So who has it worse, helldivers who are just meat for the meatgrinder, or odsts who have no hope of winning
I think they are both screwed but helldivers get more funny/unsafe toys

It blew up cuzz of the sloptubers freaking out cuzz like one dumbass spotted it in their discord. It's the same situation as people acting like the Mech corpses that have been on the planets since day one are new and the hulk corpses are a unique automaton we haven't seen yet. All of which is just sloptubers blowing stuff up for clicks.
Going all arc with the shotgun, grenade, backpack and stratagem weapon is shockingly fun

Looks like the fucked up offspring of an AK or AN and a Hellion bullpup
Gas port on that is a part of that front sight, charging handle above the ejection port, but bolt could be lower, to me its bad design cause why have the charging handle and the ejection port on the same side yet seperate. AK's have their ejection port as a part of that assembly in line with bolt, AR and most others have charging handles that connect just above the bolt (Similar to AR-15). Creative design off-child of those is my best guess
on the realism side, meh. On the creative side, it does look cool and durable. I'd throw down a few mags and give it a good run for its money.

This warbond was made in tandem with another team so my hope is that this isn't some trend where they start making guns with designs that are essentially just greebling. Flip and I were talking about it last night potentially being based on a prototype or some unpopular weapon since the majority of Helldivers' arsenals include weapons that are deeply unpopular IRL. I couldn't find a single instance of another rifle with that exact pattern for the charging handle, and the way the stock comes up all the way up to the rear sight reminded me quite a bit of the SCAR. But the stock itself is very weird cuzz in the full image of the gun the butt of the stock has this connector that calls all the way from the butt to the bottom of the pistol grip like a thumbhole grip big enough to fit your head through.
I'm pretty happy with some of the upcoming stuff.

Yeah i couldn't find an exact model, but i could see blends on charging handle/mag/ejection/gas port so it defiantly seems like an influence of those possibly more

I know the technical reason is that there's just a ton of duplicate files all throughout the game files, I guess so it can be accessed easier but there had to be a easier way

Welp, despite the series of Quickplay Insta-kicks, Quickplay Lobbies full, and the coupla crashes I at least got my Warbond Token and got to see a Hivelord.
For those wondering, Hive Lords and Dragon Roaches can spawn on Difficulty 7 at least.
@subtle mortar @serene ruin @unborn lantern FYI on hive worlds, since there are no Friendship door vaults, there are these little SEAF encampments that look like the remnants of a last stand that have the loot you'd sometimes find in the vaults. I found Super Credits next to a medal and requisition slips just sitting on the ground when I played for like 4 minutes with Sin. Lol keep an eye out for like any Point of interest.

There's prolly an argument about ergonomics and ammo but from what I've heard it's a laser beam.
I've heard some gripes about the Solo Silo. Longer cool down than eagle using 2 500kgs for the same blast radius and demo force.

Yes, Yes it is. So nothing stopping you from having one ready to shoot, and either be calling down extra for friends or just calling it down right after shooting one. Slightly different use case so i can still dig it

Solo Silo has something like a 3 minute cool down.
Er, I'm sorry, it's a 300 second cool down. Not 3 minute. Cuzz the 500KG is 2 every 240 seconds.

Thats servants of freedom. Both are pretty solid ive heard nothing but good things about the seeker grenades and the double edge sickle. I personally like the dust devils stuff more though.
I've heard DD is one of those warbonds that're mandatory to have

Its probably the best one for effective weapons and tools.
The eruptor and crossbow are both some of the best weapons, the grenade pistol opens up not needing grenades that can close bug holes and factories, and thermite can one shot most heavy armored units
But like if you see stuff you like in other warbonds just get that. None of them are mandatory i'd say

