draw order + toggles?

so i want to make a toggle where i make my legs disappear and then its just my tail, but i want my hands to be at specific places for each toggle.

for the on toggle where its just my tail, i want to keep my hands behind the tail
but for the off toggle where i have my pants, i want my hands to be behind the pants and in front of the tail

is this possible? how would i do it? :o

so first off ima assume your model is ordered like this -> all other layers, hands, trail

or is there more layers behind the hand and tail?
