#Deformer Not Moving Like I want

I'm following a tutorial on making a simple bunny, I'm genuinely about to give up because even tho I follow it exactly like it says so much is going wrong. Prime example is the deformer, I want to make the pink part into the shape of the blue mouth but when I move it this happens. Adding more points just made it look stiff rather than smooth. I can't find anything online about this issue either or I'm probably just looking it up wrong

go to deform path

#

click the little trash can

#

and try drawing the line again

#

here you connected the end of the path to the first dot making this loop

i think it is, if you look at the very end you can see the path looping back

True, then its just not set up correct

Not sure how I did that, but deleting and retrying like 3 times made it finally work! Thank you so much! (Side note, anyone know how to make the eyes move in the same direction on X access)

# half tartan how do you mean?

sorry I had to step away. I'll post the video but if I look up the eyes go in different directions, I also have a lot of issues with shaking in the mouth and the Mouth X (for like a snear look) just doesn't move at all which I've run into a couple of times

#

everything I'm using for parameters is a premade file for the tutorial I'm using

the eyes looks like you have to reflect the parameter of one of them

#

ok one of the eyes moves correctly
the other is "mirror"
The one that is the mirrored one, you need to select the deformer that is rig on eyeball X
and then
1.- click the parameter eyeball X in any of the keyforms, and it will pop up a little tiny menu on the right of it
2.-click this mini menu and open it, then click reflect

I managed to fix that, the main issue I'm having is the mouth x not moving at all at this point

Live2D

in physics
can you test this
1.- look for Mouth X in the list of parameters
2.-do 1 click on the keyform of the right
3.-tell me if
a) the dot stay where you clicked
b) it went back to the middle

i need you to do 1 click on the right keyform, not to draw the slider

#

what i want to see is if the parameter is locked or not

quaint jasper
shut ginkgo
#

thats fine

#

ok the dot did stay where you did the click. This means the parameter is "Not" Lock
i would ask you to go on the top of the window, on the left, you will see an option currently at "Pattern A"
Chande that to the last option, and use that

#

mouth X should move

#

last option

#

can you click menu >preview >

#

one second

#

i dont remember the name one sec

#

Menu > Preview > Set random pose

#

you will see the list of all parameters, can you check if mouthX has the checkmark

quaint jasper
#

yup, everything is checked

shut ginkgo
#

are you using tracking?

#

i ask because i dont see you clicking the play icon

quaint jasper
#

mhm, it's connected with vtube studio

shut ginkgo
#

thats your issue

#

the model you are using in vts does not have mouth X so is not sending any tracking for mouth X to your live2D

quaint jasper
#

Royaldead are you serious

shut ginkgo
#

in the bright side
there is nothing wrong with your rig

quaint jasper
#

any suggestions on how to deal with that?

shut ginkgo
#

ammm you have to use a model with that so it can be tracked as you are doing right now