They have been bugged for a long time. They'resupposed to buy sometimes never do. I think every one of them has a trigger to clear the thingy, but some are weird. Plus some have Samples buried that you have to use the shovel to dig out which I also assume causes it but that's a more recent change.
This was a small city on the mapset and it would tell me that I found something despite nothing being there
That, or I would find something, pick up all of my samples and loot, and expect the symbol to roll over to its original diamond shape, as opposed to being a diamond (the sparkly mineral kind), only for it to not do that.
Points of interest on Suburban maps that are on the edges of the town walls are entrances and exits that occur during level generation; they're always like holdouts where the SEAF were before they died. Usually ammo and a support weapon or two. The ones inside the walls are where the samples and stuff are.
Ah, usually I'll always find one at the corners on the city where it's just a building with a carport on the outside of the wall, but it has a gem marked on top of it like it has loot
But when I loot all around the building, climb on top of the building, or blow up the building and try climbing around the rubble, I don't ever find anything

@subtle mortar I'm getting a little frustrated and at this rate I might start my own YouTube channel just to talk to these Helldivers "news" channels cuzz both of the main ones have misconstrued my point that the Dragonroach is a bad enemy design. They think I'm complaining about the visuals when my point is how its visuals don't play into its mechanics; IE wing destruction doesn't ground it, and bile sac destruction doesn't neuter its ability to breath fire. Or how its stinger is just kinda... There l, like the Dragonroach doesn't have a swoop attack which it very easily could.

I feel like I'm getting close. I had people backing me up in Cloud Plays' comments talking about how I wasn't griping with the visuals in that I hate how it looks but I hate how it looks plays nothing into its mechanics.
Yeah it's a good enemy on paper, but it's wings definitely need to have some sort of response to it being shredded
That and the spawn rates
Oh and how it can sometimes have a mid air seizure when hit
The spawn rates is the big one I know everyone hates, so I didn't bother to harp on it.
Cuzz Glitch Unlimited focuses too much on that detail when the enemy itself has a broader mechanical issue beyond just its spawn rates.
I love the enemy as a concept, I just hate the way it has been made. It sorely lacks the care and detail every other enemy has in the game in my opinion.
Cuzz the War Strider isn't exactly a fan favorite enemy unit, but at least if you biff a shot you can potentially take out its guns and grenade launchers. (I do think its armaments should be lower armor value to increase the reasoning behind destroying them rather than trying to take out the pelvis joints, also the Exhaust on the butt of the pelvis like all other automaton vehicles should have a lower armor value than the main body).
If you biff a shot on the Dragonroach right now you just end up spreading the damage out and make it take longer to kill and it still remains a fully ready to go threat. Even the leviathan loses combat effectiveness the more damage it takes.
Tho apparently a single eat can one shot It with a headshot

Tbh the only easy ways to kill them quick has been railcannon, expendable incendiary launcher, and the anti tank emplacement

The Dragonroach's design as an enemy is obviously rushed to me at this point.
And like, I enjoy melee as much as the next guy but I don't think I'm hitting it
Actually that's a lie I enjoy melee more than the next guy
- Despite it being an aerial unit like Shriekers, Gunships, or Dropships; It doesn't fall out of the air either dead or just grounded when its wings are shredded.
- Despite its design being based on the bile titan, destroying its bile sacs does not neuter its breath attack.
- Despite having a massive wasp-like stinger on its thorax it never uses it.
- Its fire breath attack has Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree syndrome and is roughly double the size of the actual visual.
- The damage of its attack starts before the attack does which makes it even more difficult to dodge.
- It's on a spawn timer and knows where you are at all times, meaning you cannot stealth a mission with Dragonroaches in it. As an aside, the devs cannot use the excuse that the Dragonroach is like a Leviathan or Hivelord where you "don't have to fight them" as the Dragonroach will hover right over your head or strafing run you while you try to get away.
TL;DR Dragonroach looks cool, but mechanically is the worst enemy design in the whole game.
They should just make it so it's slower as it gets more wings shredded, that way it's not all or nothing for it's wings

And yeah the shadow range of it's breath is extremely noticable when you try to use a warp pack to dodge

It needs to die, or get grounded. Getting "slowed down" would be the laziest fuckin' cop out from a dev team that prides themselves and their game on the minute details. And a flying enemy dieing or being grounded from shredded wings isn't even a minute detail.

