but yeah, actually refining your workers to just have specific work capability is the way to go anyway from my experience. expecially since throwing something at a station locks them to said station, and many jobs can do multiple things
like fire being able to cook and smelt, and water being able to water and grind things
and if you threw them at one of those stations, they wont touch the other one
and like, throwing a seed planter at a plot will make them use ONLY that plot, and not touch others if you have them

The eggs have a flat incubation time which seems to be set to 18 hours for large eggs and 3 hours for regular eggs.
I am sure it is a balancing setting for the server but it seems a little extreme and will only make breeding way more trouble than it already is considering how hard it is to get honey.
It is likely to actually take much longer than that because the eggs get cold at night and incubate at half speed. And I am not sure how to regulate them since sure you can build a fire but if you don't break it by dalight the egg will be warm and incubate at half speed.
Has to be a better way, but I do not know what that is.

Just checked my 18 hour eggs and they are only almost ready to hatch. Also all of my pals got depressed, stopped working, and starved to death. So probably best to just box them when signing out.
I don't know if you can swoop in and hatch someone else's eggs but do not. I will cry. As soon as I hatch them I will move the other two incubators behind my door which can be locked.
Ideally large eggs would take fewer than 18 hours to hatch. I do not want to have 30 incubators but with the massive hatch time I feel I have to. Since I cannot stop picking up eggs. I see an egg, and I grab it. And with a new egg spawning ever 15 minutes I have too many eggs.

You can get five ancient tech points and a ton of ancient parts from taking out the Rayne Syndicate Tower but I am not ready for that yet and I already have a gun.
You don't get tech points from dungeons. But you do get ancient parts and even accessories that boost stats.

If you have pals with Ranching abilities that produce food (Or watering, harvesting, and growing) & Transport, they'll automatically carry food to the feed box, so it's a matter of making sure you produce enough to feed them

You (And anyone else struggling with sanity) would be interested in finding a Pal by the name of Woolipop! They're a ranch pal that produce a food that gives 5 sanity per piece consumed. The only negative to having them is they're kinda bad when it comes to nutrition, also only giving 5.

I had two berry farms and a wheat field, if anything I was producing too much food as I was trying to make pancakes to keep my Pals' sanity high. At some point while I was away the automation chain just broke. Something or some several things stopped working completely and everyone starved.
I have been meaning to build a second hot spring for a while but the trees in my base keep breaking pathing so it was probably that.

Once you get to the lvl 20 ish enemies, you can't even throw basic Spheres at them. It's shows a 0.01% catchrate.

Build a wood or stone pallasade, basically a ring of stone/wood structures around your base. Founation and 2 walls.
And be sure to put a strong pal or two in the base

I have to say the bug where you can drag your wearables to some metal armor (or higher tier if you are later in the game) to wear it in every slot giving you hundreds of armor and health is really nice. I am loving not being one shot by everything.

So you have to have the armor you want to equip in your inventory and the normal item equiped in the slot. Then drag the normal equiped item to the armor and it will swap them as if it was meant for that slot, it does not work the other way.

It's actually a really good spot
Build a platform on the little hill at the center and then put the palbox and a storage container
Its equidistant from all the Nodes
And then you can put platforms on the cliff edge and use roof tiles to go about 2 tiles out
