Cannot Save or Export File or Make New Folder

Hello, I'm running into an issue where I cannot save my files or create a folder while saving, and my files do not appear after exporting.

More info:

1. L2D 5.2, free version (not pro trial) on Win10,
2. Running with admin permission doesn't help
3. I can access and save backup files from the backup folder
4. I can only save files on desktop using name from the backup files.
5. Exporting doesn't show error, but the files also never show up
6. L2D was working just fine a few weeks ago, I'm genuinely not sure what went wrong 😭

That is pretty weird. 5.2.02? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

I'm on 5.2.01, will try to reinstall, but if that doesn't work I'll try upgrading to 5.2.02 and see if it helps

tried to reinstall, didn't work. upgrading to 5.2.02 still returns the same error too..... 😭
for good measure, I tried saving and exporting a different file (that i know worked when i made it about 2 weeks ago) but it's also returning this error.....

The fact that you cant save other than desktop makes me think that its a permission problem. Which should have been resolved with reinstallation. Do you have an active firewall?

I do, tried turning it off but unfortunately it made no difference... 😔

Have you retried running as admin and saving after reinstalling?

I did try running as admin after reintalling, but seems like it still has trouble writing files to any other place other than desktop. Will say, it definitely seems like a permission issue, but I don't remember changing anything about app permissions recently. 😅