So like slowed as wings get damaged, then grounded or crashed when it's fully shredded enough
Look, all I'm saying is; this new Strategic Oppurtunity being misconstrued for new stratagems shows what the Helldivers 2 community wants and it's honestly kind of baffling the devs have seemingly moved completely away from the base game progression system. There hasn't been new Ship Modules in over a year. There hasn't been a new offensive stratagem since September last year.
I have to assume the formula assumes 1 shot:[0 or 1] hit for determining accuracy. So, like, killing three guys with an arc weapon is gonna push it over 100 because that’s what it looks like in the game’s eyes 
It’d be a) not in character for Arrowhead to fix that and b) likely be hard to even rectify

It works kinda like that way in Darktide. There's a challenge to finish a mission with no ammo but 90% accurasucy. The shotguns kinda cheat cuzz they have punch through and only a single pellet has to hit for it to count for accuracy.
That being said, as someone who uses shotguns in Helldivers, I know that shotguns probably don't work that way cuzz my accuracy is always kinda middle range even if I hit everything consistently.
Helldivers 2 developers are so focused on the grunt fantasy that fun isn't even an afterthought

Some people are really not happy with all the bot preformance issues
For me it just gives me another excuse to be a bugdiver 
I dunno, I like being able to play the game wherever and not have to debate whether or not my PC can handle following the Major Order around.
The file size is def starting to take its toll on my loading times tho
as someone with a decently beefy computer setup, its not your pc. It just has issues that are causing performance issues regardless of hardware
I'm aware. It's a broad issue, that apparently seems to not affect play station players as much.
Yeah, I dunno, I was talking to Flip about it the other day and it's like... They need to focus on the core issues with the game before new content but we're not sure how much Sony/PlayStation is actually kneecapping their ability to do that.
It's not unrealistic for there to be different versions of a game
There's plenty of games where the console port is fundamentally different than the PC port
Or at least with different specific patches for the respective ports

Understandable, however I'm not saying to switch up the content, I'm saying more so that patches can be different for each platform

Who cares if you land on high ground and have to fall to your death to get down
I think the "problem" is you don't if you have any of the lift packs. But honestly that level of planning should be rewarded not punished. Plus being able to achieve safe high ground would let long range players have some sort of ground to stand on to actually do long range stuff. Additionally it could give them reason to include enemies that are equally long range too. IE the invisible illuminate snipers from Helldivers 1.
I think if you land on high ground without a lift pack that's just the helldiver's life expectancy special

I have no clue how you're supposed to do any of the heavy infestation mapsets on Illuminate planets solo
You can't: bring turrets because they'll get swarmed by squids and broken by the giant fleshmobs, rely on your orbitals because they're way too slow to take out the outpost ships by yourself without having to wait around and get swarmed (plus the buildings surrounding them seem to block half the shots so they're much less effective, shoot the squid swarms because there's way too many so you (more often than not) are out of ammo...
Only solution to this I see is maybe bringing arc weapons that don't rely on ammo but they don't seem to be effective against the full on squid troops so I'm at an impasse
Resupply's are great but you run out of ammo so often that I just end up camping them
Gonna try the guard dog and maybe the flamethrower, see if thatll work out
Guard Dog might be the go-to for crowd control but I still don't see what's so good about the Flamethrower
It does fairly decent against the fleshmobs but the squids kinda just walk through the flames about half the time

