How to Approach Semi transparent sleeves when cutting?

So this model I'm working on has semi transparent sleeves, and I figured that for arm toggles, I just include a mask to avoid overlapping, but for the regular arms down separation I am a bit unsure.

if you dont want to make another mask I'd just leave them as one piece
