First steps - steps with a high percentage of defects

So, I used the embroidery machine for the first time, and this is what I got. I thought that the top side is the front side, it turns out that the front side is the one under the bobbin? And the face turned out very solid, do not pay attention to the black threads (near the eye, mouth and eyebrows), my mistake in threading the top thread.

By the way, the embroidery stabilizer (not adhesive because I didn’t understand how to tear off the adhesive one) comes off just like that, can it be torn off or is it better to cut it off?

I was in a sewing shop and they told me to play with the thread tension. And that the bottom side is the inside. I also found out that the adhesive stabilizer is done with an iron. Once I check, I will write the results.

  • Seems like too much tension. Usually everyone has 4/4.5
  • I assume you’re using normal tearaway stabilizer. Yes, you just brutally tear it off (thats why it’s called like that), but remember to glue it to the fabric before embroidering with temporary fabric glue

Friends, I got it, I got it! Thread tension 1 iris 4.4, everything else 4.0. Everything came out relatively well except for the size, but I think this can be solved by scaling in the embroidery machine itself. 1 - immediately after embroidery 2 - after ironing with steam. I will also need to change the color of the jump threads so that I work less with sewing scissors (Thanks Frieren <3). I think I'll take off the top cover and look at the embroidery machine, my thread behaved strangely once, maybe trash has accumulated there.

I was already thinking about taking a break from creating fumo, I felt so bad from the constant problems with the embroidery machine, so I'll play with embroidery files some other time, right now I don't have the strength to make a lot of mistakes.

The problem I encountered was the thread tension. It was bad despite the settings, the problem was that the lower bobbin was almost out of thread and therefore it could not create the necessary tension for the machine. In the middle of the experiments, the thread on the bobbin ran out and I changed it to a full one, here is the result.

#

Please notice that it's the same tension 4.0

#

only at the end I changed the tension to 4.4, so there is almost no shine of the back thread