Yeah you douse large targets due to surface area
But against a crowd of like voteless you spray the ground while retreating
The fire on the ground persist for like 10 seconds and anything walking through it catches fire
Even still, I find they just waltz through the flames right up to me and they just end up setting me on fire
Also the SEAF troops don't have a survival instinct so they also walk through the fire which causes me to lose req. which I also don't appreciate
I really do not like how Illuminate spawn near you in reinforcement waves even without calling reinforcements.
Also Fleshmobs and Overseers have too much HP.
I mean, a Fleshmob can tank all the rockets from a Commando and end up unscathed, I feel that's ridiculous
Also had a difficulty 4 map where they spawned 4 Fleshmobs on me in an alleyway
I literally could not deal with them lol
Fleshmob has 6000 HP while a Bile Titan with reasonable weak spots has 6500
So yeah it’s ridiculous
And they spawn from level 1
I believe flesh mobs don’t really have any weak spots
It’s just kind of a DPS check
The only semi-weak spot I can figure out on them is the glowing blue eyes
You can shoot a hole through the top cluster of eyes and the bottom cluster of eyes
After that they kinda fall over but I can only reasonable do that with something that has a lot of firepower
I've done it with the Lib Pen and like 3 or 4 mags
Fire kinda melts them but it makes them charge a lot, so you do have to keep running from them which is an issue
Cuz you have a faster-than-you big ass meatball on your tail for as long as you can run

I just learned the trick to farming super creds where you run a level with a lot of super cred drops then close the game without extracting

Helldivers 2 isn't Warframe where you can make two identical weapons that the key differences is when you aqcuire them and one might be Status Chance based and another Crit Chance based or all elemental damage or mixed elemental physical damage or all physical damage...
Helldivers 2 is a game where if you make a gun that shoots explosive bullets, if one of them shoots better explosive bullets then it is just the superior weapon.
Also I farmed out my super creds and got Democratic Demo, I'm prolly gonna go for whichever one has the Warp Pack next

The dominator also has an arming distance for its rounds for the gyro jets to activate which means its rounds accelerate weirdly and its ergonomics I think are close to as bad as the Eruptor's but the Eruptor has the audacity to be nearly hit scan with its bullet velocity and low drag meaning the bullets maintain efficacy longer.

Cuzz there was an immense amount of outcry about it currently being the only Assault Rifle that feels genuinely useful. Shams Jorjani themself said they aren't gonna nerf it after poking fun at the Reddit community saying: "We're not having TOO MUCH fun are we?" in regards to it; later clarifying they aren't going to nerf it but they were looking for feedback. Which any meaningful feedback about the Coyote is likely going to be used to improve other ARs, but we can only really hope since their big patch they're doing in October is principally about bug fixing and enemy improvements/tweaks. Supposedly.
It's not bad, and it was popular but it was largely entirely meme'd out of the horse race when they dropped The Eruptor. Which as I've said since it came out: The Eruptor was a mistake. They should have never made a gun that strong as a Primary, but tragically the toothpaste is out of the tube now and you can't exactly put it back without pissing off a not so small annoying group of players.
Said group of players already tweaked the fuck out when the devs fixed the infinite damage bug on the Eruptor.
They still call the shrapnel mechanic fix a nerf. Which annoys the fuck out of me.
The bug I'm ready for them to fix is invisible landmines on bot planets lol

I've never actually seen that bug, and that's saying something cuzz I shoot every landmine I see so other people don't step on them in the off chance they're forced to retreat through that area.

I really think they should have dropped the Bot-Smasher and Bug-Stomper Liberators that are in the files (data-miners found them, likely cut content) as the first time rewards for those.

Ironically the colors don't mean anything beyond showing separation of the individually targetable pieces of enemy units.

Counterpoint. Look at the armor values on the Hulk and compare them to the War Strider; then factor in the fact that War Striders in most seeds replace Hulks 1 to 1. The War Strider's total health and threat level is well above a Hulk's. Additionally, the War Strider is a disgusting departure from Automaton design philosphy which is rewarding accurate shots on repeating patterns. The glowy red lights on a War Strider mean nothing but are the weak spots on everything from Troopers to Factory Striders.
It's also kind of absurd that The War Strider does not have a leg damaged state but the Hulk does.

No, that's what Vya is talking about, and said Bellcranks are the issue cuzz those aren't realistic to hit from any distance greater than 20 meters. To make matters worse they're still fuckin' Armor 4 which means you need anti-tank unlike Hulks which can be defeated with clever stratagem/weapon use. Not just "Bring RR and Thermite to every mission!" Cuzz that's fuckin' bad when 1 enemy unit defines an ENTIRE FACTIONS STRATAGEM META.

