Important keybindings and commands you should know:
-Press 'N' to show the minimap
-Press 'M' to open the full map and place waypoints
-Hold '~' and left click to excavate (destroys a bunch of blocks at once
-Type '/openpac-claims claim' to claim a chunk (currently max 500, might reduce if necessary)
-Type '/openpac-parties' to invite players into your party
-Type '/opm' to send a chat message only to party members
-Type '/sethome' to set a home teleport point for yourself

Collaboration is encouraged. Faction warfare can be arranged but it will need to be enabled through admin commands.

hold ~ when mining and you will mine a large chunk of all same type material that is connected to it, also sometimes called vein miner. this will take tool durability and hunger as if you mined each block individually, also be careful using it on structures you're building

#

if it a material that can be mined without a tool, like wood or dirt, I recommend not holding a tool in your hand when you do it

#

but if its iron or coal you'll need a pickaxe

sad news guys, the lightspeed drill isn't able to keep up with it's own collection system. The maglev drill out paces it by quite a bit. This means lightspeed will be purely transport.

@everyone tomorrow rust is having an update that will add automation. I am planning to host a public rust server that you are all welcome to join. I have enough ram to run the minecraft server at the same time but I will need to reduce the player slots and there may be some cpu bottleneck at peak hours. would you guys prefer that I do that or should I shut the minecraft server down and share the map files with those who want to keep playing?

Pvp would extend the life of the server ya know, having a reason to advance so far in the first place. That's why I've started making my own modpack, it's gonna be called Steam Boys. I'm drawing inspiration from B Double O's "Fly Boys" videos.

I've been putting together my technic modpack based on my 1.7.10 city building and this past server with create

and by that I mean I found a modpack that has most of what I want and I drop extra .jars into it lol

started off with createcore on technic, then added chisels & bits, worldedit, and I'm gonna see if 1.16 chisel will work on 1.18

#

iirc 1.16 and 1.18 are both post-flattening so there shouldn't be any conflicts, chisel just won't have new block variety
