So, for the stingtail thing, what if they programmed a delayed air brake after like .5 seconds of airtime so that way even if the the contact breaks at terminal tick velocity you would then slow down, hopefully before clipping into a wall or up the drop pod hole or god knows where else. Im assuming this is what is happening and im not sure if such a fix would be ideal but its an idea

Okay, any ground destroying weapons in any strata will spawn those ghost minerals if you shoot ground around minerals
They don't contribute towards any caps, they count as 0 minerals i assume, cause even with like 50 chunks i couldnt reach 1
im not sure what to think about it

the update has massive desync issues (or i'm getting very unlucky for this to happen in two separate missions so close to eachother), large amounts of terrain just doesn't update for me at all

this mission was a late-join for me, i remember before the update the terrain would eventually catch up

the other mission that had this problem was a sabotage that i joined, though i can't remember whether or not it was latejoin, in this mission the caretaker was partially embedded inside the rock and there were ledges and rock formations close to the platform that i would just fall straight through because they didn't exist to anyone but me

The issue I found is that accessing the pickaxe terminal as one class, previewing the pickaxes for a different class without switching to that class, and then copying and pasting pickaxe customizations to a different profile copies that profile for the previewed class and the active class.

I'm playing engineer right now and I went to look at my driller pickaxes without changing to driller. Copying and pasting my driller's A profile pick to all the other driller profiles seems to have also copied my engineer's A profile pick to all the other engineer profiles.

Was just playing, called in rock cracker and the metirorite de spawned after about 20 seconds of it being there. Still got the plague hears. Not sure why this happened, everything was pretty standard with where the metioritre landed. Rock crackers did not land or spawn if that is signficant in any way.

Howdy. I found a bug a while back and I’m not sure if it’s patched yet. It’s pretty minor overall but just annoying. For scout when using the grappling hook: when using speed boost on landing upgrade and the dash perk while the effect of the boost is still active the dash ability completely gets eaten up

Hello, I found a bug with the gunner that started with the new update. Any headgear that has the face visible now clears the top part of the armor, even if you have no beard or a short beard. This only happens with the gunner.

Here's the pictures. In #2 I'm wearing the Dark Future helmet, and the top plate is visible, covering the lower face. Normally, that armor plate would only go away if I had a big beard on. But as you can see in #1 and 3, it disappears even if I'm wearing a short beard or no beard.

I'm running the Steam version, and it only does this for the Gunner. All the other classes still only remove that upper plate on their armors if I equip a big beard.

i'm guessing the server stores a snapshot of the terrain every now and then, but latejoiners only get the snapshot and plain don't get the updates to terrain that were made between that snapshot and their connection

I unfortunately do not have a clip of this, but I launched a on site refining mission. On arrival there was a prospector, jet boots and a corrupter and after like 10 minutes of fighting regular enemies and the prospector, we realised that the Corrupter just disappeared without a trace. All of the ground that he had corrupted looked like it was cleansed, we checked every spot and there was nothing to be found :(

Updated to the new patch, no mods. After about 10 mins in a level my drillers wave cooker stops doing damage to bugs. It seems like maybe it could be lag but there's no lag anywhere else, my other weapons work just fine, and even the wide beam doesn't hit anything.

I don't really know how to report a bug in the discussion post section but this has happened multiple times when I do On-Site Refining missions. I will fill up the rocket and send it to orbit and Mission Control will be like "All objectives completed. Start the pumpjack when ready." even though I am sending the pumpjack to orbit.

Played Driller with the Cooker secondary and I think I encountered a Bug after picking up the Jetboots. THe Cooker was working fine until that mission. Shortly after picking up the boots, my Cooker bugged out. It dealt no damage anymore to Lootbugs, other bugs or even Teammates, I fired bout 250 shots wondering why I couldnt kill the lootbug on the ceiling xD

Since the season 4 update, my miner has new voice lines when I first load the game but they're in a different-sounding voice to the normal voice for each class. Change this so that my (for example) driller actually sounds like the driller voice when I first load into the space rig. Also, bring back the old starting voice lines if they've been removed. 1> start putting upgrades into Shard Diffractor
2> leave equipment menu
3> get back into equipment menu check Shard Diffractor and notice its upgrades are empty again.

This happens intermittently, and I could reproduce today on the Cryo Cannon too.

one specific player of us

  • have completely different missions on the map, i.e. his map is different (for example-in glacial strat he have salvage, egg hunt with swarmageddon and elimination. we have egg hunt with low gravity, elimination and aquarks)
  • do not see our assignments on the map

I have a gamebreaking bug.

I didn know what i do but, during a game, my wave cooker bugged and didn do any damage or overheat during all the game duration, i tried many things like dying, recharging, but nothing make it do damage again.

i was using this setup :

Running some tests during that game i spent a all the energy of the wavecooker on a friend, he didn take any damage too, and reported me that he, doesn see the animation of the weapon when i was shooting.

Just had a super weird bug where the game kept playing the sound from DLC09_-_Decontaminator_480p_Menu_Version (video for the newest DLC) the moment the game was fired up and then repeating indefinitely.
Problem persisted after several restarts of game & computer and even after said file was removed from the game files.
It seems to finally sort itself out after completely reinstalling the game.