Again, let me reiterate, the issue with the War Strider is hardly it's combat mechanics or design, but it's Health and Armor mechanics depart from every known lesson the Automatons mechanics teach you. They literally made War Striders harder to beat hulks because of Glazedivers who have put down the Eruptor, Recoilless Rifle, and Thermite since they picked them up.

I don't know why this isn't baked into the mechanics of Fleshmobs. They should enter a bleedout state when a head is destroyed and for each additional destroyed it should snowball. With as many Fleshmobs as the game spawns it's not super engaging to spend half of a fire fight trying to cut down one or two Fleshmobs when the real threats are supposed to be the Harvesters and Overseers.

I love the epoch though it does quite a bit of damage with a ton of ammo and no backpack, can kill alot of heavy/tank armored guys without a resupply. But it does have every single downside a support weapon could have
Epoch has become my go to support weapon tbh. Its amazing as long as you can get the hang of the timing of the shooting. I don't usually kill myself at all in missions with it but it sometimes happens
Honestly it's all arbitrary. Like, even ignoring the devs: "well, plasma in our setting doesn't have mass" neither do photons, motherfucker, but the Quasar still has demo-force and at what point is demo-force distinguishable separate from damage in a way that makes sense. I refuse to believe something that counts as HEAT can't for some reason break a couple of fuckin' rocks to collapse a bug hole or blow a hole in the wall of a factory to destroy it. The worst sin is how the Epoch can destroy Warp Ships when they're flying but not when they land.

Okay, so what I found out is that the Airburst Rocket Launcher is insanely good at taking out Fleshmobs
However, you kinda need to get the drop on the beforehand otherwise they'll just kinda charge you and then you can't shoot them without blowing yourself up
Also kinda hard to control if they're in an alleyway.
But I took out two Fleshmobs in a patrol with a bunch of heavy Voteless
Other than that I haven't seen a better use for it...
Airbursts are unparalleled in killing your whole team if thats a niche you need filled

The speed would cause the Hellpod to not embed in the ground and it would be so unbelievably funny if that was like an easter egg where it just fuckin' rolls around and your helldiver has to crawl out when it stops rolling.

Cuzz the Redacted Regiment warbond is finished like all of its content is in the game and good to go already but they haven't released it.

I mean, I would agree with this if their attempts at fixing performance weren't bubble gum patches for actual game breaking bugs they should have worked on over 4 months ago. The Automaton front was unplayable for most people for 4 months because of the crashing to desktop bugs caused by audio. I'm not saying they're fabricating issues for the sake of buying time but Pilestedt admitted to the fact that they are aware of the "We're so back, and it's so over" memes that I would be surprised if they're leaning into it.
As for Overworking, I'm pretty sure they already are. Then again, with the state of the game compounded with staff head count tripling I don't know how they'd even be at Rick of overworking.
mhm mhm. They were definately riding that success high for so long I wouldn't be surprised they realized late they needed to pause content for the sake of stability. But I still take it to heart that this game engine is fucking them more than any other company normally would have in terms of their tech debt. I respect them for keeping the "older" console generation in mind for these updates, even if eventually they'll have to bite that bullet in the future.
But yes, their QA needs a little more love as well. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

Back to the Warbond stuff, the Helldivers getting their own unique kind of chainsaw melee weapon tells me we likely won't be getting Warhammer or Gears of War crossovers.

Nah, it's cool, but it's that reason that perplexes me so bad. If they were planning to only launch it on PlayStation then expanded back to PC or were planning a PC and PlayStation launch from the start it doesn't make sense why the game was built to run on SSD and then they retrofitted it for HDD for a growingly niche sub-community especially with the advent of Xbox Divers and expanded prevalence of SSD being essentially a modern demand for gaming.
Yes. It fires its own bespoke High Explosive Grenades (which is kinda non-informative on the grenade cuzz all enemy grenades are considered "High Explosive" or "HE", but enemy HE have different stats from each other and both have different stats than the Helldivers HE grenade).
I wonder if it really is an assault rifle/grenade launcher combo, how would it be able to fire two differing ammo types on the same weapon.
I understand there's the "select-fire" thing like the airburst having Flak and Cluster, but those share an ammo pool. I wonder if this would be the same case for an underbarrel launcher that differs from the default rounds of an assault rifle

