it ran out of memory
what's your project file size?
are you using PSD from Procreate app?
also how many texture atlas you uses, and what resolution
also tell us your PC spec (RAM size, GPU, etc)
from clip studio
many
because the model ahs so many extra stuff
i use the 8k/8k and even when all filled (manually) its like 7 of them i think
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core
Motherboard: A520M-A PRO
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 Super
if i would make them smaller i would have to have at least 14 of them QwQ
might be able to somehow remake it into 6 of them but
yeah your 16 GB RAM cannot handle that much 8K atlas
thats poopy omg what should i do in that case? cuz if i will make them smaller there will be SO many
try cutting down the extra stuff, save it into a new file
and see if you can export
also what's the PSD canvas resolution?
so like there is 1 extra hairstyle and then also bot hairstyles have green version of it so like 4 hairstyles all together, should i cut 3 out?
with that almost 10K pixel canvas i would say you can try optimizing your atlas size
keep it under 2 8K atlas or 4 4K atlas
scale each object down to 50% - 70% in the atlas
with that resolution the loss in quality is indiscernible
also make better use of space, dont leave too many empty space in the atlas
you may need to layout this manually, auto stuff is not that good
dang with all the hairs its impossible
alright i see, thought they always must be 100%
yea i usually spend hours on atlas to try make no gaps so i have minimal amount of atlases
even with that it was not able to be lower than 7 8k atlases QwQ
indeed soemtimes it make no sense
theyre not always have to be 100%
rigging your extra hair in whole separate model is also an option
i see oki that could help reducing it a bit
you mean as having the hair as "model" and just add it on the model in vts? might be a bit complicated for the client tho
i mean create a separate variant of the model with each new hair
your client most likely wont toggle their hair often
hmm tried to get rid of all the green hair layers, reduced to 4 8k atlases, but getting some huge out of memory error still QwQ
also scaled them down to 80
seems like its not enough uh
yea i think with a 16GB RAM you can only good with 2 atlas max with 8K
even 2 8K atlas is already too much for a model imo
usually i would recommend doing 4K instead
this is the point where you probably should consider reducing the object count
see if you can merge some layers down
i think at this poit getting better rams is better option
since the model is big as it is and potencially only gets bigger if more things added later
but thank you so much for the help at leats i know whats the cause
ngl i think its better if you are going with less early on, i mean more RAM is good but also theres also certain limit in Live2D models that adding more and more will end up with lags, or Live2D will refuse to export entirely no matter how much RAM you use
seven 8K atlas is already pushing it too much, i wouldnt try to add more pieces at that point
i recently helped someone whose model has like 4 outfits and bunch of toggles in one model, it was miserable to use either for the vtuber and the rigger
