#Pixel Art2D Model - Suggestions?

I'm noticing when the eyes are closed there's a little black line so you might need to do some mask checks in vts if that's what you are using, but otherwise it gives off sprite
oh yeah its a super thin line, i think i made the eyelids and the pupil masking almost the same exact size
thank you!
added some of the fixes and a little more physics, hopefully it doesn't feel too "movementy" and lose the sprite feel?
This model is so cute and reads great! I think you could have a more exaggerated Idle Animation to really sell Sprite, But I can also give many reasons why you wouldn't want to do that. One of them being that if the animation is too fast, it may be disorienting for viewers watching if you are just using the model as a normal Vtuber model.
Thank you! Yeah that's what I was torn on! Even now I'm still torn on if the hair in the back is too movementy when it's a several-frame animation? It's hard to find a good midpoint between "spritey" and "too spritey" if I'm making any sense at all lmao
How many frames did you do for your animation?
Also if you feel like it is moving too much, Adjust the frames of the animation to be more uneven leaving larger space for frames towards the center and less timing for frames on the edge of the parameter
the front hair is 3 frames but the back hair is 5, I may slow the back hair down just to not feel too smooth compared to everything else
Yeah my reccomendation would be to Adjust the spacing of the frames, then Go into Physics to help make it match the animation speed you want to achieve better. I Think 3 and 5 are the ideal numbers for Frame animated elements on models like this so it will really come down to the timing of your animation
