Some designs can be done by simply using cut-out fabric, but for complex ones (see the pics in this thread), then how can I apply them to Fumo clothing?
And which equipment will I need (and are they readily available in DIY stores)?

For the last one you can do something like this. I think the last one is a top and the other half is a long skirt? A skirt or so can be made with something like this for the last one possible with the ruffles. You’d have to measure its waist n length ofc
I hope I made sense 😦
albinokoi gave a sample explanation in #1040764200034771066 for mimoji, maybe it gives you some inspiration for these chars?
for machine equipment, these might be useful to read through

Yes, but I heard somewhere a while ago I need something such as some sort of spray that is for industrial uses for applying complex patterns...
Is that true?
have you ever sewed before?
I highly highly highly recommend going through this pdf book if you haven't
Yes. I sew back in grade 5 thanks to watching YT tutorials by the channel "BudgetHobby".
there's iron-on 'stuff' you can use for more complex layers, the pdf goes over this around page 36
Fusible webs?
Are such things available in physical DIY stores?
if it's a fabric related store, probably? I can't say for all, but for like a hardware store I imagine they wouldn't have it
