#Model's Idle Animation Jitters for Client Only?

Hello! nwn

I'll get straight to the meat and potatos of my question --

I made this model for a client, that has a rainbow looping animation clipped to the swirls on their hair. This animation loops every 6 seconds, however, my client has had issues with the animation jittering or "resetting" after what they presume to be around 30 minutes. I've left the model open on my end and could not recreate their results, and am positive the animation loops seamlessly every 6 seconds, otherwise the jitter would be more frequent or noticable.

I know my client uses their model almost exclusively to collab with someone else using Vtube Studio's "Online Multiplayer" function, so I'm wondering if that could have anything to do with it? According to the client, they have a pretty hefty computer that should be able to handle the model (The model is pretty simple anyways, so usually that isn't an issue).

Any ideas that I could mess around with the model to see what the issue is would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks for taking the time to read!

Here's a quick clip of the animation resetting:

did the timeline is set on the same fps that you have on physics windows and that you, and your client have vts?

#

[some people set as match app instead of a number in vts]

I'll ask them, currently the animation is set to 30 fps.

#

Do you think using VSync could be the issue?

vsync?

Talking about the frame rate the model is being run at on vts

mmm ngl i have 0 idea on that specific place, as i mean the physics fps not this one
BUT
i would always match the fps the model was rigged on

I see

I don't think ive ever noticed this omg

But I feel like I would have also noticed the issue if that was the case?

you always should tell your client what fps you rig the model, so client set it the same

#

who knows, because as is not a set number i dunno if the pc itself made the app pfs diferent between you and the client
That is why we set the specific number we used on the rig of the model, to make sure its gonna work as we rig

Thank you, I'll check the my client to see if this resolves their issue

if you want to make sure your iddle is all good, you can also take a picture of the timeline [specially the start and end] and show it here just to make sure

It should be good, considering it's just a looped param, but just to be suere here's the two starting and ending frames
