it doesn't seemed to work

Hi I'm following Art gun's mouth rig tutorial but it seems that there is a part of the tutorial 13:30 where the layers for my mouth should cover each other but for some reason it isn't working. Am I missing something?

So first of all your setup is different from artgun’s. You have the lips clipped to themselves which is weird. The lower lips should be invert clipped to the top mask copy if you dont want the bottom lip line to show.

Yeah... The reason why the lips were clipped themselves because that seems what she did in the video also I'll check if the lower lips is inverse

Thats not what she did. She had lip lines and lip. And the lip was clipped in a specific way. She also had another mask that you did not have. So like i mentioned earlier, your setup is different from hers and thus when you tried to copy it, you got lost.

Wait you mean the third lip layer? I thought that was optional if the model has lipstick?

Oh... Wait is that why she self clip the model because of the mask that was for the lipstick?

The lipstick clipped to the mask, but you “copied” that and clipped the lip line to itself (which isnt what she did but what you thought she did)