Hm... I would imagine it would be? They said the Minigun required technology in the games mechanics they didn't have and that's why we didn't have one sooner. So what that tells me is that the Chainsaw and Rifle with a Grenade Launcher underbarrel is them pushing their tech.
I wish, but Grenades you shoot are constructed differently from grenades you throw. Grenades you shoot are more like a bullet than the ones you carry to throw around yourself. They also describe the grenades as specifically high explosive (which if they are, the good news is that Helldiver HE grenades are AP 3), but the grenades for the gun themselves are likely bespoke. The downside is that theory makes sense cuzz it will allow them to release future rifle or weapons that have an under barrel grenade launcher that shoot different grenades.
All this being said, this warbond is very clearly a continuation of Viper Commandos (Pythons being another type of Snake) so it's good to know at least they aren't worried about revisiting concepts.
Or other underbarrel attachments aside from grip, flashlight, or laser
I would hope that they're doing this specifically because the attachment tech is very limited, but I know it's more likely so they can sell us a Pacifier down the line with Stun Grenades, or a Coyote with a Napalm Grenade Launcher.
Which is sad, however, up until this point we've had nothing exactly like this. The Halt shotgun has two separate ammo pulls and only pulls from one depending on which fire mode you're in, this gun shows that they're developing Combination Weapon technology at least which might mean we can see some Warhammer 40k style of silly stuff like a Rifle with an Underbarrel Plasma pistol or something of that nature.
Is this like... a teaser for the next update or

Patch looks pretty unremarkable balance wise. Nothing stated that radically changes anything, gun buffs I don't think will make a noticeable difference; they're like For Honor changes where they're essentially tweaking them to where they'll take one less bullet to kill some things cuzz these values are really shallow when a Warrior's (for example) main body has 325 HP, the SMG-37 damage tweak will make it take one less bullet to kill.
Example:
Old value: 325 - 100 = 225 | 225 - 100 = 125 | 125 - 100 = 25 | 25 - 100 = DEAD BUG (Takes 4 bullets in effective range to kill.)
New Value: 325 - 110 = 215 | 215 - 110 = 105 | 105 - 110 = DEAD BUG (Takes 3 bullets in effective range to kill.)
These are buffs, but I don't think the average player will notice (nor will a veteran in deep combat really notice either) and tragically they still haven't reverted the ergonomics penalties that SMGs and Pistols get when you first pull them out and when you stop sprinting that causes them to sway like crazy when you ADS for a few seconds like they're a long rifle (Assault Rifles and Shotguns do not have this penalty, but DMRs and weapons like the Railgun and AMR have increased sway penalties after equipping or ending sprint). My worry is that they forgot.
Oh shit. The new beta branch for the game reduces the game files from 154 gigs to just under 24 gigs.

Ya, to my understanding there was a bullheaded devotion to customers with "lower end hardware" such as older HDDs among the devs (or by corporate mandate, likely) The duplication makes it easier for those machines to fetch the game assets they need at any given time and decreases load times...
Load times. That was literally it. Something that 80%+ of players don't care about because we live in the space year 2025 and SSDs are commonplace
The excuse barely makes sense even though it was one they made themselves, given the game is broken in whichever way with or without loadtimes and takes up so much space.
Though I'm not as tuned into the community happenings as some others are so take what I say with a grain of salt
Actually insane justification
It might have been their (Arrowhead's) own insistence cuzz they partnered with Sony and the game was originally going to be a PS5 exclusive which is an SSD console. They expanded to PC with permission from Sony during development which is likely when they decided to build an HDD build of the game; they estimated only 12% if the PC playerbase were actually playing on an HDD still, so they rebuilt on PC for an incredibly niche group.
I decided on getting Dust Devils cuz I really remember enjoying the Speargun
The spear gun is peak. Combined with the incendiary grenades it does so much damage
Newest AR is light armor pen but it does have a grenade launcher to get around the medium armor rating, so
Through their own studies they found that 11% of thr player base plays the game with HHD. And should they implement this change, which is what they have planned for the year. It'll at worse increase the load times for those hhd people by about 5 seconds.

