Tight turtleneck separation

I just wanted to know how U will separate and layer the tight turtle neck in a model?

if you don't mind the outfit not being completely changeable you could just make the turtleneck part of the skin/torso layers

well then I'd just make the pieces matching the shape of the skin layers but still as seperate layers, and just put them all in the same deformers when rigging

yes clipping would be good, I'd just seperate it in the same way you're seperating the torso
