Rigging the facial expressions atm and I'm having issues with the eyeball layers showing on the face symbol when it blinks. Ideally I'd clip the symbol to the face and then reverse clip it to the iris but that's not really possible.

do you perhaps have the lower lid inverse clipped to the marking?

and the sclera only covers the area shown in the video or does it extend further below the lower lid?

Definitely check that the iris details arent clipped to the tattoo

none of the iris details are clipped there, and yes, the sclera only covers what is shown

Can you select the iris and show what is clipped?

Based on how this looks, its either a hole or things are clipped to each other.

so turns out the iris wasn't actually clipped to the sclera and i'm big stupid

i just assumed it was cause it wasn't moving out of the sclera visually