Y'know, it's fascinating. It kinda reveals Destiny 2's problem without directly calling it out. Explains why D2's file size kept going up and up. They were trying to maintain support for HDD players; prolly more specifically old console players.
I mean you could see what warfare did in their dealings with file size as well for another angle if you'd like. They had to pick and choose what they can pick to stay vs to get rid off.

Its pretty tanky. It does take quite a lot of hits and the updated enemies do try and focus down the vehicles. Luckily the tank has a HMG as a side weapon apart from the main cannon.
My main take away from reading the wiki page is that why does it have 3 armor hardness
The tank doesn't have a 360 aim unfortunately, it can only hit stuff in a small cone in front of it; which is a massive downside if you're surrounded ig but... just don't do that lol

I think it's because enemy weapons only go up to AP3
Helldivers are AV0, and the only other things are Exos and FRVs are a mix of AV1 and AV2, and SEAF soldiers have AV1 chest pieces but the rest of their body is AV 0.
The tank is the first thing with AV3
We don't actually know what enemy weapons AP classes are, because there's no Enemy Compendium in the game.
But Armor Values are currently all over the fuckin' place right now; because there are 11 Armor Values, starting at 0 and going to "10". AV 10 is only used on the Hive Lord right now. Then, beyond that the only other AVs that matter is up to 5? I think? Cuzz I don't think anything exceeds 5.
Theres the illuminate overship but you usually tank them down with a conveniently placed cannon objective

Man, I dunno what the fuck Arrowhead is doing on the backend. I only managed to finished 1 mission out of 5 because of lobby connectivity issues. I'd get halfway through a mission and then connection to the host would drop and I'd have no progress to show for it.
Like the game is finally starting to feel like it is getting good variance in gameplay because of the two latest warbonds, but once people start sliding around and then you desync and it takes the game 2 minutes before it drops you back into your Super Destroyer feels shitty.

It doesn't seem anyone knows, that being said it does seem to be a server issue, because when I first join lobbies everything is smooth as butter and then it will just randomly desync super hard at seemingly random and then send me back to my Super Destroyer. I'm also worried, since it's on the Automaton Front for the MO, if there is a major bug with the Automatons again causing issues. Cuzz back before the big balance pass they did there was an Automaton Audio bug that would cause the game to severely hang and then eventually crash.
Just ask Flip. It drove him more mad than it did me, and it pissed me of.
Like I'm not trying to bash HD2 after a huge update and big things going on in the GW but I can't enjoy the game if everytime I get into it fuckin' DCs me and nixes all my progress.
It feels like helldivers 2 is always on the verge of falling apart. Every big update seems to make it hard to play.
Believe it or not, HD2, Vermintide, Vermintide 2, and Darktide all run on the same engine.
Which kind of explains a lot in and of itself. But AH does not do enough stability stress testing when they play test their game if they do it at all.
Stress testing? To Arrowhead that's when it's released and people play it

One-shots bile titans, chargers, bulks, and sooome bot tanks
I had one match where me and and one other dude were beating up a factory strider with the boom hammer
Hover pack + boom hammer is fun
not optimal but it's pretty fun
Laser shotgun, from what I've seen, is pretty good at clearing light infantry, especially flying ones
thats all i really need from a laser primary, there are enough sidearms for mediums including the laser revolver