I got a weird graphical bug with the Corrosive sludge pumps dlc skin, and I tried to report it on the bug report website but I got an error message and I was unable to send it. If you look where the little metal piece is under the nozzle that metal bar is supposed to connect to that thicker part. But it doesn't, and when you rotate it, to an angle where you could look inside the metal bit, its see through. I'm assuming thats intentional, since you weren't supposed to be able to do that. And while its not a big deal I thought I would report it regardless.

I think due to some change made the interaction between beards headgear and the armour model change is getting wonky, using scout as an example (it seems consistent across certain headgears)

Oddly enough now the born to drill helmet is working fine with this beard combo, so im unsure if its just an appearance thing or what, but it seems certain helmets are conflicting with that part of the armour, there are more than just the ones shown and they seem to be universal across dwarves

even with all beard parts on clean shave the full face gas mask removes the upper prt of the metal vest

I was in a point extract mission in Glacial Strata and we engaged the corruptor, broke its armor, and then went to go fight BET-C in another room. When we came back the corruptor was gone. Health bar still there, but the actual creature was gone from every room on the map

Recently playing drg has been entirely impossible
When I go to the server list, it stays stuck in the searching animation forever. When I try to close the game, it still claims to be running. Manually stopping it in steam makes it go stopping forever. Task manager doesn't work either. I've verified the files, reinstalled even. Nothing short of rebooting the pc fixes it

I keep encountering a minor but annoying bug - the UI options for the crosshair and the version number seem to be connected somehow? I'll disable the version number in the UI and that'll turn off my crosshair when I get into a mission. I then re-enable my crosshair manually, and then when I start the next mission, I'll have my crosshair, but then the version number will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen again.

i just copied one loadout for my gunner in the equipment terminal and it changed this loadoutspot for all four dwarfs. in the cosmetic terminal it was working fine. guess it shouldnt be this way. edit: i see its an known issue >>> pinned messages.

When I join a match with sleeves on they are present on the space rig, but when I go on a mission, no matter if I join during it or if we start after I joined, they get switched to no sleeves. I can see it on the cosmetics menu after I return to the space rig, they just switched and I have to change it manually, though it only lasts until a mission begins. I haven't checked how it looks on solo.

it's sucessfully shuffling my perks, equipment and cosmetics, but not the upgrades on my equipment. however, the beer works properly for my friend and he gets sucessfully shuffled upgrades.

Hey. Kind of an odd one and not really a bug? if this is in the wrong place I can remove it. I sometimes use twitch studio while I am playing. For some reason this is the only game when I am playing that my webcam will freeze on. I have to unplug it and plug it back in again but it will freeze again. I have tried looking most places but no one seems to know.

i've found that my loadouts just randomly garble
upgrades are deselected, the paintjob and framework is wrong and none of the other loadouts have the old loadout on it

I've just experienced a strange bug; during a Lithophage Meteor event Mission Control repeated the progress VOs several times. So you'd hear 50% or 75% or completion voicelines three times.

There's also been getting launched at high velocity (such as if someone placed a foam pad next to you) but that's apparently been fairly common.

Getting a permanent 99% rockpox infection status for duration of mission on steam. Visual icon and peripheral vision cover regular field of view with infection sound muffling other noises. Sound continues through mission complete screen until loading screen where it stops when entering the station.
During the mission, the bug makes the dwarf immune to infection quicktime event but is otherwise detrimental as they're basically blind and deaf to some degree. Might as well be drunk.

Go into your file explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Saved\SaveGames and find the most recent backup file that would likely have your progress. Rename it to Player.sav instead of Backup_#.sav and rename the current Player.sav to a Backup_#.sav if you want. Reload the game and your progress should be there

hi i would like to report a performance issue related to Lithophage Outbreak Warnings

I run my game for maximum FPS possible, cuz my PC is not the best and all my hardware is kinda old, i can run my game constantly at 40 to 60 FPS, but for some reason that seems to be random, my frame rate drops down to around 11 FPS, this only happens on Lithophage Outbreak warnings when I'm looking at the infection with the lithofoamer applied, but sometimes it happened to me without even the lithofoamer being deployed i'm looking in the internet and i don't see anyone having the same problem as me... so i'm here asking for help if someone knows what maybe causing this and perhaps if exist some way for me to fix it

my graphics card is a AMD Radeon HD 6570
my processor is a Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz
I have 8,00 GB RAM

So the corruptor just tends to dissapear...

I was on an escort mission and we left it to be until we got the heartstone, but somewhere during the mission it just dissapeared completely. Another time there was just random inert rockpox patches on a mission which I now assume was another corruptor that dissapeared.

I don't think this is intended but if so, I don't think it should be like this because of how other events don't just evaporate randomly

Ah i have another issue, i've heard that DX12 is better for performance however when i start the game with Dx12 enable this happens
i double checked and yeah my computer has Dx12 and yeah... I have Dx12 in my Pc... but the game just won't start and Idk why...
Performance is very important for my machine, and i would like to see with Dx12 the game will Run smother

I’ve been trying to play DRG for days, and about 3/4 of the time I get dced from public games I’m joining. It’s always at a random time, I updated every driver + checked that internet worked. It always says “lost connection to server”. No crashes involved. I tried the other launch options but I still have the reoccurring issue. Is this a known issue? Because I can’t play DRG without getting a major headache from being dced.
