Is it possible to use a inverted clipping mask on a clipped texture some how?

Hi ive been working on my first major live2d model and have gotten decently far in it but ive run into an issue when beginning work on the hair. I have a clipped texture for better manipulation on a layer i want to hide partially with an inverted clipping mask the issue is that clipped texture layer (thorntop tex L) doent adhere to the clipping mask on (thorntop L) is there any way to hide both with that inverted clipping mask at the same time?

Texture layer hidden with propper elements hidden vs when texture layer is visible

You could try using the double clipping method but differently maybe?

#

It would be a similar concept as the double clipping method, but this time there would be two different holes in which the thorntop tex L go into

this is most likely what ill have to do i wanna avoid any extraneous layers cuz its such a thick model already but this is a pretty good work around worst case

#

and im familiar with double clipping but i think the issue is that opacity or other clipping masks arent considered when clipping on to a layer effected by them

can you show the psd of how it should looks
and just a split of the piecesjust to see exactly the issue you are facing?

the look it has in the psd is via the use of layer masks not just clipping

what is the purple layer for?

its the inverted mask to hide the vine in live2d

ok if youw ant to do that you will have to merge the 3 layers of the vine
so you can invert clip the purple to them