The Trident (laser shotgun) is a weapon from HD1
I've seen Boom Hammer strat being used with Warp Pack for essentially High Priority Target assassination.
I want the C4 pack so I can run the new Shield grenade but I'm pretty sure C4 back pack's trigger takes your support weapon slot so it's singular function seems unintentionally restricted because of how the game works. I was hoping you could run it and support strats with lower AP but it's honestly kinda a non-starter for me like the Solo Silo in that regard.
I tanked an indirect 500kg while inside two shield bubbles
Granted, doesn't protect you from the knockback, only the first hit of damage
C4 looks fun too, though I fail to see it's practical use outside of making a hellbomb out of a car or laying a mine/minefield you can remote detonate
The shield break on a personal shield generator, shield generator defense strat, and the weird arm shield one protects you from the blast of 500kg so you prolly only needed one unless they arbitrarily changed for the grenade.
Def won't survive a direct hit from a 500kg, that's for sure; even still, I might've been able to make it out with one.
The personal ballistic shield (one-handed arm shield) is something I've come to love on 10's especially when there's Incineration Corps around. That thing blocks fire unlike the bubble shield stuff.
Then again, I also usually run grenade launcher for bots with EAT whenever I need it, especially with Incineration Corps.
I cannot stand the absolute fuckery that is the infinite health on bot shields.
No, I'm saying, when a typical energy shield breaks in Helldivers whatever broke the shield's effect is completely negated, usually 500kgs damage "last hits" the Energy Shield's health (not the device emitting the shield but the shield itself) and if that attack that broke the shield is an explosion anything inside the shield is unaffected by said explosion.
I mean yea, I get that much, as long as the explosions outside of the bubble.
Well, my point was speculating that, in theory of the shield grenade is anything like the Personal Shield Generator Pack then it should only take one to not die to an indirect 500kg (IE just the explosion).

Kinda interesting to see multiple Sub-Factions on a planet and kinda hope Jet Brigade and Incineration Corps can be active at the same time in a mission.
The Cyborg Legion's theme supposedly leaked and I'm listening to it now. It goes kinda hard but grain of salt if it's real or not. It seems like the devs aren't intending to use the Choir version of the Automaton theme.
There is a part of the theme arrangement that makes me hope the Siege Mech is in this update.
Saw some more leaks. It's not the Siege Mech, it's a new unit with about the same strength/threat as a Factory Strider. It doesn't clear a sub-objective when killed like the Hive Lord does.

Just an FYI but the BFGL does less total damage and less durable damage than the regular GL at the same Armor Penetration level.

People are speculating it was supposed to have shrapnel, cuzz it's only benefits are those two things. Cuzz the biggest issue is the instant loss of utility given that you have to occupy your support slot and backpack for it, and it has less range than similar backpack + gun combo support weapons (Recoilless, Auto Cannon, WASP) and compared to its little brother which can be paired with a Jump Pack, or Warp Pack to take out enemy bases or hordes of melee units from high ground... It's weird to say the least. OhDough also pointed out that its AOE damage is so low that it doesn't even kill the Terminid Warriors that are in the demo video it plays when you look at the Stratagem in the Acquisitions menu.
That makes a lotta sence. But yeah, since I don't have it, I can't really test it. I got enough creds to finally get the warp pack so I can grind out more creds for future content.

I'm assuming they're either about to drop something or they're waiting to flip a switch to enable us to start damaging it. I dunno, kinda scuffed cuzz we're losing Reserves. Estimated 46 hours left.

The game I think is still calculating liberation rate as people complete missions. Since I took the screen cap it's already risen another .015%

On the first day we get to Transcendence too, I swear to god.
Yeah they didn't really do this right IMO. The discord is kinda blowing up with people crashing out because: for one the reinforcement count galaxy wide so people dying on planets not related to the MO still count and people are also mad about all the bugs on Cyberstan making it very difficult to stay alive.
They're also mad that razing Cyberstan with the DSS is not going to count as Liberation.
I think not being able to steer your hellpod over small but manageable fortifications really added to the anger
I absolutely get not being able to steer it into the megabuildings or just big structures in general but I cant steer around the walls around the buildings or the foundations of the buildings at all so I find, more often than not, someone will call me in and I'm stuck where I spawn with the hellpod which is, more often than not, surrounded by bots in a huge firefight.
