#Vertices moving after mesh edit (Answered)

I'm editing the mesh of this part on the mouth. However, after editing the mesh to be in the right position, the vertices jumps to a new position.

To clarify, there is no parameter on this layer and it is not glued to anything. Any thoughts as to what the reason might be?

Ok, so, when on Mesh Edit and the Display is selected as:

Show Modeling: The vertices are where I placed them

But when I switch to Show Model Image, the vertices will move.

So new question is... what's the reason for this, and how to I reconcile the difference?

the question is more that if eve by mistake anything was moved

#

you can select that piece go to menu > modeling >edit form >revert form

However, the revert form might do the trick, I'll try that out. Thanks

Unfortunately, no luck. While within the Mesh edit, switching between "Show Modeling" and "Show Model Image" still shows a vertice moving and I'm not sure why

#

MAybe it's referring to different versions of the psd

modeling = current state of the mesh

#

model img = Original state of the mesh

How far original does it refer to? The very first instance of that layer? Or the original version of the latest psd?

that is why i said about the if at any point something was moved, that would explain why they are diferent

live2D works like this

#

when you load a psd, all layers will be in their "original state"
whatever you do later on is considered "current"

Ok, so the latest psd version then is treated as the "original"

cyan tendon
#

this helps live2D to be able to re-upload psd's even after the rig is done

#

that is also the reason why we should not change the psd position of layers or size of canvas

#

because then when re-inported they will not match "the original state"of the pieces

#

that is why when you change between modeling and model img you see a diferent position of the vertices

#

because at some point of your rig, you moved the layer, even a mesh or anything

I see, thanks for explaining
