Hi! So I'm trying to glue a lineart layer with a color layer, but the lineart layer is behaving a little weird. When I open the mesh editor, the mesh disappears. I have made the mesh appear by clicking the show model image and back to show modeling, but even after that I am unable to edit the mesh itself. I'm trying to erase the mesh to replace it with the mesh of the colored layer so I could glue it, but none of the mesh editor tools work. Help!!!

Also, my laptop gets extremely laggy while trying to edit this layer for some reason
Did you already meshed the color layer?
yes i did!
thats the mesh im trying to put into thelineart layer
but the tools just wont even work
first to recover your mesh
1.- click the color layer, ctrl + C
2.-Now click your line layer and go to mesh editor
3.-now that you are on Show model image, you will delete all the mesh of the line layer
4.- Ctrl V [it should now paste the same mesh of the color layer]
5.-now you click done and get out of mesh editor
6.-Top left Windows Menu > Modeling > Edit Form > revert to original
this is not for glue
im not exactly sure the steps you did before but i can explain you why this steps works
The reason why your mesh disapeared was due to automeshing breaking the mesh [this is pretty common with auto mesh]
so what we did first was to delete all the mesh to get the bug out, then we copied the same mesh of the color layer because they should move the same.
with this, the layer now has a good mesh with no breaks, so then lastly we used revert to original to bring the mesh to its original position, now fixed
ohh i see, thank you!!!
yw
yes, automesh sometimes bugs [[more than i would like]] and sometimes send the broken mesh to void lol
oh wait, now i'm trying to glue but it wont work?
does it say something?
[[ngl if both layers are inside the same deformer, you dont need glue because as been the same mesh, they will move like if they were glued]]
ohhh ok!! i'll just put them in the same deformer instead
thank you!
