where all four players were stuck at a 100% rockpox infestation level, there was no longer a trigger since we had taken care of the last litophages, but the visuals and sfx got really annoying after 10 mins or so. Seems to be related to being downed after being struck with rockpox, didnt think of getting a SS.

I think I found a bug: it seems like the missile launcher's tier 1 ammo upgrade is broken, it tells me it will give more max ammo but when I click it the number doesn't actually change :'c

So uh, I'm on an assignment to collect the survival Pick set or whathave you, and I'm on an escort mission for said assignment. I just unpacked Dorito and was gathering minerals from the first cavern before beginning the journey, when a meteor was destined to impact the area. Dorito was in the impact area, but there was no damage, which is good because THAT bout of bad luck would've been supremely frustrating to just instafail a mission before it began. Anyhow, I'm about to harvest the meteor before beginning the escort, and I just called in the rock cracker pods. But as soon as I finished calling them in, the whole meteor just despawns and leaves behind it's plague hearts.

The rock cracker pods also didn't come in either, both just despawned. Twas weird, maybe Karl picked a fight with it and it lost or something, idk. Welp, easiest meteor harvest I've ever done.

According to #1046798439016583178 message the Nahimic audio driver is known to cause issues with various games, including Deep Rock Galactic, and may as a side effect affect other subsystems such as networking. It is recommended to uninstall this software and any software that depends on it as part of the troubleshooting steps and to install the proper audio driver intended for your device instead.

I think i have found the root of my freeze/crash issues.
i was able to run the game without any issues now.

During my driver and software updates to resolve the issues, 'Nahimic' (and 'Nahimic 3' 'A-volute' etc) was installed again.
This app causing several issues for many games.
I was following this instruction on reddit to get rid of it completely:

Although I have found more instances of various versions of Nahimic in both Registry, Device manager and in system32 folders.

So i did get rid of 'Sonic Studio', too (i never even used it anyway)

hello, I have crashed several times today in the middle or at the beggining of a mission. I have almost no idea what causes it and the only thing that I suspect breaking stuff is a Mactera grabber or a Trawler spawning because in the crash log when I crashed the 2nd time it said something about a shark and in my latest one it said something like fatal error: unknown file /Enemies/FlyingBug/Grabber (not sure how it was exactly but something along those lines)

Hello folks; I have been playing Electrifying Reload. I've noticed that the bullets don't proc their effect until long into the reload animation (about 1/10 of a second)
I feel this is a bug, the expected behaviour is that ER procs on the first frame of the reload animation.
This behaviour also has the effect of making the proc non deterministic based on whether you have t1 reload speed or not.
How do I submit this as a bug report?
