hi i kinda want smt to happen but idk if its possible, so imagine that you want the head to turn L to R but you also want another parameter to turn to L to R but instead of it being only the head, its the whole body.
like is there a way to copy and paste somethinf youve done to a parameter to another to add more stuff? because its really hard recreating the samething over and over..,

Ctrl shift c and ctrl shift v its copy pasting selected meshes/deformer „position”,
But i am quite sure there are better ways to achieve what u exactly want so u need to tell more about what u want to do
like
imagine you need to have 2 different parameters for ur character
parameter A is for moving the whole body Left to right,
parameter B is for moving ONLY the head Left to right
but id have to make that parameter point all over again
like u made the head turn for parameter B but u also need it for parameter A
so i dont wanna do all of that again
soo i cant have a „whole body param „ like where the entire thing moves ..? is it actually not possible😓
i mean you can just rig the body on the regular head angle params, nothing is stopping you from doing that
i would just make parameter for Head only and Body only
Then Another set up of empty "input" parameters for ur movement so like
Head X
BodyOnly X (it turn only body)
then empty inputs are
Parameter A
Parameter B
Then in physic tab u made 2 physic groups
Head Turn
input with Parameter A and Parameter B (angle)
outpust Head X
Body turn (its second group)
input Parameter B
output Body X
most people keep it separated because they like some level of delay between the head and body movement, or like the option to reverse the body movement from head movement
sounds like conditional physics
i personally just tie my body to my head angles with physics
some people set up body to move with head in vtube studio with head as input
You will not want to make them permutations unless you want actual pain depending on the combos
yeah okay ill just seperate them
i was actually gonna ise this rig for animation purposes hahwh
then use physics
use head angle param as input for body movement
or you could just make sure each keyframe for body matches the head
In that case, it would be better to just keep them separated anyway for control and just add keyframes to the body param on timeline when you want it to move.
yeah
yeah good idea
Like you would add so much other work to avoid something so minor in clicks
